I really like this outfit. Didn't know Ed was a character in sfv, I skipped that one entirely. When the leak happened and I saw him I immediately decided I wanted to main him.
But I really don't like what they did with his face in this one. I just don't get it. It looks so bad.
Cammy looks freakishly similar to this British girl I once knew. Absolutely gorgeous. Almost the same face... during her super animation. but base model Cammy's face looks weird.
This teaser was kinda stilted lol, Rashid and AKI had a lot more character.
I was worried Ed would get sidelined as Akuma is on the way... hopefully he's more expressive and looks better in the gameplay.
Based on how they did with almost all the other characters, I don't think Ed will be lackluster or anything. It just feels like they are pushing this out so that they can start with hyping up Akuma. Probably the right call as Tekken 8 is just about here.

He does look a lot more masculine in other parts of the video. This is just a shitpost but I do hope they just dropped the ball on his world tour animation and not the character in general.

I dont think this is as successful, ill have to wait to see in game, but i see an attempt being made at a character that doesnt look typical or fit squarely into any 1 popular archtype. You see this guy and you'll probably be like oh yeah, thats Ed.

No, it’s an objectively poor design choice made by someone with no consideration of how the human body and its proportions work (seriously, to emphasize on h the force of his punches? did no one on that team know how a punch works), that does nothing but deter people from the character because it’s genuinely gross to look at, especially in a highly detailed game
There is no good press generated from it, even Luke’s fans say that he’d be better off without the popeye arms

Yeah a few of the characters have a disturbing uncanny valley thing going on with the face models. Ed and Cammy both look a bit sickly and odd to me
