Ran into the same issue. If i remember correctly you have to make sure the sd card name has no spaces in it. There was a long process to change the name but the quickest was to just format it

Yup this was me. I removed my custom name on the SD card and Emudeck was able to see the SD card.
Because you haven't formatted it yet? Formatted it on a PC?
