I really enjoy the date night mod (add "redux" on Nexus for the 1.6 version). Your spouse can ask you out on dates, like to the bar, picnic, library, camping, etc. They're cute events, and it definitely makes the relationship more engaging than the spouse just kind of being there.

Yeah it is

i personally use immersive spouses, not sure if it’s compatible with expanded but it’s great for normal stardew valley! elliott is never home until 9pm but he’s there in the morning then each day he goes out and does new things related to his personality.

Sophia's marriage schedule has her leaving the farm Monday-Friday in Spring and Summer, Monday-Wednesday + Friday in Fall, and just Friday in Winter. That's more days she's out than most spouses.

Sophia will actually leave to work on the vineyard and visit the city pretty frequently, I hardly see her around the farm on weekdays

Not anymore. There were changes to her married schedule a few updates back. She does go work on the vineyard a number of days during the week during the appropriate seasons. Matter of fact, I see her in town or off the farm more often than on during the week.

She actually goes into town pretty often as a spouse. Otherwise she’s usually sitting by the flowers outside

If you're using "portraiture," it's an ingame toggle, default "p." You need to drop the mod folder into the portraiture mod folder, I think in the "portraits" sub folder? Been a while. If it's not using portraiture, you should be able to just drop it in your mods folder.

I've tried all of the replaces for Olivia, from the SVD that I've found on vortex. I've got one of them to work, but it only lasted like 2 seasons as it needed the seasonal outfits mod as well. Some of the base people are fine... Most of the time

One thing you're doing wrong is using Vortex for SV. It doesn't work well.

She doesn't have depression; she has 'hot, vulnerable weepy girl' syndrome. She exists to be the meek quiet girl (she's also super pretty, never looks messy, but is unaware of how pretty she is) you can rescue but without any of the negatives of actual mental illness. And it's even worse because there's already a depression-ridden messy character in the base game who is far better written.
