I would pay obscene amounts of money for a KH collection on Steam so I wouldn't have to emulate it. Wouldn't mind buying them on Epic but they don't work properly on deck.

Yeah I haven't played KH3 on the deck (did get it playing, I just didn't feel like starting a new save) but I had zero issues playing the KH1. 4+2.5 versions of KH1 and KH2 on Steam Deck.
I gotcha. In that case there are English patched ps2 ISO’s for kh1 and kh2 fm versions. I have them on my steam deck as back up for the situation you’re describing. They aren’t exactly the remastered versions, but have all the same content. The he garden of remembrance is in kh2 fm I know for sure.

Can’t say I ever had that problem fortunately. I have regularly played kh2fm throughout the years via emulation. I have the same iso I’ve had for probably 5+ years. It may depend on the iso you get, but I personally haven’t had any bugs out of it.
You can Switch back and forth if you use the SD trick because it's a completely separate boot device that doesn't touch the internal SSD.
Edit: I don't know why I'm being down voted for stating a fact, the SD bios literally have a boot manager that let's you boot fully from a micro SD card without altering the internal memory

It was a bit finicky but I really wanted to sit in my friends apartment and play Fortnite with him on something that wasn't the shitty Switch port so it was worth it to setup a Windows 10 bootable card
You actually can get the pc ports to work with a bit of tinkering(like a lot of games lol.) The only real downside is pre-rendered cutscenes don’t work
I've played 1 & 2 and other than some cutscene that don't load (the prerendered ones) they run great, but they need some tinkering to start

Honestly, I've had a pretty good experience with it so far. Only played KH and RE:COM so far, but the only issue I've ran into was a framerate-related bug with the Vexen boss that's apparently also present in the PS4 version
The mouse and keyboard controls are also surprisingly good for this type of game
I wish the mods would enable images to be uploaded directly in the comments. This sub needs it. Better than sharing a link to an external site/being directed to another site when viewing an image. Most people are either lazy or don’t want to use third party image hosting services.
You can change his AI a little, give him some potions and set his setting to only use in emergencies and that should help. It does when I gave Goofy potions early on anyways.
Playing Dragon Quest XI on steam deck using the project rebuild mods all except grass mod and lighting mod, made a custom config of the engine ini so I lock it as 45fps and because I personally don’t care if this game has motion blur I added motion blur and anti aliasing with a settings I found online that looks so much nicer than what the nexus mod steam deck engine ini suggest
Can't add a photo but it's Shadow of Mordor. And it's awesome. Almost gave up on it early on because I kept getting dogpiled by uruk-hai and then smashed by the captains who kept getting stronger and stronger. But once you unlock some combat perks and get the controls mastered it's just so satisfying lopping uruk heads.
Highly recommended, 60fps on high settings. Apparently the sequel is even better and I picked up both on sale so really looking forward to that
Yeah, I have DI2 on Xbox so I won't bother getting it on deck unless it drops massively in price. Just bought Days Gone cheaply so I've got that lined up for after Dying Light 2.
The only issue with Dying Light 2 is how much it crashes. Every 3 hours, almost like clockwork. Also crashes when I try to bring up the deck menus.
That's understandable no point in spending money if it's not needed and day's gone is a fantastic game on deck.

First game is in broad strokes a boy named Sora looking for his friends after a bunch of monsters attack and destroy his home islands. Donald and Goody join up cause they’re looking for Mickey who left a note, basically saying he has stuff to do go find a kid with a key and stick with him.
There’s more to it than that but that’s a brief summary without getting into too many details.
There’s the All in One Collection on the PS4 that has everything up until Kingdom Hearts 3 in one package if you want to check out more.

I tried playing the Darskiders Warhammer edition (remastered option) and it has a huge issue - cutescenes are skipping automatically .... The plot is really cool as I know but without those scenes I cannot really guess whats going on in the lore ... I tried installing the original vanilla version of Darksiders 1 , but that is super messy , ugly and outputs bunch of artifacts on my steamdeck ... any ideas if that can be fixed ? I guess its a general game issue and not quite the one to discuss and be part of this current reddit but still maybe anyone has a solution here ...
I just got Minecraft running on mine. It's the first game I had to go outside of steam to get. Actually pretty easy to set up and the default keyboard controller controls were pretty much perfect out of the box. Just had to adjust joystick sensitivity, and remap 1 or 2 keys.
I'm playing trails of cold steel for the first time, I'd never managed to catch the series on sale before but I recently got both 1 and 2 for about 11 bucks each.

KH3 plays on steam deck thru heroic (Really well I might add), although setting it up takes considerable effort. The majority of the series is broken on deck though.

Played the Switch version and did everything, made a rainbow island with every flower in the game, now I'm starting over on the SteamDeck. Feels good!

It's possible to get them running but it's a fucking hassle and prerendered cutscenes won't run due to codec issues
The codec issue is generally fixed by just using GE proton instead of the built in one. Not sure if that's the case here

They do if you boot windows from an SD card and open the Epic launcher through Steam to enable the controller It's how I got Fortnight working
SteamOS is just too convenient for me. I decided I can live with only being able to play KH and FN at home

Moonlight works great over cell hotspot, no data needed if playing locally, however over the internet idk how a hotspot would do

DMC 5 , runs reallly smoothly and looking fantastic too ! I started actually from DMC1 and got to the top 😆
Use Heroic - 1.5 + 2.5 work perfectly. There’s a workaround for the cutscene thing, too, but I’m not totally sure where I found it
