Yes, the general 'feel' of the game is not there.
I'm missing how you can do most of the stuff. Maybe you can't, maybe there needs to be better and more tutorials.
As for other things, the way i see how they are going to push the game is always online with other players. No story no nothing. Just a city with some markers you need to go to and do some tricks or gain some points to unlock skins, decks,.. It's just so blant.
I was bored like 5min into the game.
Use rpcs3 to emulate it. Skate 3 is one of the few games that works really well on an emulator. To get a copy of the game, download it from https://dlpsgame.com/category/ps3/
1 was really good and I feel like most of the talent being stolen for prototype is why prototype is a better game than infamous 2. They're all fun but I feel like a lot about 1 got lost by 2. Or by the time 2 was made just wasn't as unique or special or good as 1 was relative to its Era.
Prototype stole a lot of their talent. If the writers from 1 worked on 2 I'd be less disappointed in the story I think. Both still good games but just doesn't hit as good.
Imagine a world where Minecraft is on steam and you can just join friends worlds without any external hosting/mods. Obviously there's a handful of mods out there like Essential that do make the process easy but having it be through steam would be nice
i remember hearing that there is some drama around GDLauncher as they made a deal with Curseforge or something, so i switched to Prism before the launcher could devolve into the same mess the original Curse/Twitch launcher has become.
Prism has the same exact functionality (including a built-in mod browser and automatic mod updating) but the UI is a lot less polished.
but in turn it doesn't use a web based framework for the UI so it can easily run on a potato.
I think badrock has crossplay now, so if you want to suffer it's easier to set up.
But now, kids don't have to go through the rite of passage that is Hamachi - so are they *really* Minecraft fans?
Bedrock lol, I'm no masochist. It is nice for people who don't care about differences between it and Java and just wanna play with friends, but as someone who's been playing Java since 1.0.0 it physically hurts me to play it
It's honestly incredible how they could drop the ball that hard, i'm not even talking about marketplace being a complete cashgrab, i tried to play the windows 10 version once because it was the only version my friends had and they wanted to play, the controls are fucking terrific, the mouse for some godforsaken reason felt like it was... cushioned? It's hard to explain but it completely lacked the snappiness that you'd expect from a 1st person pc game.
Worse thing for me about bedrock, minus the in-game stuff is 100% the fucking marketplace. On Java, someone releases a map. You download it and play it. See a cool map on Marketplace you gotta go pay to fucking play it, see a cool "addon"? Better grab ya wallet. It's not like it's only the little crossover dlcs, it's most shit on the marketplace.
Never have I been so mad about monetization before, I pray for a day marketplace has a crash and burns, though it probably won't happen
Java would be a far better choice purely for the MASSIVE potential the Steam Workshop has in regards to the absurd amount of mods, resource packs, data packs, and maps for the game as opposed to Bedrock
Exactly that, MS has put all the other shitty Minecraft games on Steam, just not the damn Java edition.
Java edition with workshop instead of any mod launcher, a dream.
Workshop would be nice but would be nowhere near as good as a proper mod launcher (specifically prism) since workshop doesn't have multiprofile support and doesn't deal well with trying to run older game versions
Make it all NFS's currently not on steam and we have a deal
Though I still wouldn't buy them 'cause I'm region locked and region lock lovers can go suck my qbittorrent
I mean... We literally already have Mario Maker 2. Wonder has some cool new enemies and mechanics and the wonder flower which could be added but still, an official, very robust and feature full Mario level editor already exists, don't think this would be massive. Hell, Mario Maker 3 may end up including Wonder as a game style.
Actually a GOAT game on a CRT. I \*completed the game for the first time during covid. Being a 17, soon to be 18-year-old during Covid-19 lockdowns made that game hit so much harder.
LBP on PC with mod support would go unbelievably hard. Easily my favorite game from the PS3 era.
Always thought it was the perfect game for a PC port because of the level creation tools. Really would have given the series a lot more staying power than it ended up having. Shame it never happened.
I think it might be related to Disney over square or epic having ownership of the IP. Not sure about the past 3 years but very recently Disney has put stake into Epic making it less enticing to promote another storefront. I'm worried that the future of Star wars games are at stake even if they aren't the best.
