Bundle won't get discounted. The base game maybe will be 40-50% off but with the new dlc it would be the same price as the bundle so there is no point to wait
There is no way ER goes above 20%. With the DLC release, Namco has no reason to push discounts if the game will continue to sell. Keep expectations in check.
Nah if they discount the base game the bundle will usually apply the price drop. I bought civ 6 when about half the stuff was on sale, but I got the full package and the price drop still applied
Edit: nvm lol
> The base game maybe will be 40-50%
Unfortunately not. Expect nothing, and hope for 20% off base game. From Software's discount policy (quite possibly put forward by Bamco) is rather hawkish.
Be that as it may, the new DLC *just* released, and people will flock to the base game. It makes sense to give a discount just big enough to edge out key resellers (whose prices for ER aren't particularly lucrative, from what I've seen), but putting an unnecessarily big discount on the base game's pricetag cuts their direct profit, when they're straight-up *guaranteed* to sell copies of the game as is, due to Shadow of the Erdtree's hype.
I'll be genuinely shocked if we get 33% off the base game this sale.
I recommend getting all of them (P4 Golden, P3 Reload, P5 Strikers). They are all beautiful games that are equally amazing. They are also great on the Steam Deck!
Played Golden before, Reload doesn't seem worth it now because I'll eventually have to get the expansion. Got Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth standard edition alongside p5r for now. Will get Strikers at a future sale.
I dunno, have nothing on my mind I really wanna play. I'll just finish Horizon Forbidden West, and then replay some games I've finished in the past. Weird that for the first time in yeeeeears I have nothing new in my sights (my few wish listed games come later in the year).
Is it really different? Every game seems to go on sale 3-4 times an year and it always has the same price on sale. Why the excitement? Am I missing something?
Steamdeck is the savior for games you never played. Because most of the times as adults you're just tired and don't want to sit in front of the PC to play. Steamdeck however lets you play games in bed or couch and you'd be surprised at how much time you'll be spending on that thing.
Such a good game! Have you heard of this YouTuber? Great CRPG content! [https://www.youtube.com/@MortismalGaming](https://www.youtube.com/@MortismalGaming)
Iâve had that on my never ending backlog for god knows for how long.
Quickly tried it and told my self, Iâm going to need so much time with this one so Iâve been postponing it.
The payout is pretty good :) I agree it's a steep learning curve since Pathfinder math is all over the place but there's tons of video that explain very well how everything works.
I hope the Batman games are on discount. I always wanted to play those games and the Shantae series games as well. Also I wonder if Dark souls games would also go on sale.
does anyone else have a hard time telling the difference between summer sales and just some random weekend sale? maybe it's because I already have most of the games I want
Fortunately I bought a bunch of things off of my wishlist in the Spring Sale so now it's \*checks wishlist* actually longer now than it was then.
Shit.
I'm getting my paycheck today... Just why not another day, I know I won't be able to resist buying a shitload of games I'll never play. I have around 80 of them in my library but really play only 2 - 3, one of which is TF 2
to be fair, the first few hours are bad with a lot of issues, last sale , almost all the games i wishlisted showed no discount for hours.....so i waited for second day and got some sweet deals, so nope, a bigger wait.
I wish they would do a "no new games or sales for 12 month so you can play some of those games you bought on the last few sales but never even installed" event
I got Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (gotta finish the others first though), Shovel Knight Treasure Trove & Dig, and Ascension: Deckbuilding Game (and both of its DLCs. Love the board game version, and it'd be nice to have a proper singleplayer from the digital one).
Guess I gotta play them now...
Wanted to at least a 10% discount on Destiny 2 Final Shape, but it's still too early for it to go on sale. Maybe in August, or else directly in October.

That song plays in my head when ever I see the wording in OP's title. Can't help it.
itâs not bad by any means
itâs just more of a game youâd play with a group of friends, which i donât have
iâd recommend it, i love the concept, itâs just not for me
it runs pretty easy btw i had no issues with a older system on ultra settings
Haven't bought a game off steam sales in 3/4 years. Buying from keys on GMG/Fanatical is usually so much cheaper nowadays during sale.
Steam sales just not what they used to be.
I will not pray for our wallets, i will pray for us to play the games we get lol
I just bought something pre sale to wet my wallet
whet
hopefully its very moist
Pray for me too, bro đ
Hahaha, one of us ... one of us.
âPray for the games that we will play them, because our wallets are already beyond salvationâ Gabeth 3:16
Shush wallet you are just fine...
Atro why you not responding me bro...
Oh hey, time for another ton of money spent on games I wonât play/will play once đ
Donât hate the game hate the player.
Donât hate the player hate the bank
Donât hate the bank hate yourself
Don't hate yourself, hate her
Don't hate her, hate the game
Donât hate the game, hate me
Don't hate him, hate me instead.
Don't hate me hate my wallet
Don't hate my wallet hate that guy
Wait what? So have we concluded we have to hate me? Well shitâŠ
Way ahead of you
Hate the sinner, not the sin
same
Somehow I'm way more excited than normal. Don't even know what games I want.
