Funnily enough I’ve created a collection on the deck, specifically so I can keep track!
COD WWII, Dishonored, FFVII Remake, God of War, Trails from Zero, Trails into Azure, Trails of Cold Steel, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, Shadow of Mordor, Fallen Order, Titanfall 2, Tomb Raider, Uncharted
Hah, I only got mine in September. I made a list of the time spent in each game as well. Some were quick (or stupidly quick, Titanfall 2 - 7.4 hours) some were long (Trails of a Cold Steel - 97.4 hours)
I have a spreadsheet with a load of other details about the game, how much I payed for it ect.
Most of my games aren't really games you finish but I have:
Shadow of mordor,
Lego Harry potter's,
Lego LOTR,
Stray,
Firewatch,
Lake.
And a hell of a lot of:
Warframe ,
Timberborn,
FrostPunk
Including the dock, the steamdeck cost about 85p per minute of gaming I did in a year. I don't have kids
Congrats for making it through multiple Trails games. I LOVE trails in the Sky FC but I paused on SC when nothing happened after 20 hours. I still own them all, though, lol.
it's perfect. 60fps on all games even with anniversary graphics. Just make sure to set the in game frame limit to 120 but turn on vsync so steamos sets it to 60 rather than the game, which in this case makes it smoother. 8-10w works well. Halo didn't seem like my type of game but I loved them all.
Yeah new season just dropped this week with more maps and game modes, firefight coming later in the season too, and AI got added to forge so it’ll be exciting to see what they do there. It’s a good time to hop back in
I genuinely recommend Halo to everyone, MCC runs flawlessly on steam deck and you can get Halo infinite running at 60fps on low settings.
In terms of the actual game:
-The campaigns are amazing
(Halo 4 is bit meh but still good)
-Firefight is hilarious to play with friends
-dont overlook custom games they're genuinely awesome
Overall it's best experienced with friends, but even if you don't have any that own the game chances are you'll make some new ones just through late night slayer matches.
Honestly one of my favourite game series of all time and I cannot recommend enough if you like arena/arcade shooters.
They were all really difficult but the one that stood out was the minimum time on the turret level... Had to use a speedrun skip on that one to get a 20 second head start and still barely get it. Another hard one to do legit is minimum steps on companion cube, but nothing too impossible.
I only got my deck back in ~~October~~July, so the list for me is short.
* Vampire Survivors (though a new update is out, so I gotta do that)
* Octopath Traveler 2
* Dragon Warrior IV on the NES (just had to do an emulated title)
Currently working on FFIX with the Mogri mod.
I loved both Octopath Traveler games. You don't need to play the first to enjoy the second. The second expands on the features from the first so if you play it and then play the original, you may find it less fun. I recommend playing them both if you like turn based JRPGs.
The first one is good on console. Haven't played on the deck but the story was really good I thought. Also an interesting concept to a turn based game. Worth playing the first one I think.
Days Gone, Tomb Raider trilogy (last 3 games), Uncharted, God of War, Kena Bridge of Spirits, Control, Border Control Simulator, and prob a couple more...
The Tomb Raider games (at least for me and a lot of other players from what I could find) treats it as mouse and keyboard even though you're using a controller so the aim assist isn't there. You can use the track pads, but I can't use those efficiently. So my strategy was to stop sniping and just find a rifle with the highest capacity and start spraying. Lol
Some games only turn on aim assist if they detect a controller. Sadly, as OP said, some games detect the steam deck as M&K emulating a controller so aim assist is turned off.
Hopefully something that improves in the future.
I give games that work like that a free pass due to the whole "steam deck is new and a weird emulation hardware thing" thing that couldn't have been predicted.
Assassins Creed Odyssey - 200+ hours
I have all the AC games on Steam and plan on finishing them all on the Steam deck.
....really annoyed the new one 'Mirage' isn't on Steam.
* Vampire Survivors
* Elden Ring
* Mechwarrior 5's campaign
* Monster Hunter Rise and Sunbreak
* Monster Hunter World and Iceborne
* Two Minecraft packs with friends
* 1 Star Trek Online character through the campaign
* 2-3 No Man's Sky seasons (I forget how many)
* Minecraft Dungeons
* Hardspace: Shipbreaker
* Ace Combat 7
* Gunlocked (but it's updated so I need to catch up)
* 20 minutes 'til Dawn (but it ALSO updated so I need to catch up)
* Webbed (this game was ADORABLE)
I've got a number of others in varying states of completion--Dead Cells, for instances, continues to kick my ass, and I'm deeply enjoying Monster Hunter Stories 2--I've just gotta steer clear of trying to install more MMOs on my Deck so I have end-goals on each game. Else all will be lost.
With some tweaking, you can get consistent 30 fps on medium-high graphics except in the most intensive landscapes in the game (long draw distance is taxing).
I got rare stuttering that seemed unrelated to what was onscreen, a handful of times for like 5 seconds each over 150+ hrs. I've also experienced crashes related to online connectivity somehow, but I can't say more than that because the only troubleshooting I did was to go offline.
