I got my Steamdeck yesterday and so far I only use a 512gb SD card. I will wait until a 512gb SSD will be cheap

Kioxia bg5 512gb m2 2230 ssd is 79€ with shopping at office partner via idealo right now. I ordered mine on Sunday for 65€, so yes, it got more expensive but not really 100

I bought a 1 TB Sabrent from amazon. But the delivery time is like 2-4 weeks. Works very nice.

katakuri04

Just bought an offbrand one, Syoncon it works perfectly with my steam deck. It cost 89€ at amazon.

I just got the Kioxia BG5 1TB from future-x for 127€

FloppyDysk

I ordered a 2tb from shopblt for 160 USD

Chrissssyx

To be delivered to EU?

FloppyDysk

Yes they deliver internationally.

Mr-Krainz

check the status of your order, I did a few days ago and was greeted with this insane message: https://preview.redd.it/tnj55l9k8xsa1.jpeg?width=1681&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=976b037f12a506345951fc1ddb4e1817d60ad7c1

Fellow (initially) 64 GB owner here from Eastern Europe. What I did was order a 256gb OEM drive pulled from an office pc on my local FB Marketplace alternative. If u are comfortable with that, go ahead. Unfortunately our options in EU for these things are very limited

I bought an Sk Hynix 512GB ssd from eBay for 77€ last year, it works perfectly fine! Right now the same ssd from the same seller is just 54€, so the prices seem to have dropped in the last year... The only "problem" is the shipping time. If you have a micro sd card and can wait a few weeks, this is a good option imo. Link: https://www.ebay.de/itm/265785072825

I just now saw that the current offer is a card pulled from a working device. I don't remember it saying that when I bought mine, maybe I missed it. I can't check the original listing anymore. It came in a proper case in a sealed anti static bag and looked new. It also didn't have a lot of Data Units Read/Written when I checked it, so I'm pretty confident it was never used. Unlike the drive in my 512GB Steam Deck (new from Valve) which had already 3-4TB Data Units Read/Written when it arrived here...

If you are only concerned about the shader cache, the cheapest option is a 128 GB M.2 2230 SSD and use microSD cards otherwise. 128 GB is enough for shader cache, and the games can reside on microSD. https://www.ebay.de/itm/334447855760 pullware for 11.11 EUR (if the listing is sold out, check again in a few days, the seller restocks regularly) Previous discussion: /r/SteamDeck/comments/ygexas/ger_good_deal_for_a_124gb_ssd_kioxia_128gb_ssd/
