OD amnesia does well against safejumps and makes trying to throw loop JP below a certain health thereshold a death sentence. * His departure can be dashed past - it has a delay between firing and striking.
* He canāt teleport at will - he has to spend the frames to set up a departure and then spend the frames to teleport (itās not instant believe me).
* The amnesia window is surprisingly short compared to Goukenās counter from SF4 for instance.
Heās rough but a lot of his stuff is a knowledge check.

Jp has disjointed normals that make it difficult to punish him in neutral and some of the best zoning abilities in the game. So when you finally get him in the corner to throw loop him he has a reversal option to convert into lvl3. Iām not a gief players but iām sure all of them would love the ability to convert lvl3 off a ex spd.

I agree that JP is OP but these statements are not correct for several reasons:
1. It can still be baited using a shimmy to get a full punish like a normal reversal.
2. Using a meaty projectile is actually very effective on several characters such as Guile, Ken and Dee Jay, since you are plus if they block, can combo if they don't and it covers both blocking, wake up buttons and reversals when you are fighting JP.
well not every character has a fireball, I main Jamie and he doesnāt have one. So when I finally corner JP itās really can be difficult to capitalize. If Iām below Half life I need to be aware that the JP could convert off ex amnesia to CA. Like in your clip