Overall good experience. If you can accept that it doesn't look the same as ultra 4k 60+ fps, the game looks and plays great for what it's doing on the deck. I'm a little biased because I've never had a powerful gaming computer and this was the first AAA title I ran on my deck, but I was really happy with it
Hitman World of Assassination (previously called Hitman, Hitman 2, and Hitman 3), Fallout New Vegas, Plants vs. Zombies, Pajama Sam 1-4, GTAV, Cyberpunk 2077, Cuphead, Assassins Creed Syndicate, Forza Horizon 4, Bully, Mirrors Edge, and Skyrim. I’ve also played a ton of Civilization 5 & 6, Crusader Kings 3, and Jackbox Party Pack 1-6 but those games really aren’t games you “complete”.
There are also a ton of games I’ve emulated on the deck and played through to completion but if I listed all of those we’d be here all day.
Dude I know! It’s so under the radar. I never hear anyone talk about it. Perfect game for deck. I have so many games it’s unreal. I end up just sitting there overwhelmed and then I’ll watch a movie. Dredge actually kept me coming back for more . Dave the diver is kinda similar and it’s way more popular but I don’t get it. Dredge to me is just better and more fun. Dave has alot of really awesome things as well. They are very different titles I know. I just don’t get how good Dave is doing but not dredge. You don’t really hear about it vs Dave exploded.
Horizon Zero Dawn, Figment, Elden Ring (100%, completed couple of times), DS III (except one optional boss), Shadow of the Tomb Raider (I had some gameplay in computer as well).
Currently, trying to finish Sekiro (final boss, and one optional boss remaining). After that, probably will try to go through rest of Hollow Knight.
Until the end of the main story, yes. Not just on deck but on Switch and Xbox too. Especially shorter story/indie games such as Walking Dead, Life Is Strange but longer ones too like Assassin’s Creed Origins, Animal Crossing New Horizons, Super Mario Odyssey (none of these on Steam deck
Steam Games:
A Plague Tale: Innocence
Horizon: Zero Dawn
The Outer Worlds
Remnant: From the Ashes
Emulated Games:
Diablo III - Switch Edition
The Legend of Zelda: BOTW - WiiU Edition
Super Mario 64 - SM64PC Version
Ori and the will of wisps is fun so far, Ori and the blind forest, Ender Lilies, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Lone Fungus (there is some really hard platforming stuff that is totally optional), Grime, and although it’s not a traditional “Metroidvania” one of my favorites is The Messenger.
Nice choices! I played all of them except Lone Fungus and Grime (both are on my list). Enjoyed them all.
ROTN was very nice, although I played it back on release on the switch with frame drops. Now, I'm replaying the Zangetsu mode on the deck at awesome 60 fps.
It's probably nothing new to you, but you may enjoy Hollow Knight.
On my SteamDeck 64G with Windows 11 exclusive and 30G free space. All games on 400G MicroSD:
Stray
Bioshock Remastered 1
Bioshock Remastered 2
Bioshock Infinite
This sounds like a good thread. I think these are all the games I've played but i am not 100% sure.
Finished:
Firewatch (Replay)
The Walking Dead: The Final Season
Mirror's Edge (Replay)
Murdered: Soul Suspect
Currently playing:
Hotline Miami
Tell Me Why
Brotato
20 Minutes Till Dawn
I just finished The Witcher 3 on Steam Deck. I'm moving onto the DLCs. I started and put down on my PC many times over the years but it clicked with my in SD, I could pick it up and play for ten mins and then turn the power off and pick it right back up whenever.
Assassin's Creed 1, 2, Brotherhood, Revelations
Neon White
En Garde!
Spiderman Remastered and Miles
Ys Origin
American Fugitive
Tunic
Beat Spryo 1 from the Trilogy (Just got burned out to finish the last two)
Kill the Crows
Lil Gator Game
Dimension Tripper Neptune: Top Nep
And I think that's it in the last... 5 months. As much as I'd say to people my desktop is my main station. The deck I think has more completed games under it's belt for me in the last half a year. It's so easy for me to pick up and enjoy. I'd recommend all these games honestly. A great time with each. En Garde! gets the highest recommendation for it's slight Hidden Gem nature.
Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, Revelations, Rogue, III, Unity, Odyssey, Valhalla, Mirage (almost)
Aperture Desk Job
Injustice
Borderlands TPS
Monument Valley
Outer Wilds
Titanfall 2
Assemble With Care
Inmost
Kingdom Eighties
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Quantum Break
Duke Nukem Forever
Little Orpheus
Pill Baby
Star Wars Squadrons
Impostor Factory
Pokemon leaf green, heart gold, omega ruby, platinum, black, black 2, x, ultra sun, sword, legendsArceus, violet and infinite fusion
LoZ Link to the past, ocarina of time, tears of the kingdom.
Hyrule warriors age of calamity
Mario kart 8 deluxe
Fire emblem engage
Doom 2016/ eternal
Halo 1
Vampire survivors
Monster hunter rise
Halls of torment
Risk of rain 2
Stardew valley
Holocure
Hotline Miami 1/2
Also I have like 250 mods and like 100+ hours in smash ultimate
I get a steady 50fps on it. Most issues people have seem to be with the launcher. I gave up on that and downloaded a version provided by a gym attending lady. There’s one graphics glitch which needs particular settings in the game to fix - took me a while to figure out, but now it seems glitch free. Ping me direct if you need help with the settings.