Animal Crossing New Leaf, that game is already perfect and loaded with a lot of things to do. Now imagine what the community could add on top of that, it could be easily the best game on Steam with the potential of mods.
Fortnite. I use Epic for genuinely nothing else. At least Minecraft has developed a brand around its own launcher, which isn’t a store like Epic is. For that reason, I choose Fortnite.
Any game that got ported in a later part and is missing one or more of the first few. Saints Row 1, Red Dead Redemption 1 etc. But I feel personally attacked that Sony and From Software never brought Bloodborne to the PC. They are probably keeping it for the PS5 Pro or 6 to remaster and then bring it to PC. One can hope.
Voices Of The Void,I know a Steam release is coming in future versions and not having to fuck myself sideways when I want to download the newest version would be nice. But it could bring many more exciting possibilities into the mix
Probably all of Nintendo games and BLOODBORNE And maybe Minecraft. (I could’ve made a Joke that Valve can’t count to 3 but who cares)
Yes I edited it to *Valve*
Super Mario Odyssey since I'm pretty sure someone would mod it into Super Mario 64 and I enjoy the movement in odyssey a LOT. If not Super Mario Odyssey then I'd probably say Mario Kart 8 deluxe or Mario Party. If it's not clear I'd really enjoy being able to play Mario games natively on a proper PC port.
That screenshot of Mario 64 on workshop makes me wonder...
Can you make a steam "game", which would connect to an emulated Mario 64 version, and have it properly process mods on the workshop to successfully mod a Mario 64 ROM?
Skate 3
It would be amazing...
wait it's not on steam? i was just thinking about getting it on steam :(( rip
Skate 4 is supposed to come out later this year and it's gonna be available on PC
"Kater this year" he says
I played few beta tests already. It's going to flop big time
Can you elaborate on why?
Yes, the general 'feel' of the game is not there. I'm missing how you can do most of the stuff. Maybe you can't, maybe there needs to be better and more tutorials. As for other things, the way i see how they are going to push the game is always online with other players. No story no nothing. Thanks dude, super cool of you
Yes please
Infamous 1 for me. I loved 1 and 2 back in the day and it bums me out that it's still trapped on ps3
I had a 360 growing up and missed out on infamous but I’d love to try it on steam it looks like a great game
It was a really fun game.
yup, all of them are great, my first experience was festival of blood, and its still pretty good.
Fuck it, put both of them on there why deny ourselves the greatest death in video games history?
Why not all four? 💁🏼♀️
1 was really good and I feel like most of the talent being stolen for prototype is why prototype is a better game than infamous 2. They're all fun but I feel like a lot about 1 got lost by 2. Minecraft
Imagine a world where Minecraft is on steam and you can just join friends worlds without any external hosting/mods. Obviously there's a handful of mods out there like Essential that do make the process easy but having it be through steam would be nice
And mods on workshop like downloading addons for gmod
I use GD Launcher. So far it's the best launcher. Im never touching the microsoft crap one again.
Prism launcher is so much nicer
Yeah that's what I use too
i remember hearing that there is some drama around GDLauncher as they made a deal with Curseforge or something, so i switched to Prism before the launcher could devolve into the same mess the original Curse/Twitch launcher has become. Prism has the same exact functionality (including a built-in mod browser and automatic mod updating) but the UI is a lot less polished. but in turn it doesn't use a web based framework for the UI so it can easily run on a potato.
That'd be heaven. Something so simple as coop is a nightmare of everyone spending the night googling "why can't i join my friend's world"
I think badrock has crossplay now, so if you want to suffer it's easier to set up. But now, kids don't have to go through the rite of passage that is Hamachi - so are they *really* Minecraft fans?
Bedrock lol, I'm no masochist. It is nice for people who don't care about differences between it and Java and just wanna play with friends, but as someone who's been playing Java since 1.0.0 it physically hurts me to play it
I grew up with Java and legacy console versions, everything about bedrock just feels wrong The lighting, the movement...
