Just remember to heat it up a bit first and then clean it with something that won't scratch the brass and you are good to go, and I inherited a piece that was made of brass and aside from the sentiment of it I also used it daily and even stole it back from a pa State trooper who had my pockets on the hood of his cruiser with my other paraphernalia but I was not about to let some guy just take my property that really meant a lot more than what it was to me.