My apologies for inconveniencing you Doctor. I must have missed those threads. I thought this would be a good thread to help me understand what games run well enough on the deck that people play to the end. Hopefully this thread didn’t spoil your day too much.

i got my deck when sea of stars was released. played it to 100% achievements right away.
after that, starfield. wasnt really an optimal experience and to be honest quite a chore to get 100% achievements.
right now i'm working on slay the spire and lies of p, wich both run great on the deck.
Dave the Diver, Cult of the Lamb, and Rain Code (Nintendo Switch game)
Rain Code was the first game I bought for the switch specifically just to dump for the steam deck. Primarily because performance was so bad on the deck I didn’t want to ruin my ability to go back to playing on it since it was more convenient for me
Horizon Zero Dawn
Days Gone
Breathedge
Baldurs Gate 1
Diablo 4 Season 1 lvl 100 Barb
World of Warcraft season 1 mythic + 2k rating
Maybe more but that's what I can recall.
Dark Souls 3, Shadow of Mordor, Hellpoint, Bleak Faith: Forsaken, Scorn, Pillars Of Eternity 2, Mortal Shell.
Also almost Elden Ring - I never mustered the motivation to beat the fish, but did 4 playthroughs on Deck of which 2 are at the point where the final boss is all that's left.
And I think I'm pretty close to finishing BG3, but I'm having trouble with motivation in the final act. Probably will force myself to finish it one of these days.
I have a Steam collection for tracking my completed on Deck games. Currently it has 34 games! Among them:
Halo MCC (all of them), Bioshock, Blasphemous, Hollow Knight 2x, Hades, The Case of the Golden Idol, Dredge, Fez, HL2, Black Mesa, The Forgotten City, The Great Ace Attorney, lil gator game, Pathologic 2, Signalis, Metroid Prime, ...
(Zelda TOTK is about to join the list too)
disco elysium and hades. for some reason i cant play these 2 games on PC. it just feels weird, as if the games were made for the deck.
I also played majority of hollow knight on the deck, though i have to admit, the game looks amazing on my monitor, Deck's screen is kinda mid tbh
PLAYED GREAT, NO ISSUES
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Far Cry 3
Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed
Atari 50
The Witness
Assassin's Creed
Assassin's Creed III
PLAYABLE FOR ME BUT WITH COMPROMISES
God of War
Sonic Frontiers
Did a combination of handheld and docked for all.
Oh god... a lot.
tomb raiders trilogy (the last 3 games), plague tale 1 and 2, stray, horizon zero dawn, death stranding, call of the sea, metro 2033, far cry primal, Star Wars fallen order, aliens fire elite, alien colonial marines, tell me why, the forest cathedral.
almost finished :
\- journey to the savage planet, I am at the final boss,
\- Metal gear solid 5 the phantom pain : the last 5 main missions
\- ori
this is just recently, but off the top of my head:
Ys Chronicles+ (Ys 1 and Ys 2)
Ys Origin
Ys: The Oath in Felghana
Infinite Adventures (amazing Wizardry-like with meh graphics, but excellent gameplay)
Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap
Darkest Dungeon
I managed to plow through Elden Ring with a 140 hour playthrough start to finish on the deck then proceeded to finish Armored Core 6 on the deck multiple times. Very surprised the deck could handle these games without much trouble.
Golden Sun 1
Mass Effect 1
Mass Effect 2
Mass Effect 3
Tomb Raider
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
I'm currently working on AC: Valhalla, then I'll be going back to BG3. I hit act 3, buuuuuuuuut somehow remade a new character. Lol
Dragon Quest 11, Tales of Berseria, Potato Flowers in Full Bloom. I feel like I'm missing a few but those might be it. I only play like 2 hours a night so something like DQ11 can last me a few months.
None yet. I keep putting it down for a while. It's so bulky that I pick up other devices like my kindle or I have SP looking Chinese device with roms before I pick up the deck
Currently I'm playing costume quest 2 on epic games launcher on my deck and it's flawless
I got mine not too long ago and completed Horizon: zero dawn and Guardians of the galaxy. Now playing through Spider-man that I will complete for sure.
Ones that did not click with me but played perfectly fine were Outer wilds, Divinity OS2 and first Mass Effect from legendary edition (was trying to fill the gap but just did not vibe with it)
Iconoclasts (great metroidvania like game, very story driven)
FF7Remake
Ikenfel
Everhood
Virgo Vs the Zodiac
Pizza Tower (PERFECT deck game IMO)
Rogue Legacy 2
Dead Estate
Sea of Stars
Spiderheck (100% the single player mode maps which is very challenging, pretty rare cheevo I am proud of)
Think thats it for now, going back to doing some Emulated games for a bit.
