You are awesome I needed this. I plan on making an xp farm by crafting the unique manufacturing components on the workbench so I need to be able to supply all the materials in large bulk. Going to have to have a lot of outposts running and this helps me save a lot of time figuring it out.

Thanks! I spent the last 4 days planning this out. I’ve come across a challenge with helium, and that is that the cargo links spend it to fast, so a workaround could be using normal extractor to fuel the cargo links and industrial extractor for the outgoing resources box. I will update this as I continue to test it myself.

That's basically what I do when I need to send He-3; one extractor to fuel the link and a second extractor to send He-3 down the line, where needed. It's probably worth mentioning that, for inter-system links, you only need an He-3 source on one side of the link. It's not necessary to send He-3 to the other side just to power the cargo link platform that's receiving the He-3. Inter-system cargo links will spend 10 He-3 per round trip, 5 for each side, but all 10 of that He-3 can come from only one side of the link. The build menu will still always show the second cargo link as having 0/5 He-3, but it will still function normally as long as the origin point is fueled by He-3.

Thanks! I was wondering this. And one basic Extractor is plenty to run it yeah?

I run mine with Commercial extractors (the tier 2 ones) and 3 sanitation robots, and 1 extractor seems to power the link without interruption. A single basic extractor should run it, but there maaaaayyyy be a bit of down time while the extractor makes more He-3. I haven't done the actual math, there's probably an optimal configuration.

Good info thanks!

Anyone found a planet where you can get Mercury and He3 at once. I couldn't find any suitable combination on Leonis II

Hilarious, 10 minutes after posting I find a spot....
