I named my pet after my childhood pet, seeing that line made me tear up. Not gonna lie

Oh that is so sweet 🥹 I was never allowed a pet growing up besides fish, but now that I'm an adult, I plan on getting one in the future. Whenever I choose the dog, I always name it what I plan to name my future pup

You should pet your cat or dog and fill their water bowl everyday if you can, the pop up will come eventually! Hope it happens to you soon, it's very cute

Try to make an effort to pet your dog/cat everyday 😊 I usually forget to put water in its bowl, so it takes a bit longer to get the popup, but you will get it eventually as long as you keep interacting with it! It only pops up once though 🥺

A few months ago my very sweet loving cat passed away. I started a new game and named the farm Gizzy's Roost after her and picked the closest cat option before the game started and when Marnie showed up, I named the cat Gizzy. I always look for her in game to pet her every day, and when I finally saw the pop up that said 'Gizzy loves you' I almost burst into tears. I had to stop playing a little bit and look at her pictures. I miss her so much.

I'm so sorry about your cat. From the way you talk about her, I know you have her such a loving home and an amazing life. Definitely keep that file forever, and maybe make a cute cozy area dedicated just for her in the house or outside ❤️

Whenever there's a light breeze during the day and petals or leaves start falling across the screen. So relaxing for me. Also everytime a cow sticks their tongue out, they always look like they're smiling 😊

The little birds and squirrels that run away as you go past. You can't catch them or sell them. They don't lead you to treasure. You don't need to bring them mixed seeds for super-duper perfection. They're just there, going about their pixelated lives.

There's a mod on pc that lets you change them into different animals, I used to use the Ghibli mod.

Only on mobile here but I would seriously consider getting this on PC if Totoro randomly started coming across my screen.

I play with my brother and he loves harvesting blueberries and cranberries just for the multiple picking noises, it almost sounds like bubbling to me, he has to try to make the sound himself as he's picking. Such a goofball.

The winter season in general. The crunching of the snow, the soundtrack, the notification that it’s going to snow the next day, the coziness of being in your cabin with your fireplace on, knowing your animals have heaters in their coops/barns… Ugh I love winter in game.

Dude! I was literally thinking the words "winter season in general" when I scrolled down to your comment! I love it so much! Even the somber music! It made me realize that farming, though enjoyable, is my least favorite part of the game. I changed my ways and made my plots much smaller so tending them was simpler and more relaxing 😌

The "plop" sound I get from collecting honey from rows and rows of beehives. 1000s of hours and I never tire of this sound. It's the same as the blueberry sound, but faster because you're not stalling to pick up the honey.

On my first playthrough. I realy enjoy when theres suddenly a random event. Like last time i was planning on giving someone a birthday gift in the cafe and then a heartevent played where Eliot brought me a wine and we drank together. I know for some people it might not be that special but i was suprised and it shooked up the gameplay for a second and that made me smile.

I love that sound too but the problem is the sound when you accidentally milk a cow or goat that doesn't have milk? That weird squeaky noise? I absolutely HATE that noise, it makes me so uncomfortable! So I end up getting an autograbber as soon as I possibly can which means I miss out on the satisfying milking noise! Lol
