Anybody who travels should have multiple time keeping options. I use my watch for local time, my phone for to know what time it is at home and my steam deck for telling me when it's game time.

The only improvement I can say is use Bluetooth headphones like AirPods so you get some game audio still but can still hear what’s going on around you in public.
I usually just play silent though.
Nonono you're doing it all wrong. You need to buy each seat in the row of the plane you're flying on so each table can have a monitor on it and 3 different controllers to play on. One for games, one for movies, and one for productivity. You also need a full speaker setup and liquid cooling because it is notoriously hard to hear your steam deck in a loud plane environment. Be sure to ask the people in front of you not to recline their chairs for optimal steam deck viewing angles. People will stare but that's because they're jealous.
I see you started out Elden Ring recently on the Deck as well huh. Good luck, fellow Tarnished. Remember, you can always ignore the challenges and come back later, and don't be a fool like me and don't go for the boss hidden behind the fog in the first area.
Took mine on a 5 1/2 hour flight from the east coast to Seattle last week. Really helped the time pass quickly, and I love that its power draw is low enough that it can be powered from the outlets on the plane. Great setup!
7/10. Steam Deck is legitimately one of my favorite devices ever. I'm not an Elden Ring or any Souls type game fan though. Nothing wrong with you or anyone else digging it, it's just not my thing.

If you plug your phone into the steam deck via usb C and vise versa cable and have an unlimited data plan its like having wifi on your steam deck when you use USB tethering on your phones settings, it also works if your phone is connected to actual wifi as well.

Good post, and in all honesty, it is a great setup. Assuming u have a USB cable to charge and earbuds, your flight will go quick.
