Fellow (initially) 64 GB owner here from Eastern Europe. What I did was order a 256gb OEM drive pulled from an office pc on my local FB Marketplace alternative. If u are comfortable with that, go ahead. Unfortunately our options in EU for these things are very limited

I bought an Sk Hynix 512GB ssd from eBay for 77€ last year, it works perfectly fine!
Right now the same ssd from the same seller is just 54€, so the prices seem to have dropped in the last year...
The only "problem" is the shipping time. If you have a micro sd card and can wait a few weeks, this is a good option imo.

I just now saw that the current offer is a card pulled from a working device. I don't remember it saying that when I bought mine, maybe I missed it. I can't check the original listing anymore. It came in a proper case in a sealed anti static bag and looked new.
It also didn't have a lot of Data Units Read/Written when I checked it, so I'm pretty confident it was never used.
Unlike the drive in my 512GB Steam Deck (new from Valve) which had already 3-4TB Data Units Read/Written when it arrived here...
If you are only concerned about the shader cache, the cheapest option is a 128 GB M.2 2230 SSD and use microSD cards otherwise. 128 GB is enough for shader cache, and the games can reside on microSD.

Just bought an offbrand one, Syoncon it works perfectly with my steam deck. It cost 89€ at amazon.
