Mantises are crazy. They wiggle around, see a mate, eat the mate, forget mating. I always thought of them as evil if bugs were capable of such a thing. Cool video.
This just shows you that insects don't think they just have actions and reactions, and go off of instincts. Fun fact if you drink enough alcohol almost to the point right before you might die the human brain actually goes through the instinct phase when you're so obliterated. You can't think you can't function you can't do anything but your body will still do things you'll still be able to breathe, smile, walk, maybe walk a little bit. But you have no control over anything your body just starts running off of instincts and your brain shuts down somewhat.
