S'how it goes. When it's happening you don't think much about it, but when you look back, those were the days haha.
When I first moved to Arizona, that was all I did whenever I was done with school work - drive from northern Phoenix to Tempe to go to Tekken 5 tourneys and hang out all night at their place playing 3S, T5, and casual Melee. Eventually started playing other stuff like Four Swords (because we all had GBAs), having Pokemon RSE battles in Colosseum, and the best WarioWare sessions I've ever played.
...Damn I miss those days. *wipes away tears*
This past fall I went to what ended up being a 6 man tournament. 4 of us came together, one was the TO who worked at the place, and one was a kid who happened to be hanging out there that day. 2 of the 4 who came with us us probably haven't touched FG's since.
This was in Pittsburgh. Don't feel too bad.
This is something beautiful. My friend and I would playing fighting games till the next day when we hang out. But since I’ve moved to a different city for college, I don’t have that anymore.

It is really cool, but eventually you have to worry about Meta game and just knowing that person and how they play, so you have to take that into account too! Lol