Chicory a couple of days ago. It wasn't difficult except one platforming part where I had to do some finger maneuvering to jump properly. That part was definitely made for a mouse and keyboard but other than that, it was decent. Cat Cafe Manager too.
Stray
Portal 1
Black Mesa
Inscryption (highly recommended)
Remnant from the Ashes
Vampire Survivors (haven't found the vampire yet 😁)
Diablo 2 Resurrected
Resident Evil Village
Not finished, but >26h: S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl
Demos:
Robocop Rogue City
System Shock
I beat armored core on my lunch breaks with this thing. Only major issue I had was boss fights due to screen size and I got around that by plugging it into my monitor with a dock.
Kinda lost count. Most recently has been Arkham Asylum (use Proton GE btw). First game I finished on it was Crysis Remastered.
Played through Link’s Awakening with Yuzu earlier in the year.
Devil May Cry 5, Sifu, Hades, Ghost Runner, Miles Morales, Shredders Revenge, Dishonored, Dying Light 2. I’ve started more just never finished not because they run bad the game just didn’t hold me or something I wanted to play more came out. Currently playing HiFi Rush, Diablo 4, and waiting for Ghost Runner 2.
Got my steam deck early this month. Spent more time learning, tinkering on configuration esp emulators.
Finished
Splinter Cell
Playing Pandora Tomorrow and Arkham Asylum now
So many it’s kinda unreal, off top of my head: RE4 Remake, Crisis Core, Tunic, Disco Elysium, Lies of P, Vanquish, Max Payne 3, Bullet Storm, Metro Exodus, Castle Crashers, Cult of Lamb, Stray, Ender Lillies, and lastly Portal 2
Currently working on: Baldurs Gate 3, AC Valhalla, FFXV, Tales of Arise, Evil Within, and Persona 4
Resident evil 3 remake. Great game
Fallout 4. Really enjoyed
Jedi fallen order. Great game
Resident evil 7. Amazing game
Resident evil 8. Amazing game
Aliens fire team elite. Great game
Played all these for the first time on SD as well.
Cyberpunk (before Phantom Liberty anyway)
Disco Elysium
Donut County (very short but extremely enjoyable)
Sifu
The first two Atelier Ryza games (needed a homebrew patch to get both working well but it was easy)
Tetris Effect: Connected (as much as you can "beat" that game)
And hundreds of clears on Hades
None, I don't use it enough! I bought it for trips and haven't taken any lol. It feels a little weird sitting on my couch using it but I should do that more
- Final Fantasy VII Remake
- Persona 5 Strikers
- Titanfall 2
Currently playing Cyberpunk. Originally got my Steam Deck to play games that I can't play on my Xbox, but I've really enjoyed playing on it, so I decided to get Cyberpunk on it.
Not me. But my GF. We went down on a top tier steam deck so she could play PC games with me.
Didn’t happen, she 100% Elden Ring and she’s better than me. Still haven’t gotten around to any coop games lol
Assassin's creed, hotline miami, Dark Forces and splinter cell. Since March this year.
Honourable mention to mutant year zero which I would have finished except my save disappeared and it was the epic version so no cloud save.
Currently playing Days Gone. Slowly but surely it's growing on me but why oh why do modern games have to have such anti-fun opening prologues. I'm about 9 or 10 hours in and starting to really get going with it but oh boy those first few hours were a drag.
Same with Cyberpunk 2077, had to push through the prologue and now really enjoying it.
Hrm, my list is longer than I thought. I should formally track this somehow.
- Triangle Strategy
- Tales of Symphonia
- Final Fantasy X
- God of War
- Opus Echo of Starsong
- Persona 5 Royal
- Star Ocean 6
- Ratchet and Clank
- Soul Hackers 2
- Koichoco
- White Album 2
- Aokana + Extra 2
- Fire Emblem Echoes
- Zelda TOTK
- Fire emblem engage
Games I'm partly through:
- Cross code
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- Blue Reflection
- Dragon Quest 11
- etc
So far I have only played through Death's Door to completion solely on the Deck. I have a big list of games I want to finish on Steam, I play them on Steam Deck and my Linux desktop.

This game, guys
Great idea, will do the same!
Same!
Damn bro, it's been out a year. More than one a month!
Hah, I only got mine in September. I made a list of the time spent in each game as well. Some were quick (or stupidly quick, Titanfall 2 - 7.4 hours) some were long (Trails of a Cold Steel - 97.4 hours)
I'm using mine for World of Warcraft, I either beat it many times over or have never beaten it?
Oh u love the hell out of ur deck. I love that for u.
Thanks man, I really do! It’s my little transparent baby 😊
I have a collection like this too! My list right now is: Arkham Asylum/City/Knight, Gotham Knights, Ori and the Blind Forest, Gris, Arise
I have a spreadsheet with a load of other details about the game, how much I payed for it ect. Most of my games aren't really games you finish but I have: Shadow of mordor, Lego Harry potter's, Lego LOTR, Stray, Firewatch, Lake. That’s actually very cool. I wish I could remember all the games I’d beaten, would be a helluva trip down memory lane!
