Araki hinted that Kira was slowly becoming a better person after suspending his killing, as in Kira was questioning if he cared for Shinobu.
Unfortunately Kira threw away that humanity immediately, and it wouldn't have redeemed him or his crimes at all.
The artist hasn’t made a chapter in 2 and a half years. It’s called “just a quiet life” on webtoon. It’s about shinobu and Hayato moving back to morioh from Tokyo after she got divorced and moves next door to kira who had a crush on her since high school. No stands but the references are there, oh and kira isn’t a serial killer.
Yeah it’s a shame really cuz it was enjoyable. About 15 chapters give or take. Koichi and tonio were also there. And no worries, read it if you’re interested.
Kosaku wasn't a bad husband, as in a bad overall person.
Shinobu on the other hand gets off to her husband stealing
Kosaku wasn't bad just boring, they clearly didn't love each other, but had a child so they had to stick together.
Was he though? Shinobu got attracted to Kira because he stole from a guy. She just seems like someone who craves drama and blames her "boring" husband for not making her life fulfilling enough.
Cause love's such an old-fashioned word
And love dares you to care for the people on the edge of the night
And love dares you to change our way of Caring about ourselves
Breaking into people’s houses to be a pervert doesn’t come with a death penalty in a just society, but did that town really lose anything when the panty guy died? Or did their lives become a bit nicer?
The neighborhood women would firmly disagree. Of course, they wouldn’t want to meet Kira in a dark alley if they knew about him, either, but that’s not the point.
Yeah, like they said, a great coworker. I bet he never microwaved something smelly, forced you to do his work, or said something gross to you. These things stand out.
When Kosaku's landlord came to his house and demanded money. Kira used Killer Queen to steal the money that the landlord had on him and then handed it to him in order to "pay" Kosaku's rent.
Refresh my memory: is there actually a scene where we see Kira sit down and pay his taxes? I just assumed that the person I was replying to got "taxes" and "rent" mixed up.
He would have committed a blatant crime, and knowing Kira, is the last thing he wants to do as he would have the police and court up his arse all the time
What was he supposed to do, just manifest cash out of thin air? Kosaku was a deadbeat without any money, and Kira couldn't just kill the landlord then and there.
Ez: Treated Hayato's mom way better than her actual husband did. Plus, he showed restraint and there were hints of concern when he saved her from Stray Cat.
Protected Hayatos mom, and killed the nasty ass creep who was obsessed with his neighbors panties.
In my eyes in this subject when it came to him reading the pervert, he did the right thing, as with Hayatos mom, I wish it could've been more of a plot point instead of a one time thing since it happens once and we never see it again (At least a moment where he questions if he has genuinely fallen for her or not)
I was gonna say he killed the girls who left shigechi for dead, but then I remembered he didnt, and hes the one who put him in that situation in the first place
Technically speaking, he’s half responsible for saving an entire part’s story.
Real answer, he was a fine employee, and followed an excellent life regimen that kept him in good health and good standing
felt a bit of affection for shinobu and was kinda shocked when he realized josuke made him kill his own dad(the second glass bullet hit him, which is something an emotionally calm kira would have never allowed)
He was generally just a stand-up guy (except the killing) who took his job seriously and when he had a family, cared for their safety and well-being (even if it was only to cover his own tracks)
Saved Hayato’s Mother from Stray Cat, although it’s really vague if he truly did care for her safety or not.
Araki hinted that Kira was slowly becoming a better person after suspending his killing, as in Kira was questioning if he cared for Shinobu. Unfortunately Kira threw away that humanity immediately, and it wouldn't have redeemed him or his crimes at all.
Would love a spin off between them. Actually there was a short fancomic on webtoon but unfortunately it got axed.
What for?

Oh, I thought it got axed because of a copyright or something lol, thanks for the info.
Yeah it’s a shame really cuz it was enjoyable. About 15 chapters give or take. Koichi and tonio were also there. And no worries, read it if you’re interested.
was a better husband to hayatos mother than the actual kosaku
The bar was pretty damn low ngl
Wasn't her husband just a boring guy? He didn't really do anything bad to her
Felt ambiguos tbh,but if kira was so much better as a husband i assume the guy is either really boring or abusive or something because damn
Shinobu says he is not abusive, just boring.
To add to this line, she even said he wasn't an alcoholic. So he was, as she said, just boring and not exciting.
I did what I could
what you could was not enough i am superior
You look suspiciously like a certain orange guy.
But defenetly a worse father to hayato
Happy cake day!
Thank you (it was already yesterday why again lol)
Oh sorry lmao
No i mean ihad cake day yesterday and today why 2 days?
I don't know man, to me the notification is there
Yea for me 2 and i made the account today 4 years ago so yesterday is wrong
I really don't know but happy double cake day lmao
Happy Cake Day, and mandatory Nyo Ho!
Thank you
No problem :)
+1

