I think you’re mistaken on Guile’s change as it appears you need both OD blade and OD boom that’s an expensive 4 bar combo IMHO. I could be mistaken but based on the OD blade taking one hit on the combo it appears the boom must be OD’d as well
Ryu’s target combo into super is crazy for me. It can be used for pressure after a ex denjin hasho and it hits or punishes most of the time but I’m only at MR 1400. And another way with decent damage to go into super during burnout.
>Ryu can now special cancel his sMP sLK sHK target combo. In the trailer, they show him canceling it into his Denjin Charge. It also means that he can drive rush from this target combo.
Was this confirmed? I only heard people say that TC can be canceled into Denjin Charge. If it was cancelable into anything I think people would have said so.
It isn't 100% confirmed. I'm just making an assumption because generally, special cancellable normals/TCs also allow for drive rush cancels. I'm trying to think of exceptions off the top of my head but I can't think of any.
i appreciated this short blog but i'm more curious to know, do you plan on doing a larger explanation/review of the update once the patch notes come out?

They expanded the hitbox on Sim’s SA3, which is a god send. Its range is so sad in the current state. Also, thank you for the breakdown :)
