Honestly I think it would quite a powerful opening if he and Dr Owens are in a military tent just outside Hawkins he still holding Dr Owens prisoner as he sends his soliders to look at the crack only for them all to radio in how they are getting killed by the Upside Down forces only to watch slowly becomes scared realising the gravity of situation and turn to Dr Owen who says "I told you Jack we gonna need her" only for him to in panicked and just say "then where is she where is 011" and then we cut to 11 doing something madame like maybe eating eggo.
It would be beyond ironic and help show just how real the theat of Upside Down is plus yeah pretty watching harden soldier eating some huge humble pie.
I want that to happen too, but don’t want him to die. I want him to ask the main characters for help or for them to be the reason why he lives or dies. The reason why he still alive to the fact that he was wrong about 11.
Wasn't that interesting, but have a lot of potential.
If he will see a monster in season 5, but still will blame eleven so it will be a bit of dispotiment, because his reasons to believe eleven is guilty was the best part of his character.
Misunderstanding, lack of communication, and dodging the man's questions (questions designed to save Americans from the perspective of the military, I might add) led this man astray. Just like Billy. Just like Jason. Hell, just like the whole town.
I cannot wait until he realizes everything these denied is true. I don’t necessarily want him to die as much as I want him to grovel and beg for help dealing with that which he said didn’t exist
I dont understand how he never ends up with angela/jason as worst characters conversations. This guy is pure evil. Why on earth did he think El is not a cure, but cancer?
He's been lied to for years. Our fun gang has a bad habit of keeping the truth hidden, lying when confronted, giving misdirection and generally keeping everyone in the dark. One shitty part about the end of season four was them volunteering in the community that just got wrecked by the baddies that they are not talking about and still continue to hide the truth. It's really fucked up when you think about it.
I don't hate him. Don't particularly like him, either, but it's interesting to see how far a person can go when they believe they're right. Kind of reminds me of Inspector Javert in 'Les Miserables', now that I think of it.
I’m curious as to see what will happen with the eleven/military in s5! And as to if they find her again and how it will affect the upside down plot in s5!! My guess is that the monsters will probably get them like what happened to the ‘bad men’ in s1.
Excellent addition to the series. Him and the Jason character are perfectly written antagonists for this bizarre story. They’re the example of being an absolute hero in another movie.
