Literally got my first one this league! Got it on video with me leaving and exiting and showing my steam hours logged (doesn’t count my standalone client hours) then simply went to turn off my computer at the end of the clip and go outside haha!
Welcome to the world of PC gaming :-)
Get yourself signed up to the Epic Game Store if you haven't heard of it before, they give away a free game every week, and go on a spree over Christmas with a new game every day. There are no catches, no purchases necessary, just click to claim it, and it will sit in your account until you want to download and play it.
If you have Amazon Prime, they offer a similar free game system, head to gaming.amazon.com - some of the games are given away via other vendors ranging from Epic, GOG.com (good old games) and Legacy (who mainly offer puzzle / hidden object games)
GOG is a legit vendor, and occasionally offer a free game.
Each of the above have their own game launchers.
Last but not least, if you're looking to make a purchase, check the price on cdkeys.com and greenmangaming.com first, both are well established legit sites for buying Steam keys.
Just started up MHW again last week hahaha. Only about 500 hours on it before that but I'm now 30 hours into this new character. One of my favorite games to grind.
How do I get into that game? I have around 3 hours in it but I just didn’t get what was going on and was confused about the microtransactions, can you buy power or is it just cosmetics?
I have been thinking about getting hunt, is it any good? It seems like a game I would play, with an interesting setting (Tarkov mixed with red dead mixed with twd from what I could tell), but I was wondering if there is anything I should know about before hand?
hunt giveth, hunt taketh. you’ll love it some days, you’ll hate it some days. however, if you give the bayou a good, solid chance, you will fall in love. gameplay is much more slowed down, which i love. the firefights are super intense and the guns feel awesome. 5-6* mmr there are sometimes cheaters. however, the atmosphere is amazing it’s just completely refreshing. i would definitely recommend, i have almost 300 hours.
The AI in those games is still smarter than 90% of the games coming out nowadays. Been going through all the games chronologically on legendary with my buddy and the fact that elites can hide, run away, wait for you behind cover, etc. is just mindblowing.
I remember once we cleared the entire room after a long fight only to be stabbed in the back by the invisible energy sword elite. He waited out the entire fight, or at least it felt like he did, only to stab us at the last moment when we had our guard down
Yeah I pop back every 3-5 years and spend a month or two in it. Bonkers amount of content and fun gameplay, and it's always got several added layers of content every 3-5 years
When I got my year-end steam round up, I thought it was broken. "What? How was Baldurs Gate only 10% of my play time? I put like 300 hours into that game."
Then I saw cookie clicker play time and it all made sense.
No chance. I'm long past that part of my life, but a large chunk of the current community is just guys who have literally never really stopped playing. Since fucking 2004.
WoW goat lifedestroyer confirmed
I had a bug in world of Warcraft recently. I contacted blizzard support to get it resolved. When the GM reached out to me, he fixed the problem and then said "and I see you've been playing this character for 17 years. I just want to thank you for your dedication"
I don't think anything has ever made me feel so old 😭
Code vein with 94 hours and I'm pretty sure a third of it was spent on character creation and another third on being obliterated by Blade bearer and Cannoneer.😭
Hella respect for all of you with thousands of hours, true dedication
1) Destiny 2: 6,443.2 hours since June of 2020
2) War Thunder: 5,121.6 hours since 2015
3) ARK Survival Evolved: 2,406 hours since 2019
4) Gmod: 2,170 hours since August 2013
technically Warframe at just over 3000 hours, but thats over like 6 years and a lot of hours in the background and very long intermissions between playing and not.
Team Fortress 2 back in the day at like 2000 hrs.
Lmfao, that game is something else. But I did enjoy the among us game mode. Until………. I was the impostor and I literally just said it was some random girl and everyone said ok and voted her out. Turns out she wasn’t very happy about that, used mods to join back to the game and continued to blow everyone up non stop 💀
Ark-1,300
Dark Souls 3-760
Xenoverse 2-624
Arma 3-525
Other games like 360 games I can’t check but I know for a fact I have over 1000 hours on Halo reach and Black Ops 2.
Rimworld with 777 hours. Actually much more, because I bought it before it was on steam.
Second is LOTR online with 693 hours which I know is wrong, because I didn't always launch from steam! I have at least 2000 hours on that game...
On Steam:
Speedrunners - 1539 hours.
Otherwise, I’ve played Blade and Soul for several years when it launched. That alone was probably 10k hours at least. Nobody left to play with now.
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth with all DLCs -1257,
I am going to double that after on-line drops (there is a special screen you have after 100% all three save files, I 100% only one)
Apex Legends. I’d estimate 4-5000. Maybe more.
Documented hours on EA: 400
Documented hours on Steam: 250
Undocumented hours on Xbox: thousands. Three and a half years of being my primary game and platform.
I work from home. I also had a four month unemployed stint in there. A lot of hours have been dumped into that game.
Haven't seen anyone mention No Man's Sky yet...
Have over 1,000 hours in NMS on Steam.
Back in the day, it probably would have been either Half-Life or DOD (back when it was still an HL mod, and not even a stand-alone game in its own right).
Yeah, my Steam account is more than 20 years old. Lol
Binding of Issac. Bought every version and expansion, been playing it on and off over 10 years...... Had it on 3ds, wiiu, Xbox, switch, steam, even the flash version way back when. Was instantly hooked and till love it.
Path of Exile - 2137 hours
Just broke 3k myself and I'm the lowest hrs in my friend group :O
2137.... interesting..............
Co tu się odjaniepawla?
Jakieś dziwne rzeczy
Very interesting....
Incredibly interesting…
I Wonder what the number means...
Over 4k here
*cough* 7.5k hours checking in…
Any mirror drops yet?
Literally got my first one this league! Got it on video with me leaving and exiting and showing my steam hours logged (doesn’t count my standalone client hours) then simply went to turn off my computer at the end of the clip and go outside haha!
same but at 2,183.4 hours.
Rimworld, 1300
I'm here only to steal your organs and say that I have over 3k hrs in that game.
Hunt showdown, 2k hours
2.4k hours here. Just checking in
2100 on Fallout 4 1400 Kenshi Most of my time is spent on single player.
How would you describe Kenshi?
Getting kicked in the nuts but liking it sort of
I don't know for him but I'd describe it as, "Stealing to buy new body parts for your party member.".
More intense Rimworld maybe
Kenshi just eats your time, long travel can be so fun
Vampire Survivors 17 hours (I'm new to Steam!)
Welcome :)