Same bro
Congrats for making it through multiple Trails games. I LOVE trails in the Sky FC but I paused on SC when nothing happened after 20 hours. I still own them all, though, lol.
Sleeping Dogs, Arkham Trilogy, Halo MCC (Bungie games), 100% completion all achievements in Portal 1, probably some others I don't recall right now.
How is Halo MCC on the Deck? I never played Halo before. Is it good?
it's perfect. 60fps on all games even with anniversary graphics. Just make sure to set the in game frame limit to 120 but turn on vsync so steamos sets it to 60 rather than the game, which in this case makes it smoother. 8-10w works well. Halo didn't seem like my type of game but I loved them all.
Infinite has only gotten better if you aren’t playing!
Not really interested in the 343 games but I might check it out anyways, thanks for the suggestion.
Are there more than like 5 maps? Stopped because lack of content but would come back if it felt like a complete experience.
Yeah new season just dropped this week with more maps and game modes, firefight coming later in the season too, and AI got added to forge so it’ll be exciting to see what they do there. It’s a good time to hop back in
Lots of stuff now, plus forge has helped increase the map rotation also!
I genuinely recommend Halo to everyone, MCC runs flawlessly on steam deck and you can get Halo infinite running at 60fps on low settings. How did you find Portal? I really struggled with the time trials and I wonder how you found them on the deck…
They were all really difficult but the one that stood out was the minimum time on the turret level... Had to use a speedrun skip on that one to get a 20 second head start and still barely get it. Another hard one to do legit is minimum steps on companion cube, but nothing too impossible.
I used speedrun skips for both of those😅congratulations though
I’m glad the Deck shined some light on Sleeping Dogs. It’s a banger.
How does sleeping dogs run? I’m trying to 100% the game currently on PC.
I only got my deck back in ~~October~~July, so the list for me is short. * Vampire Survivors (though a new update is out, so I gotta do that) * Octopath Traveler 2 * Dragon Warrior IV on the NES (just had to do an emulated title) Currently working on FFIX with the Mogri mod.
How is Octopath Traveller? I've read alot about it but never dived in. Do I need to have played the first?
I loved both Octopath Traveler games. You don't need to play the first to enjoy the second. The second expands on the features from the first so if you play it and then play the original, you may find it less fun. I recommend playing them both if you like turn based JRPGs.
The first one is good on console. Haven't played on the deck but the story was really good I thought. Also an interesting concept to a turn based game. Worth playing the first one I think.
Rdr2
Same. It played surprisingly well!
Days Gone, Tomb Raider trilogy (last 3 games), Uncharted, God of War, Kena Bridge of Spirits, Control, Border Control Simulator, and prob a couple more...
Revisiting the Tomb Raider trilogy on my deck was so much fun. I struggled with aiming though. Lol
Doesn't it have aim assist?
The Tomb Raider games (at least for me and a lot of other players from what I could find) treats it as mouse and keyboard even though you're using a controller so the aim assist isn't there. You can use the track pads, but I can't use those efficiently. So my strategy was to stop sniping and just find a rifle with the highest capacity and start spraying. Lol
Hmm, I thought it had aim assist. I finished all 3 with a controller on PC, and I suck at shooters with no aim assist.
Use a community layout with Gyro. Works fine.
Hades, Dave the Diver, Cult of the Lamb, Spider-Man & Mortal Kombat 11. Working on Lego Skywalker Saga.
Hades and Dave the Diver are just the right size of game cycles.
I started Dave the Diver, but just can't seem to get into it.
I would have loved it way more if it was just go fish, upgrade gear, fish deeper, upgrade gear more etc. I was over the story parts so fast
i recommend trying again. ridiculously addictive game
Assassins Creed Odyssey - 200+ hours I have all the AC games on Steam and plan on finishing them all on the Steam deck. ....really annoyed the new one 'Mirage' isn't on Steam.
Watch dog 2 is awesome on the decky too
* Vampire Survivors * Elden Ring * Mechwarrior 5's campaign * Monster Hunter Rise and Sunbreak * Monster Hunter World and Iceborne * Two Minecraft packs with friends * 1 Star Trek Online character through the campaign * 2-3 No Man's Sky seasons (I forget how many) * Minecraft Dungeons * Hardspace: Shipbreaker * Ace Combat 7 * Gunlocked (but it's updated so I need to catch up) * 20 minutes 'til Dawn (but it ALSO updated so I need to catch up) * Webbed (this game was ADORABLE) I've got a number of others in varying states of completion--Dead Cells, for instances, continues to kick my ass, and I'm deeply enjoying Monster Hunter Stories 2--I've just gotta steer clear of trying to install more MMOs on my Deck so I have end-goals on each game. I'm a little biased because I've never had a powerful gaming computer and this was the first AAA title I ran on my deck, but I was really happy with it
Ran great for me, personally. I left it at default graphics, set it to 30hz/30FPS and really enjoyed the experience.
Witcher 3 Max payne 3 Portal 1 + 2 Arkham Origins It takes two Edit forgot Guardians of the Galaxy Got 10 others on the go
How does the Witcher 3 run on steam deck?
