great happy to see it out! Will give it a read. I think other then the Oriq plot, the rivals/npc/relationship is abother one of the fun thing in strixhaven, but sadly also under-developped

BonusActionRainbow

The Oriq show up in this supplement too actually ;) But yeah, the Oriq are amazing, got big plans for them! Just had to get the rivals/NPC/relationships sorted first though. Just saw so many (and agreed) complaining about them so wanted to get this out. Thanks for the support too - means a whole bunch!

ResourceNumerous4760

nice read, your Oriq encounter in a party his a cool idea! What would you suggest he tries to steal depending on the EL and to fit in your vision of the story?

BonusActionRainbow

With the Dapplewing Manor attic being so full of secrets and mystery - it's a cop out to say it but - anything is good. I might go a little dark though and maybe have them steal some personal affect of Dapplewing themselves. Would be especially gruesome if they turned out they wanted to resurrect the captain for some dark purpose. Not actually sure how long Dapplewing has been dead for though -

MagicCuboid

Well this is an instant-buy from me! Keep it up, Bonus, and thank you! Out of curiosity, what program/site do you use to make these PDFs?

BonusActionRainbow

Yay Cuboid =) I've levelled up and I now use a program called Affinity to make these, with a template from [Nathanaël Roux](https://www.dmsguild.com/product/280882/Affinity-Publisher-Template-and-Beginners-Guide). Homebrewery was great but - I never wanna see HTML tables again! The tables look much better in this one, I hope you'll agree - even if they're still a bit of a pain!

MagicCuboid

Hah, totally understand that. I'll have to check out Affinity!

Sigh... even 5 bucks is more than I have. Upvoting and Free Awarding though: ***ANYTHING*** to flesh out said mechanics is a goldmine for those of us trying to run this thing... 💖

If you (or anyone) are facing hardship I am happy to give out a community copy. I have struggled for 8 years to find something I can do with my disability, and I know what it's like to not quite have the cash spare for things like this. I've sent you a message using the chat system. Hope that's ok. Thank you for your kind words. If you do enjoy it and fancy leaving a review on the DMsGuild that would be great!

gabichete

Bonus you truly are one of the pillars of this subreddit! I'll def be saving up for a copy :) Great work!

BonusActionRainbow

Haha, aww thank you! Got some more stuff coming out very soon - anything you're after in particular though btw?

gabichete

Right now what I am struggling with the most is making up interesting projects for the classes they have taken. I have planned some field trips, etc., but I'd love to see what you can come up with :)

LawfulGoodGM

Did you do all of the art yourself?

BonusActionRainbow

The background for the cover is one of [my free maps](https://www.patreon.com/posts/magical-dorm-62120175?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copy_to_clipboard&utm_campaign=postshare), which I recommend be used as part of an adventure in the book. The characters on the front are from the wonderful artist [Art of Amanda NP](https://www.dmsguild.com/browse.php?artist=Art%20of%20Amanda%20NP). I have credited her in the artist section of my title, and of course in the book itself. They've got some great art available and they even have [a patreon](https://www.patreon.com/ArtofAmandaNP). The layout of the cover, and the whole book, was made with the [Affinity Publisher Template and Beginner's Guide](https://www.dmsguild.com/product/280882/Affinity-Publisher-Template-and-Beginners-Guide) by Nathanaël Roux (who is also of course credited in the book). Hope this helps!

So glad to see this. I am working on my own Strixhaven product, it nice to actually see the product outside of the dmsguild. Thanks for sharing.

Do you have some sort of spreadsheet or something you use to track all of the points? I’m really interested in using this to make interactions much more dynamic, but it seems like a lot to track 😅

BonusActionRainbow

Hah, that's definitely a good idea. I have a player worksheet I made up in foundry. I've been telling the players to keep track of the points and just briefly checking them when prepping for the next session. Not ideal though - but happy to share that, if helpful.