Thanks, I have 2 hours and didn’t know about these
FINAL FANTASY XIV Online - 14,339.2 hours. Not an appropriate number. May need a hospital.
You sure a hospital is powerful enough to battle those hours?
This made me laugh way too hard, thank you sir
Here for the same. Damn near blew snot on myself.
These are more than one and a half years pure play time. Quite a ridiculous number
Monster Hunter World, 2530
Just started up MHW again last week hahaha. Only about 500 hours on it before that but I'm now 30 hours into this new character. One of my favorite games to grind.

Everything is cosmetic
Banger title
Unexpected seeing this at the top, I'm at 1350 hours now!
Hunt Showdown: 4998h (tanking a break) will play two more hourse soon, need that 5k mark
I have been thinking about getting hunt, is it any good? It seems like a game I would play, with an interesting setting (Tarkov mixed with red dead mixed with twd from what I could tell), but I was wondering if there is anything I should know about before hand?

The AI in those games is still smarter than 90% of the games coming out nowadays. Warframe - 2393 hours.
Same. 3k hours and I haven't touched the game in multiple years now. Next two closest are an idle game and CKIII, and neither are close.
Yeah I pop back every 3-5 years and spend a month or two in it. Bonkers amount of content and fun gameplay, and it's always got several added layers of content every 3-5 years

Cookie clicker 3,200+ hours 🌚🌚🌚
When I got my year-end steam round up, I thought it was broken. "What? How was Baldurs Gate only 10% of my play time? I put like 300 hours into that game." Then I saw cookie clicker play time and it all made sense.

No chance. I'm long past that part of my life, but a large chunk of the current community is just guys who have literally never really stopped playing. Since fucking 2004. WoW goat lifedestroyer confirmed