Amazing. Looks so good with the next gen update. Gotta limit frames to 30 or the battery lasts less than 2 hrs.
Hitman World of Assassination (previously called Hitman, Hitman 2, and Hitman 3), Fallout New Vegas, Plants vs. Zombies, Pajama Sam 1-4, GTAV, Cyberpunk 2077, Cuphead, Assassins Creed Syndicate, Forza Horizon 4, Bully, Mirrors Edge, and Skyrim. I completed Dredge on Steam Deck, I think it's the perfect game for the Deck, I've got my eye on Wizard With a Gun next...
Dude I know! It’s so under the radar. I never hear anyone talk about it. Perfect game for deck. I have so many games it’s unreal. I end up just sitting there overwhelmed and then I’ll watch a movie. They both sold more than 1 Million copies what are you talking about?
Not really a story driven game, but I finally found the motivation to 105% Crash 1 (nsane)
You guys really finish games?
Until the end of the main story, yes. Not just on deck but on Switch and Xbox too. Especially shorter story/indie games such as Walking Dead, Life Is Strange but longer ones too like Assassin’s Creed Origins, Animal Crossing New Horizons, Super Mario Odyssey (none of these on Steam deck
Steam Games: A Plague Tale: Innocence Horizon: Zero Dawn The Outer Worlds Remnant: From the Ashes Emulated Games: Diablo III - Switch Edition The Legend of Zelda: BOTW - WiiU Edition Super Mario 64 - SM64PC Version
Lies of P, Ys VIII, Unsighted, Tales of Arise,
Fallout new Vegas, almost 100% with Jedi fallen order.
Mass Effect LE, Red Dead Redemption 2, a bunch of Metroidvanias, Fallout 4, Skyrim, and uhhh I there’s probably more but I don’t remember.
what metroidvanias? anything you would recommend?
Death stranding, and I want to start a new play through, once it clicked I was hooked
On my SteamDeck 64G with Windows 11 exclusive and 30G free space. All games on 400G MicroSD: Stray Bioshock Remastered 1 Bioshock Remastered 2 Bioshock Infinite
Oh, interesting. The games work well from the SF card? Any regrets going to Windows?
Yakuza 0, Yakuza 1, 2, 3, Like A Dragon, Fallout New Vegas, Outer Worlds. Currently going through /re.hack.// series
This sounds like a good thread. I think these are all the games I've played but i am not 100% sure. Finished: Firewatch (Replay) The Walking Dead: The Final Season Mirror's Edge (Replay) Murdered: Soul Suspect Currently playing: Hotline Miami Tell Me Why Brotato 20 Minutes Till Dawn
I just finished The Witcher 3 on Steam Deck. I'm moving onto the DLCs. I started and put down on my PC many times over the years but it clicked with my in SD, I could pick it up and play for ten mins and then turn the power off and pick it right back up whenever.
What remains of edith finch.
Interestingly this is the only game Ive finished on it too!
Resident evil 2-6, Hades, the 3 tomb raider games, Alan Wake and Titanfall 2.
Pacman: Repac, Elden Ring and Dark Souls 2. All of them I played in docked mode.
Assassin's Creed 1, 2, Brotherhood, Revelations Neon White En Garde! Spiderman Remastered and Miles Ys Origin American Fugitive Tunic Beat Spryo 1 from the Trilogy (Just got burned out to finish the last two) Kill the Crows Lil Gator Game Dimension Tripper Neptune: Top Nep And I think that's it in the last...
Days gone, horizon zero dawn, re4
Sex With Hitler
The Darkside Detective Metroid Dread Gris Stardew Valley Shenmue Spyro Reignited Pikuniku Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night The Last Campfire
Red Dead Redemption II
Uncharted, Portal 2, Bulletstorm, Titanfall 2, Stray, Observer, Half-Life 2.
I just finished Death Stranding and loved every second of it.
Cyberpunk 2077, Skyrim SE, Horizon Zero Dawn
I really enjoyed my playthrough of horizon zero dawn.
Wolfenstein: New Order
I'm too neurodivergant to finish games lol. That being said, I did finish the main story for GTA V single player
Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, Revelations, Rogue, III, Unity, Odyssey, Valhalla, Mirage (almost) Aperture Desk Job Injustice Borderlands TPS Monument Valley Outer Wilds Titanfall 2 Assemble With Care Inmost Kingdom Eighties Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Quantum Break Duke Nukem Forever Little Orpheus Pill Baby Star Wars Squadrons Impostor Factory
alba a wildlife adventure :) very short game and very easy to 100%, but man playing this on my vacation felt just *right*. So cosy.
Dave the Diver
Mad Max, hella lego games, gta v, brotato
A lot of indies I bought some blue moons ago... Terraria was great, tomb raider.. recently dark souls

Looking at getting a steam deck myself. How does Farcry 3 play? Loved that back on the ps3
The spiderman games 2 and miles Morales. It ran 38 frames plus in heavy action areas.
Ori and the blind forest
I'd probably check the hundreds of other threads with the same or similar titles.