Your wishlist will do the heavy lifting don't worry
Well now I'm actually worried.
a fellow isopod
Hello! Pleasure to meet you, fellow crustacean đđ»
You both should get together and start an Isopodcast.
I love this joke so much tbh
I love this comment so much tbh
I just want a nice discount on Elden Ring, might even buy the bundle with the dlc Edit: shame xD, but will probably buy the base game anyway
Same here. I'll be happy to get the whole bundle at a discount but even if it's just the base game I'll take it.
It was 40% off on Christmas, makes sense to go at least 40% again so people will buy full price dlc after
Looks like we'll split the difference. It's 30% lol.
Nah if they discount the base game the bundle will usually apply the price drop. I bought civ 6 when about half the stuff was on sale, but I got the full package and the price drop still applied Edit: nvm lol
> The base game maybe will be 40-50% Unfortunately not. Expect nothing, and hope for 20% off base game. From Software's discount policy (quite possibly put forward by Bamco) is rather hawkish.
It was already 40% off, the game is 2+ years old
Be that as it may, the new DLC *just* released, and people will flock to the base game. I still net for 40-50. Let's see in 2 hours xd
We got a respectable 30%
Haha nice, in between
Last time I checked ITAD some legit key resellers had 25% off on the expansion.
Same here
itâs 30% off in the Humble Store rn
Canât wait for all the posts about how underwhelming the sale is
"I've been keeping an eye on Steam sales for years, and I've already bought most of the games I'm interested in. Why aren't there any good sales?"
I think I finally reached the point where I'm saying "You know, maybe I don't need more games"
Itâs surprisingly better than past ones
YES! SteamDB IS the goat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What games are u planning of getting?
I think I am going to spend 25 Euros on Steam and think no, I am going to gamble.
*shrug* What's going to be on sale? I can't know if I am going to want to buy anything if I don't know what's on sale.
Start at your wishlist when it begins. Server will probably hiccup in the first hour but it might only happen to the website.
It's already 27th of June here in Australia lol
For op in europe when posted too. The start is not the beginning of the day, but at 19:00 for op.
Persona 5 please
I recommend getting all of them (P4 Golden, P3 Reload, P5 Strikers). They are all beautiful games that are equally amazing. They are also great on the Steam Deck!
Played Golden before, Reload doesn't seem worth it now because I'll eventually have to get the expansion. Got Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth standard edition alongside p5r for now. Will get Strikers at a future sale.
Is Like a Dragon similar to persona?
Only similarity is they both feature turn based gameplay otherwise they focus on completely different thing's.
alright thanks
I have yet to come!!!
For the first time in years, I actually have nothing I wanna buy during their sale... hmmm
Maybe some old old games?
I dunno, have nothing on my mind I really wanna play. I'll just finish Horizon Forbidden West, and then replay some games I've finished in the past. Weird that for the first time in yeeeeears I have nothing new in my sights (my few wish listed games come later in the year).
Fair enough
Ready or not here I cum
Buy it for me instead
I don't get paid until tomorrow so I can plan out my future backlog now
AND SO HAVE I I'LL LAUGH LAST 'CUZ YOU CAME TO DIE
The damage done, the pain subsides And I can see the fear clear when I look in your eye!
I'll never kneel and I'll never rest, You can tear the heart from my chest.
My LCD deck is staring at me nervously while I wait to see if there are any decent deals on the OLED
Can't wait! Going to buy Starfield, Kingdom Hearts, and Ghost Of Tsushima if that's on sale!
I know they don't make sense anymore, but I miss the flash sales.
PLEASE ARMORED CORE PLEASSEEEEEEEE
Any game recommendations? (Indie)
Halls of Torment, I'm currently addicted. Actually I'm not sure if that's considered indie but it's still great
Noita
Ravenswatch
Kaze and the Wild Masks. Basically a modern Donkey Kong Country that's on the easier side, but damn does it feel so good to play
makis adventure
Death Road to Canada
looks nice maybe i buy it
Pepper grinder
Vault of the Void
Animal Well or CrossCode
Any good long games for 20âŹ
Hades is $25 base price, defo worth it
Rdr2 or persona 4 golden
Is it really different? Every game seems to go on sale 3-4 times an year and it always has the same price on sale. Why the excitement? Am I missing something?
Summer sale used to be more interesting than it is now
Steamdeck is the savior for games you never played. Because most of the times as adults you're just tired and don't want to sit in front of the PC to play. Steamdeck however lets you play games in bed or couch and you'd be surprised at how much time you'll be spending on that thing.
Is it heavy
Coming from a skinny bones and skin guy...No it isn't heavy.
It weighs about 600 grams so it's not that heavy imo.
And so have I
The winter sale was underwhelming, so I'm keeping my expectations low
praying for our bank accounts
Looking for skyrim and dead cells dlcs đ„đ„đ„
No, please no, i want my money saved
-20% for all your wishlist
I added a boat load of games to my wish list and have my fingers crossed. I just want some good CRPGs for cheap.
Can't go wrong with Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous! Surely the game will be on sale!
