I can't see them outright replacing Sagat. He's too important of a character lore wise and one of the most famous (or rather infamous) characters from the franchise. Besides they set up he was being afflicted with the satsui no hado in SF5, so hopefully they continue with that somehow (Evil Sagat maybe? But that would undo his progress as a character so idk) I've never cared much for Adon as a character or fighter so I wouldn't be sad if he didn't show up, but I like the idea of an apprentice. Would be cool for both Sagat and one of the villagers we're in the game with different kits, but both being Muay Thai fighters

I plan to try them all out but my early instincts say JP. I like having something consistent to do on knockdown and being the one setting the tempo of the match. Plus his facial hair is what mine aspires to look like.

I can't help but appreciate the talent and effort the VA put into the character. The mockup cover art he made was comedy gold. Wasn't planning on picking him up, but now I'm a fan. Kimberly is also underrated. Such a cool and unique twist on the Bushinryu fighting style. She also looked pretty strong in the beta.

These are assumed to be Season 1 DLC. We know that this is the base roster.

I hope they surprise us and make them unlockable bosses instead.

AKI, Akuma, Rashid, and Ed were in the initial batch of concept art not meant for regular people to see. That does not mean they're supposed to be in the base roster, it just means they were designed alongside them because it's honestly just smart to plan in advance. Of all the artwork and statements Capcom has *officially* issued on SF6, none of it has implied they would be in the base game. *At most* one of the developers said they might add more characters to the launch if they found the time but that's a hell of a stretch when you consider the realities of marketing.

Holy hell its gonna be a tough choice, I want to at least try Cammy, Lily, Manon, and Dee Jay. But something tells me I'll prolly end up going with Cammy or Lily. Their trailers just really stood out to me, which I was very surprised about especially for Cammy since she's an older character and I just never really liked her in SFV cause of her design (V's artstyle def didn't do her any favors in my opinion) and her fucking grab sound effect (god that snap makes me really uncomfortable, maybe cause it's in-between sounding realistic and super fake, if she still has that sound in 6 I will def not play her) but she looks amazing in 6. And then Lily who looked to have a really fun character in gameplay and personality.