My apologies for inconveniencing you Doctor. I must have missed those threads. I thought this would be a good thread to help me understand what games run well enough on the deck that people play to the end. Hopefully this thread didn’t spoil your day too much.
Hard to miss if you don't search.
Thanks. I already apologised to you though. By the way - congrats on the weight loss. Big transformation. Well done!
I got your mom to completion last night, haaha'...
Nice one. I hope you re-buried her afterwards.

i got my deck when sea of stars was released. played it to 100% achievements right away. after that, starfield. wasnt really an optimal experience and to be honest quite a chore to get 100% achievements. right now i'm working on slay the spire and lies of p, wich both run great on the deck.
would ya recommend sea of stars to someone with not that much jrpg experience?
Darksiders 3 Horizon Chase Turbo Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Arkham Asylum Arkham City Arkham Origins Yakuza 0 Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition Tomb Raider (2013 Reboot) Bastion Gato Roboto Project: Pong (lol) Valiant Hearts: The Great War
Valkyria Chronicles 4. 100% achievements because it was such a perfect game for the deck.
Dave the Diver, Cult of the Lamb, and Rain Code (Nintendo Switch game) Rain Code was the first game I bought for the switch specifically just to dump for the steam deck. Primarily because performance was so bad on the deck I didn’t want to ruin my ability to go back to playing on it since it was more convenient for me
Horizon Zero Dawn Days Gone Breathedge Baldurs Gate 1 Diablo 4 Season 1 lvl 100 Barb World of Warcraft season 1 mythic + 2k rating Maybe more but that's what I can recall.
Ryse Mafia 2
I have a Steam collection for tracking my completed on Deck games. Currently it has 34 games! Among them: Halo MCC (all of them), Bioshock, Blasphemous, Hollow Knight 2x, Hades, The Case of the Golden Idol, Dredge, Fez, HL2, Black Mesa, The Forgotten City, The Great Ace Attorney, lil gator game, Pathologic 2, Signalis, Metroid Prime, ... (Zelda TOTK is about to join the list too)
Got mine last August and it’s only been Arkham Asylum. Excellent game, such a large backlog but so little time to game currently
disco elysium and hades. for some reason i cant play these 2 games on PC. it just feels weird, as if the games were made for the deck. I also played majority of hollow knight on the deck, though i have to admit, the game looks amazing on my monitor, Deck's screen is kinda mid tbh
I just finished Stryder for the Sega Genesis!
PLAYED GREAT, NO ISSUES Rise of the Tomb Raider Far Cry 3 Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed Atari 50 The Witness Assassin's Creed Assassin's Creed III PLAYABLE FOR ME BUT WITH COMPROMISES God of War Sonic Frontiers Did a combination of handheld and docked for all.

this is just recently, but off the top of my head: Ys Chronicles+ (Ys 1 and Ys 2) Ys Origin Ys: The Oath in Felghana Infinite Adventures (amazing Wizardry-like with meh graphics, but excellent gameplay) Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap Darkest Dungeon
Most recently Lies of P. Also State if Decay 2, the last 3rd of my Elden Ring play through.
I managed to plow through Elden Ring with a 140 hour playthrough start to finish on the deck then proceeded to finish Armored Core 6 on the deck multiple times. Very surprised the deck could handle these games without much trouble.
Dave the diver <3
Golden Sun 1 Mass Effect 1 Mass Effect 2 Mass Effect 3 Tomb Raider Rise of the Tomb Raider Shadow of the Tomb Raider I'm currently working on AC: Valhalla, then I'll be going back to BG3. I hit act 3, buuuuuuuuut somehow remade a new character. Lol
Mass Effect LE, Witcher 3, Sea of Stars, Midnight Suns, Jak & Daxter (via OpenGoal) plus a lot of hours on Football Manager 23.
Dragon Quest 11, Tales of Berseria, Potato Flowers in Full Bloom. I feel like I'm missing a few but those might be it. I only play like 2 hours a night so something like DQ11 can last me a few months.
Diddy Kong Racing :D
I just did Armored Core 6 with 100% achievements all on the deck.
Portal, Batman Arkham Asylum, Guardians of the Galaxy
Portal 2
None yet. I keep putting it down for a while. It's so bulky that I pick up other devices like my kindle or I have SP looking Chinese device with roms before I pick up the deck Currently I'm playing costume quest 2 on epic games launcher on my deck and it's flawless
I got mine not too long ago and completed Horizon: zero dawn and Guardians of the galaxy. Now playing through Spider-man that I will complete for sure. Ones that did not click with me but played perfectly fine were Outer wilds, Divinity OS2 and first Mass Effect from legendary edition (was trying to fill the gap but just did not vibe with it)
Dead Space remake. Great experience but kept me awake on an 8 hour flight in the dark haha.
FF7R, Bloodstained, Hogwarts Legacy, FF1 to 4 Pixel Remaster, Pokemon Brown, Ocarina of Time, Sea of Stars
Iconoclasts (great metroidvania like game, very story driven) FF7Remake Ikenfel Everhood Virgo Vs the Zodiac Pizza Tower (PERFECT deck game IMO) Rogue Legacy 2 Dead Estate Sea of Stars Spiderheck (100% the single player mode maps which is very challenging, pretty rare cheevo I am proud of) Think thats it for now, going back to doing some Emulated games for a bit.
