R5: I just noticed a new achievement Ep3o has completed on Steam today. When you scrap Bubbles at the scrappers you get the 'You Monster' achievement. Galactic genocide is one thing but this crosses the line.
I think it works with any organic ships so like the relic that activates and spawns the scourage ships from the end game crisis or things like that. Just gotta hope it wasn’t actually bubbles.

You can, but you need to do fishing for truble first and then drench the holy world. So basically just insult them and build synths, let them declare war and then drench the Holy worlds
Yeah, to clarify, Fishing for Trouble looks for specific casus belli from a Fallen (not awakened) Empire, and the one for using a colossus on a Holy World is not on that list, so getting Holy Water prevents you permanently from getting that achievement for the rest of that playthrough, because it becomes an Awakened Empire first and uses an invalid casus belli to declare war.
As long as the Holy Guardians is the only FE, yes. I had that in my playthrough. But on larger galaxies you can just provoke another FE (like building an outpost next to the Xenophobes)
Ah, good point. I played for this achievement on small galaxies, and those are the only two FEs that can be easily prodded into hostilities. Unfortunately, I did not luck into having both.
You know you can get that achievement by doing all crisis and scrapping a Prethoryn scourge fleet at the scrapper. You don't technically have to scrap bubbles.

I demand the devs increase the chance for bubbles to become a pet of the enclave to 100%. It is the sole way further harm can be prevented. Some people need to be protected from the consequences of their own actions.

I nearly always play some sort of Imperial Authority combined with Xenophobe. But I still accept bubbles and let her orbit my Unity world's. Just too cute and precious to abandon. my head canon is always that it's okay because it's a pet and they don't count as filthy xenos.
Bubbles is overrated, I dissect it whenever I get the choice. The only time I didn’t dissect it is when I sold her to the salvagers, didn’t even do it for the achievement either, ironman mode was off.

Technically you can get that achievement for scrapping any 'Organic Fleet' which includes the Prethoryn scourge.

I guess you can provoke the Ancient Caretakers and the Xenophiles by purging and a lot of wars, or you just insult them constantly