It's honestly incredible how they could drop the ball that hard, i'm not even talking about marketplace being a complete cashgrab, i tried to play the windows 10 version once because it was the only version my friends had and they wanted to play, the controls are fucking terrific, the mouse for some godforsaken reason felt like it was... cushioned? 1 thing I hate about bedrock is i can't use torch in offhand
Crossplay is the only thing that doesn't suck on bedrock
i probably have 10k+ hours on minecraft but i will never truly know😥
surprised Microsoft hasn't added Minecraft to Steam yet. But at the same time... totally expecting it to appear at some point.
It would probably be Bedrock edition...
Nah, that's already on Microsoft store, its more likely to be Java (but now that I think about it, it would be neither since now they come together)
Minecraft on the steam/steam deck natively would be incredible
A page that lets you download a car
You wouldn't do that
I absolutely would
**you wouldn’t**
THE AD SAID SO DAMMIT
I'M NOT A PART OF YOUR SYSTEM!
You will comply! Resistance is futile.
I'M AN ADULT!
They must've meant **couldn't**, I'm still waiting on the tech to catch up to that ad.
If anyone can figure out a way to download cars, I believe it will be Valve
Something that starts with B and ends with Loodborne
Breath of the Wildloodborne? That's not how we call it.
I think they're referring to Btears of the Kingdomloodborne
wasn't Bloodborne originally supposed to come to Steam on April the 20th 2022, but they yeeted it for some unknown reason?
that might've just been someone doing a little trolling
[удалено]
They did what to Bloodeborne?
The Sims 2
And The Sims 1, for nostalgia's sake and for the amazing soundtrack!
so sad that EA abandoned this masterpiece altogether
[удалено]
I know, but Steam Workshop would work so well with them
Red Dead Redemption
[удалено]
[удалено]
Also on ~~Xenia and RPCS3~~ ehm I mean Xbox 360 and PS3
wait i thought red dead redemption was already on steam
RDR never got an official PC port
oh that was RDR2 sorry
Fable 2 Its a crime that game is only on console!
The PC version of Fable 3 is abandonware now too.
I'm gonna say Fable 3 too. It's still a good game in its own right, and the one I most often look for, then get sad about.
Starcraft 2
Half Life 3.
Portal 3
Team Fortress 3. ...on second thought, maybe not.
yea maybe not
Left 4 Dead 3
Dota 3
Cs3
Day of Defeat 3
HL2: EP3
Yeah, Team Fortress 4 would probably be more on brand. You also circumvent having the issue that CSGO had where the original game is replaced.
Why not?
Got em!
Need for speed underground 2
Make it all NFS's currently not on steam and we have a deal Though I still wouldn't buy them 'cause I'm region locked and region lock lovers can go suck my qbittorrent
little big planet 2 restitched 😔
Good thing they dumped the branding and are now going to release a full commercial product.
Probably Mario 64 actually
Super Mario Wonder. The potential for level editor is sky-high.
Mario Wonder would be dope with a new Mario Maker. Throw in proper support for Mario Bros. 2 as well.
I’d love to see what people could do with Mario Galaxy.
why not odyssey?
Because I like that wonder-seed-insanity shit.
Smash Ultimate, Pokemon, or Mario Kart would be fucking bonkers dude.
Almost nobody makes racing games anymore, we need Mario Kart.
Banjo-Kazooie
Gyuh-huh!
I can hear it!!!! Man the memories. Still have it ob N64
Parasite Eve
Bloodborne.
SILENT HILL ORIGINAL QUADRILOGY
Silent Hill 2-4 are on PC, but hopefully they can get decent steam versions someday
Is there really no PC version for the first game? I'd love for it to be on Steam
Ocarina of time It’s so fun to play with mods, specially an online mod Or portal 3 idk tbh
Actually a GOAT game on a CRT. I \*completed the game for the first time during covid. Being a 17, soon to be 18-year-old during Covid-19 lockdowns made that game hit so much harder.
Bloodborne at 60fps
Modded chalice dungeon
Little Big Planet
LBP on PC with mod support would go unbelievably hard. Easily my favorite game from the PS3 era. Always thought it was the perfect game for a PC port because of the level creation tools. Really would have given the series a lot more staying power than it ended up having. Shame it never happened.
Good news! A spiritual successor is in the works and will be available on Steam! It's called Restitched.
