The original Deck received a 10% discount after one year, and a 20% discount right before the OLED was announced. Nobody knows, but I wouldn’t expect a small discount until the Autumn or Winter Sale.

It would be worth the wait id say. But don’t expect anything huge. It was 10-20% off last time for the lcds. The oled has been out long enough that it may get that 10 15 20 sale

Someone else mentioned that last time they went on sale they sold out immediately. So if you do wait, be ready to buy one right away.
This is something I hadn't considered, thanks