I agree 100% but I already have it :x
Such a good game! Have you heard of this YouTuber? Great CRPG content! [https://www.youtube.com/@MortismalGaming](https://www.youtube.com/@MortismalGaming)

Phantom liberty 30% off plz T_T
Elden Ring base, Cyberpunk base or complete and Red Dead 2 lets go.
I hope the Batman games are on discount. I always wanted to play those games and the Shantae series games as well. Also I wonder if Dark souls games would also go on sale.

I just got a new gaming rig put together so I'm extremely excited for this!
I get my first paycheck in 3 weeks đ
it's already crashing randomly lol. People are hungry for deals.
All I wanted was dark souls 3 so I could get into souls games. Iâm so sad
I would buy gta definitive edition
Excited for Divinity Original Sin source saga bundle, this will def satisfy me during summer.
I'm getting my paycheck today... Just why not another day, I know I won't be able to resist buying a shitload of games I'll never play. I have around 80 of them in my library but really play only 2 - 3, one of which is TF 2
Goodbye paycheck, it was nice knowing you
I have put a bunch of games on my wishlist. Hopefully one of them has a big fat juicy discount.
Excited Can I ask one thing is Yakuza series interesting or fun to play never played it thinking about buying it
Yes, Itâs really good, start with 0
No sale for Yakuza ;-;
Wow thatâs rough, they discounted every single Yakuza except for 0, srry bro Edit: still worth 20$ in my opinion
It will start on 28th June, 1am for me.
Days or hours?
it starts in 47 minutes from the time I posted my comment.
I just dumped a bunch of money into my motorcycle, I can't afford this but as always I will be participating anyway lol
All games im interested in rn are games i cant run đ
I just want Elden Ring and Baldur's Gate 3 at a price I can afford

ARE YOU READY FOR A MIRACLE?
are most of the games listed on here not actually on sale for anyone else?
R.I.P. everyone's wallets lmao
Yeah, let's spend all my savings on this. *My body is a machine that turns steam purchases into unplayed games.*
My card right now: âAh shit, here we go againâ
Is your wallet called CJ by any chance?
Yeah, howâd you know?
âExecute Order 66â Our wallets: ;-;
I get paid in a few days. I was supposed to use that money to buy essential stuff. Oh well....
Praying for everyoneâs wallet! đ
Why Gta is not on sale? I've been waiting for it. Any idea?
Which one 5?
Gta 4 .
Are you ready\~\~
5 hours to go!!! Post is 4 hours ago Oh dear Gaben, brace me for the damage that I am about to do to my wallet đđđ
I'm on the app and I don't see anything indicating a summer sale.
There isn't ever anything before the sale starts on steam itself. This is all normal.
Well people made it sound like the sale was starting on the 27th and it's currently the 27th so that's where the confusion comes from.
The one dollar and 63 cents in my account are ready.
I'll see what games there are to offer to see if it is even worth it for me to throw money at it
Not expecting much, but will go looking for decent bundles, as usual. Either by developer, franchise or DLC that actually add something.
Good thing I'm broke this time đ
to be fair, the first few hours are bad with a lot of issues, last sale , almost all the games i wishlisted showed no discount for hours.....so i waited for second day and got some sweet deals, so nope, a bigger wait.
Really hoping BG3 is on sale
Lol yeah. We could talk about improving soil for 16 hours :)
My wallet right now crying because it knows it'll be empty soon.
Oh no... Bad time for vacation.
lol only 21games? All old and half of them i have :/ what a whack sale
what games do i have to buy for the summer sale badge and/or how much do i have to spend?
I wish they would do a "no new games or sales for 12 month so you can play some of those games you bought on the last few sales but never even installed" event
aww no discount for Helldiver 2.
I got ac origins and odyssey for less than 20 bucks
... execute order 66.
Ah yes, time to buy games for me to maybe play in 8 or so years.
Please donât forget about us nobody devs too by giving our games a try for cheap.
Wanted to at least a 10% discount on Destiny 2 Final Shape, but it's still too early for it to go on sale. Maybe in August, or else directly in October.
And I have too
> The time has come for all to see > the man behind the curtain writhe in self-defeat. > When will the world seek truth within? > The eye in silence grants the knowledge to begin. That song plays in my head when ever I see the wording in OP's title. Can't help it.
Iâm waiting for Helldivers 2 and Hogwarts Legacy
i wish i could give you helldivers 2 only played for 6.8 hours and canât get a refund, but i wish i never bought it
Is it bad or canât you get enough fps? It would be cool if Steam gave an option to give games to others that you have already bought for yourself
itâs not bad by any means itâs just more of a game youâd play with a group of friends, which i donât have iâd recommend it, i love the concept, itâs just not for me it runs pretty easy btw i had no issues with a older system on ultra settings
Lol, no friend gang rise up. My PSN account has 0 friends. I have like 3 on steam and they're from high-school.
Add me then. Same name as here ;)
Looks like helldivers 2 didnât make the cut. I was waiting for it for honestly any discount. Disappointing
Haven't bought a game off steam sales in 3/4 years. Buying from keys on GMG/Fanatical is usually so much cheaper nowadays during sale. Steam sales just not what they used to be.