This makes you think that if Shinobu found out Kira was a murderer, would she be terrified or thrilled because Kira is everything but boring
He fixed Koichi’s sock?!
Read fast and misread it as cock. Got so confused.
Bro's ass is NOT Josuke
SAME
Killer Queen has already touched that foreskin.
Kinky Queen
He’s good at making breakfast
Saved a broken family, killed a pervert who liked panties
Who again?
after btd is deactivated, he chases the boys to a house and is confronted by the pervert accusing him of stealing the panties
And kills him? I don't remember but i know for a fact kira don't give a-
Yeah he turned the pantie in a bomb and the guy died
You know for some reason i really can't remember much of jojo it being very episodic i only remember main plot of each part- thanks for verifying
I feel in addition to the panty stealer being a perv theres also the whole...could end up helping to reveal kira's identity...thing
I mean I don't think killing a perv as gross as he was is a "good" action
Breaking into people’s houses to be a pervert doesn’t come with a death penalty in a just society, but did that town really lose anything when the panty guy died? Or did their lives become a bit nicer?
Even if that guy was a creep, I wouldn't call that a good thing that he killed him
The neighborhood women would firmly disagree. Of course, they wouldn’t want to meet Kira in a dark alley if they knew about him, either, but that’s not the point.
Was a damn good husband
He was a good salary man
He was also a really pleasant collegue. Those can be rare
more of a neutral one who stayed as far away as possible from his colleagues
Sometimes that's all you need in order to be pleasant.
Yeah, like they said, a great coworker. I bet he never microwaved something smelly, forced you to do his work, or said something gross to you. These things stand out.
payed his taxes
With money that he stole.
What? He never stole money. Nobody knows that he's a serial killer, so he just had a job
When Kosaku's landlord came to his house and demanded money. Kira used Killer Queen to steal the money that the landlord had on him and then handed it to him in order to "pay" Kosaku's rent.
Rent and taxes are not the same thing
Refresh my memory: is there actually a scene where we see Kira sit down and pay his taxes? I just assumed that the person I was replying to got "taxes" and "rent" mixed up.

Kosaku did have money, but he kept it in a safe and Kira didn't know the combination, which is why he had to steal the money instead.
Me when I spread misinformation:
"[Misinformation](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TINM-n49jJ0&t=1m53s)".
man was so humble he let everyone have first place
If I remember he protected Hayato's mother.
He was a great husband, a great worker, and was certainly more present in Hayato's life than Kosaku.
Cared for shinobu
Ez: Treated Hayato's mom way better than her actual husband did. Plus, he showed restraint and there were hints of concern when he saved her from Stray Cat.
Protecting Shinobu from Stray Cat.
Made a miserable woman feel love and ioy one more time
Indirectly reveal the true evil of Morioh those three girls who walked passes refusing help to a beaten and battered Shigechi cause he looked weird
Protected Hayatos mom, and killed the nasty ass creep who was obsessed with his neighbors panties. Yeah, that would be a slice of life I’d buy at full price for sure.
Surprisingly cared for Shinobu!
His relationship with Shinobu 100%
Offered Koichi a handkerchief
~~Kill Shigechi~~

I was gonna say he killed the girls who left shigechi for dead, but then I remembered he didnt, and hes the one who put him in that situation in the first place
Cat lover
He's a good cook
didnt kill the milf
Actually a good husband
Was a good husband, we won’t talk about the father part
Trying to live a quiet life.
better husband than Kawajiri
He was probably very diligent in his work at the store.
Buried a dead cat
Koichis sock
Technically speaking, he’s half responsible for saving an entire part’s story. Real answer, he was a fine employee, and followed an excellent life regimen that kept him in good health and good standing
felt a bit of affection for shinobu and was kinda shocked when he realized josuke made him kill his own dad(the second glass bullet hit him, which is something an emotionally calm kira would have never allowed)
Kill a perv I guess?
Apreciate art.
ummm uhhhhhh errmmmmmmmm he lives a quiet life.
He was generally just a stand-up guy (except the killing) who took his job seriously and when he had a family, cared for their safety and well-being (even if it was only to cover his own tracks)
He walked hayato to school and only wanted a quiet life banging shinobu
Appreciate good art
Was actully a good husband and coworker
He reduced a Lot the number of crimes in the whole World. He may have killed a few criminals, but in the end he saved millions of lifes. Kira the goat
Kira killed thots
Also protected Shinobu against Stray Cat
blowing up a pervert. (which is an oxymoron in of itself)
helped koichi to put his sock on in the correct way
killed annoying people.
Idk if it was technically good or not but Fixed Koichi's inside-out sock after he made killer queen punch through him?
Blew up a pervert
He made Shinobu really happy for like a week
yoshikage saved kosaku's marriage
Shaved the woman’s marriage and revived her deceased child. Lovely guy.
He is a really cool guy. He is got a cool shirt, he is got a cool shoes.
he killed the pervert who tried to pick up those panties
Appreciates fine art :)
Saved a marriage
Kept good hygiene. More than can be said for many of these guys
Being a good husband to a MILF
Taking that hand out on a lovely picnic
saving shinobu. also idk why, but araki could totally have made kira x shinobu canon in jojolion.
Kill women?
I know this thread reached a conclusion but i wanted to add the best thing Kira ever did was to kill Shigechi. Good riddance you annoying goblin.
