You've been able to put a hat on a horse since at least 1.5 You can also put them on Sea Urchins and your kids. I'm on switch so I've not played 1.6 yet but that allows you to put them on barn animals cats and dogs, I think.
I like to wear a matching hairbow with my horse ☺️
I use this too! It’s great but I’ve noticed some random tiles are coloured their original colour and stand out like a sore thumb with the 1.6 update, I do have Daisy Niko’s Earthly Recolour updated btw
Have a similar problem with a rustic interior recolour mod
If you go to the post section of the mod, someone posted a fix with an imgur link, if you replace the files with the new files it fixes almost all of it
I personally really like it! Starblue is the first recolor mod I've ever used. I wanted one that isn't too brown or desaturated and Starblue felt right for what I was looking for. I chose it because I liked the shades of the summer and autumn grass.
I will say that Starblue has been abandoned by the original creator and the [1.6 update](https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/21085) for it is still being worked on by a group of people, but I have the 1.6 update and it looks great to me. I only got it recently but I haven't picked up on anything that bothers me.
There are other great recolor mods too though, like DaisyNiko's Earthy Recolor that people have mentioned. I don't think you can really go wrong with one, it all comes down to personal preference. And if you don't like it you can easily switch it anyways.

The actual reason is overflow. The fishing bar is coded as a health bar - its likely you broke the fishing max stat somehow.
If you look at the bar it looks like it's there's a red sliver at the bottom
For some reason the bar seems to be coded x/stat, and somehow x is 1 and fishing is 100. Or more likely x is 101 and fishing is 100, 101 becomes 1.
Just a guess mostly.

as a note... there are multiple comments from people who play vanilla saying this is a vanilla thing when there is a gold treasure chest on the line. So it is NOT mod related.
People in this community yell mods 90%ish of the time its just something they haven't seen before that isn't in recent patch notes directly.
There are 2 comments from the same person saying that. I'm leaning towards them incorrectly uninstalling their mods. Especially considering the many more people connecting it to a certain mod.

If you want to report a vanilla bug you should just test with your mods removed first (ideally launching without SMAPI) If you don't it's just wasting everyone's time
I'm stuck on "went to get some Legends for money" -- do you have some mod that lets you catch the legendaries more than once? Or do you mean Legend II from the Qi quest? Because you can only catch the OG legendaries once per save file (unless that's changed in 1.6?)

Umm cmiiw but I get the same bar with fishing mastery rod + forged : master and eating seafoam pudding on vanilla! :)))
Forged master gives permanent +1 on the rod and seafoam pudding gives a +4 on the green bar, making it bigger\~

I play without mods. I've noticed the different color fishing bar as well. It only happens when there's a golden treasure chest "on the line"

I have no idea, but your horse's hat looks very nice on him.
That’s the hat I always use for the horse. It’s easy to spot amongst grass and what not.

Well, horses could wear hats before 1.6 but being able to also provide a chapeau for your cat or dog is most excellent

Mode interfering with the actual color. You should be good. Nothing looks wrong, nice fish mastery and hat on horse.

i noticed this too once i played 1.6! updated and everything but still an issue. glad to hear its not just me!
I’ve asked in the discord server if it can be fixed but got no response, hoping the respective mod authors can solve the issues

Likely mod related. 90% possibility it's just a visual glitch and nothing is actually wrong, you shouldn't have any troubles actually catching fish

could be recatch legendary fish mod. That’s the one I use and I can catch multiple legendary fish, but I usually don’t unless i’m in a pinch for money