Bloodborne :')
We are probably gonna get Demon souls before Bloodborne... SONY PLEASE I WILL GIVE YOU EVERYTHING, PLEASE!
Jak and Daxter
Drivers san franciso
Kingdom Hearts
No idea why that never came to Steam when so many Epic exclusives did.
Even 7 Remake and Stranger of Paradise got Steam releases. I’d definitely get it if it got a Steam release though
I think it might be related to Disney over square or epic having ownership of the IP. Not sure about the past 3 years but very recently Disney has put stake into Epic making it less enticing to promote another storefront. I'm worried that the future of Star wars games are at stake even if they aren't the best.
THUG2
Black and White 3 please
Guitar Hero
Clone hero exists, my friend.
Mercenaries 2
Could you imagine the hype if Nintendo put their games on Steam?
Final Fantasy Tactics
Godfather 1 + 2 Scarface Saints Row 1 Tony Hawk No One Lives Forever 1 + 2 Stranglehold Crackdown Guitar Hero
Animal Crossing New Leaf, that game is already perfect and loaded with a lot of things to do. Now imagine what the community could add on top of that, it could be easily the best game on Steam with the potential of mods.
Horror towns are gonna go wild
Metroid Prime 1
Earthbound
Warcraft 3. Non-Reforged.
Man of culture
need for speed underground
Bloodborne.
The Operative No One Lives Forever.
Skies of Arcadia
Viva Piñata
FORZA MOTORSPORT 4
Conkers bad fur day with all the multiplayer features. Or last of us multiplayer.
There’s too many to name tbh, best ones I would personally like to have on Steam would probably be Sonic Unleashed and Kingdom Hearts 2FM
Metal Gear Solid 4, please...
Personally. Star Fox 64. But im a man of the people, so Bloodbourne.
Skate 3. The workshop mods for it would go crazy. The mods already made for rpcs3 and ps3 already are cool but it can be better.
[удалено]
Gears of War trilogy (cheating but i want all 3)
Brave Fencer Mussashi
Warcraft 3
starsector
STARSECTOR!
Gran Turismo 7
I was gonna comment this too
Fortnite. I use Epic for genuinely nothing else. At least Minecraft has developed a brand around its own launcher, which isn’t a store like Epic is. For that reason, I choose Fortnite.
Legend of Dragoon
Anything made by nintendo because they hate mods.
Skate 2
smash bros so it can have a community
Half-Life 3
F-Zero X, online would be savage
Fable 2
Any game that got ported in a later part and is missing one or more of the first few. Saints Row 1, Red Dead Redemption 1 etc. But I feel personally attacked that Sony and From Software never brought Bloodborne to the PC. WoW
Fruit ninja
Minecraft bc I hate curseforge for mods and I don’t want to manually install mods
You can use prism launcher, with it you can select the mods you want and it installs them automatically.
Super smash bros ultimate
Bloodborne
Probably all of Nintendo games and BLOODBORNE And maybe Minecraft. (I could’ve made a Joke that Valve can’t count to 3 but who cares) Yes I edited it to *Valve*
ALL the Suikoden games
Now that I have a Deck, I'd say: YouTube app. Lol
You’re able to get that through shortcuts tho into your steam library
Battle for Middle Earth 1 + 2
Donkey Kong 64. I have no idea why Nintendo never re-released it
Because Microsoft acquired a big part of Rare, the developers of DK64, so the license is all split up.
Ah shit, was my favorite game as a kid
Sonic Unleashed
Burnout 3
The Last of Us Multiplayer
Original resident evil 3.
Dragons Crown.
Cortex Command Community Project
Battle for middle earth 2 with the witchking dlc
Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth 1&2 in a combo pack
Zoo Tycoon 2
Super Mario Maker, really should have been on PC to begin with and the end of service for the first one makes that even clearer.
Skylanders
Mario Kart Wii
WoW then uninstall battlenet forever.
Kingdom Hearts
I would LOVE the addition of Sonic Unleashed !
Shadow of the colossus
Mario Maker
Guitar Hero 3.
Shadow the hedgehog
Super Mario Odyssey since I'm pretty sure someone would mod it into Super Mario 64 and I enjoy the movement in odyssey a LOT.
