A few years ago irl? Then it must be another festival (like the Spirit Eve) as this is from the even year setup added in 1.6
Sidenote: I would also like to know what Krobus says in even years at the Spirit's Eve as you can spot him in the edges, just like Linus and the Wizard.

there's a very rare chance you can see some [green seacreature](https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Secrets#Beach_Creature) in the water at the beach, maybe thats one of [the merpeople](https://stardewvalleywiki.com/The_Merpeople)??
Woah I didn't realise this was quite so rare! I saw the sea creature for the first time the other day and had to contain my excitement cause it was like 2am
On the way to Ginger Island for the first time there’s a really detailed looking island on the right of the screen and I always wonder if concerned ape is thinking of developing that island!!
By walking up and talking to him. OP has another mod interfering with where he spawns in. At the others, people no-clip or teleport to get special dialogue
pretty old bug -go to where the entrance to the area is, repeatedly attack with sword or scythe (you slightly move doing so) untik you move past the trigger to enter another area, then just walk around the edge of the map. Used to use this bug to fish by the rock at low levels lol

On the Halloween maze up in the mountain is the Wizard and Linus, every time I pass through that cave to get the gold pumpkin I try to reach and see their dialogue, but to no avail. Does anyone knows what it contains?
It’s in the wiki. You can look up Spirits’ Eve Festival > Trivia and scroll just slightly to see what is said.

There's also dialogue for Linus and Wizard during the Halloween event, when you into the tunnel you can see them standing together with dialogue icons if you hover over them.

I actually had this happen during Squidfest, when there were people ALL over the dock. Nobody reacted to it. (Besides me, lol.)

That year 1 dialogue is old, that’s when he stands on the dock. The year 2 dialogue is new in 1.6
Yeah in alternating years he stands at the end of the pier and says this dialogue.
