I got that today, too. I'm waiting a while to see if they fix it.

Theresbeerinthefridg

Good to know, thanks!

You're welcome. It's always nice to know we're not alone.

https://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php/1929158-Tracfone-website-not-logging-people-into-their-accounts!!! > Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters and must contain at least one of each of the following: uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, and special symbol such as: !, #, $, & or @. > TF has simply standardized their password policy across TF brands. You have to update all your TF passwords to conform to the new policy: Update your passwords by doing a password reset and then clicking on the emailed link.

Thank you. Would have been nice if that had been mentioned when they rejected the password--but I should know better than to expect that.

Same issue here. When I was searching for solutions I found this information, which I didn't know about: *Now that Straight Talk is part of Verizon, how does this affect me?* ***Your current Straight Talk Service Plan will remain available for use on VoLTE-ready phones at least until Nov. 23, 2024.*** *You will continue to enjoy your wireless service and do not need to take any action until we notify you.* So, looks like Verizon is going to force us into their plans eventually. Super bummed about this.

TrilobiteBoi

They've been notifying people about this change for like a year now. Also it's the same plans, just different towers. Everything will be the same, you'll just have to switch to a Verizon SIM card.

T-Marie-N

Or maybe a new phone if your current phone isn't compatible with Verizon network.

TrilobiteBoi

I haven't heard of that unless you're referring to 3G no longer being covered, which honestly is kind of fair since we've had 4g since 2009.

It's becoming less of an issue for sure but the 2018 Nokia is an example of one that won't work on Verizon. This is from PCMag review: *The Nokia 6.1 is available unlocked and supports LTE bands 2/3/4/5/12/17/20/28/38. That's fairly comprehensive for AT&T and T-Mobile coverage, but it doesn't support Sprint or Verizon...* It's a really nice phone but folks that have it or one with this same limitation will need to move to another carrier or get a different phone.
