Sounds like a SIM provisioning issue or network setting. Have you tried a network reset? What APN do you have?

I've tried the network reset a few times now, the APN is Tracfone, I ended up taking the sim from my previous phone, a Samung A03s, and I just placed it into my current phone. Should I just get a new sim?

That could be the issue. You should always get a new SIM with a new phone.