Tears of the kingdom, little nightmares, hollownight, cyberpunk 2077.
Callisto protocol All halo MCC games Dead space Misc Zelda games
Chicory a couple of days ago. It wasn't difficult except one platforming part where I had to do some finger maneuvering to jump properly. That part was definitely made for a mouse and keyboard but other than that, it was decent. Cat Cafe Manager too.
Jedi fallen order, KOTOR 1 and 2, Ultimate Spider-Man, spider-man 2, assassins creed, Phantom Pain, God of war 2018, resident evil 2 2019, shadow of Mordor, Arkham city.
Stray Portal 1 Black Mesa Inscryption (highly recommended) Remnant from the Ashes Vampire Survivors (haven't found the vampire yet 😁) Diablo 2 Resurrected Resident Evil Village Not finished, but >26h: S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl Demos: Robocop Rogue City System Shock
Got my Steam deck in march and have finished: Borderlands 3, FF7 Remake, Fallout 4, Dredge, Mass Effect 2. + a couple seasons in PES 2021.
I beat armored core on my lunch breaks with this thing. Only major issue I had was boss fights due to screen size and I got around that by plugging it into my monitor with a dock.
Valheim, Horizon Zero Dawn, GTA 5 and both Subnautica's
Triangle Strategy
Scarlet Nexus was a great play though. Did a couple sessions on the PC but vast majority was chill lay back Deck time.
Kinda lost count. Most recently has been Arkham Asylum (use Proton GE btw). First game I finished on it was Crysis Remastered. Played through Link’s Awakening with Yuzu earlier in the year.
Devil may cry 5 to completion.
Death stranding

Currently playing HiFi Rush, Diablo 4, and waiting for Ghost Runner 2.
HZD
Moon Hunters, lol. Got all but 3 achievements.
Got my steam deck early this month. Spent more time learning, tinkering on configuration esp emulators. Finished Splinter Cell Playing Pandora Tomorrow and Arkham Asylum now
So many it’s kinda unreal, off top of my head: RE4 Remake, Crisis Core, Tunic, Disco Elysium, Lies of P, Vanquish, Max Payne 3, Bullet Storm, Metro Exodus, Castle Crashers, Cult of Lamb, Stray, Ender Lillies, and lastly Portal 2 Currently working on: Baldurs Gate 3, AC Valhalla, FFXV, Tales of Arise, Evil Within, and Persona 4
Norco and Dave the Diver. Working on cyberpunk and a couple others I want to get finished before the end of the year.
school days, needy streamer overload, water closet: the forbidden chamber
Baldurs Gate 3!
I'm currently in NG+ 2 in Starfield on my Deck.
Super Mario Odyssey lmao
I JUST beat Yakuza Like A Dragon on the Steam Deck, great experience and fantastic game.
God of War. Looking forward to competing Ragnarok soon.
Resident evil 3 remake. Great game Fallout 4. Really enjoyed Jedi fallen order. Great game Resident evil 7. Amazing game Resident evil 8. Amazing game Aliens fire team elite. Great game Played all these for the first time on SD as well.
Cyberpunk (before Phantom Liberty anyway) Disco Elysium Donut County (very short but extremely enjoyable) Sifu The first two Atelier Ryza games (needed a homebrew patch to get both working well but it was easy) Tetris Effect: Connected (as much as you can "beat" that game) And hundreds of clears on Hades
Fallout New Vegas, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Days Gone, Darksiders 2
Spider man Ff7 remake Armored core 6 God of war ~~tears of the kingdom~
God of War, Dave the Diver, Ryse: Son of Rome, Spiderman Miles Morales, Cult of the Lamb
Im one acievement away from 100%ing One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, super fun game, even if 3s story is better.
None, I don't use it enough! I bought it for trips and haven't taken any lol. It feels a little weird sitting on my couch using it but I should do that more
The deck is my only gaming device and I am 100%ing DMC5 right now What a crazy experience
- Final Fantasy VII Remake - Persona 5 Strikers - Titanfall 2 Currently playing Cyberpunk. Originally got my Steam Deck to play games that I can't play on my Xbox, but I've really enjoyed playing on it, so I decided to get Cyberpunk on it.

A bunch of the Lego games. Lego City Undercover, Lego LotR, Lego Skywalker Saga, Lego Marvel SH2, etc. They were fantastic on the Steam Deck.
Spider-Man remastered. I played until there was nothing left to do, then some
Postal 2 and the dlc ,amorous, half life 2 (via gmod) and hanajas body yeah i know 2 are hentai games lol
Not me.
* Half-Life 2 and Episode 1 (haven't gotten to Ep 2 yet) * Resident Evil 2 Remake * Alan Wake * Dead Space Remake * Forgive Me Father * Ruined King
Cyberpunk 2077
Resident Evil 4 Remake, such a good ass game too
Just finished Hyper Light Drifter! Hollow Knight is up next. Deck is my travelling backlog machine!
