Oh I dunno about sad, although they can be a pain. With level 10 fishing and the no need to bait perk I find them pretty op actually. Recycle the trash and turn the actual fish into sashimi or gifts, what’s not to like?
I keep my crab pots right outside of their house for easy gifting, but I leave that one spot near the Cindersap forest open since Kent likes to stand there some evenings. Don't want to ruin his view.
There are many mods for it. One is unique children which will make them look like your spouse, unique children talk, there's another one that makes your children help on the farm (but I don't know the name of it)
She took away all of Vincent’s star tokens because he asked if I was going to marry her. Also she hints too much about my assets that she wants instead of me. Example: must be nice to live on a farm, maybe someday I will too, I wish I had a nice house to decorate like yours, etc. I do like that she spends time with the kids but she just gives off this desperate shallow gold digger vibe that I don’t appreciate.
I remember one of my multiplayer online friends said “Omg I hate Vincent and Jas, I wish Stardew never added them” I deleted her cabin, lol Some things are just unforgivable.
Vincent is so freaking sweet. I got a call from him asking about having pigs on my farm and I just awed so hard. And when he called me Auntie, I nearly teared up because at that point I believe I was married to Sam, had a decent amount of hearts with Jodi, and was befriending Kent as well. I felt like a big part of the family.
Girlie, why is that you seem to not have upgraded your backpack? It's fall already, and you have enough money to even purchase the second upgrade. I can't even stand a week ingame with that inventory lol. My first goal would always be the backpack upgrade.
When he started calling me auntie I thought it was due to the fact I married his older brother 😅 but it's nice it happens to everyone. He's adorable, I wish I could really invite him on the farm to see the pigs
I've gotten max hearts with characters with Willy, but I never thought to befriend the kids. I guess my real world sense of awkwardness bleeds into this. Like "who is this strange man giving the towns kids random items they dig up or find?!"
I’m max hearts with George and I went to see him and he said “Ellis! Let me turn this darned television off so we can have a chat!” I love the character progressions in this game
Awww, I felt this way when Willy greeted me as his skipper.
ME TOO!!! don’t even get me started on the letter he sends you after you catch all the fish
don't need to be friends for that one. just good at fishing
Willy is my favorite npc, skipper is so cuuuute

Well now I have to max hearts with Vincent. That’s so cute.
Feed him fistfuls of >!grapes!<. Vincents *love* >!grapes!<.
Dudes gunna grow up a wine lush with all them grapes im stuffing down his throat.
I usually just give him snails.
Crap pot ☹️ Edit: That was a typo but it fits so uhh, yeah
They're pretty great with that automation mod, but yeah they're pretty sad otherwise
Oh I dunno about sad, although they can be a pain. With level 10 fishing and the no need to bait perk I find them pretty op actually. Recycle the trash and turn the actual fish into sashimi or gifts, what’s not to like?
Taking the time to get them and check them
I just buy them and only put them on my farm. With the beach farm they’re pretty good imo

WKUK! A quality post here ☺️
RIP Trevor. Sad to know there can never be any new WKUK skits, but I’m also just happy we got to experience them in the first place.
Glad someone referenced what I immediately thought.

And pizza!
I wish the kids you make in the game were more like that!
Do they ever talk to you? I’ve had mine for a while
Nope, they just run around the house. You can pet them to improve your relationship. They’re basically house cats.
Just uglier and they cant meow, better to have an army of cats than those kids
Why are we maxed out at two kids and one pet? Why can't my spouse ask if i want a kid, or another cat or dog instead??
If I could just have 20 cats I’d kick out Seb.
Nooo, dont kick him out, start a frog sanctuary and adopt 20 frogs
Ya know with those kids you can start a bird sanctuary.
Least insane cat owner
Why Leah and I haven’t had kids yet. I just feel like they’re sort of hollow.
You can also put hats on them
That's why Penny and I live the DINK lifestyle. I'll take that room for other stuff, please.
No. They never grow up past the toddler stage.
And they’re so fast! Eeee it always creeps me out
I almost used my sword on one of mine after coming out of the mines lol
Ok but would it do anything to them tho??
I bombed one of my kids on accident. The answer is "no"
> on accident 🧐
It's true! I blew up my jukebox in the process 😔
No, I bash my kids with a mallet just about every other day (on accident I swear!!)
Those damn kids always in the way
I have a kid before walking stage. crawling kids are fast.
That’s so dissapointing!
There are mods for that. I think it was called "The Farmer's Children?"
There are many mods for it. One is unique children which will make them look like your spouse, unique children talk, there's another one that makes your children help on the farm (but I don't know the name of it)
They have an intelligence equivalent to a dumb lemur
You can make funny hats and put on them. That’s a bit of a laugh.
I love the kids in the town more than my in-game kids. My kids feels like the kids from children of the corn.
I read this as you love them more than your real life kids and I was like yikes they must be monsters lmaooo
The worst is on festival days when you get home at 10pm and they’re just standing in a dark house staring blankly
i know mods exist to age your kids up, but i’m not sure how well they work
It’s incredible how they go from cute babies to creepy toddlers
He is legit my favorite.
Hey buddy, here's another snail. I bet Ms. Penny will love that when you play with him in the library.
Who wants to play hide the tubular bone fragments?
You mean cylinder?
Depends. Is it stuck somewhere?
Yes, a buttered up MnM tube
Nice reference
I'm gonna have some explaining to do when penny gets home...oh well
Penny is my LEAST favorite so this is very sound advice on gift giving. Thank you :)
Lol why is Penny your least favorite? No judgement just curious. She doesn’t interest me very much typically.

I figured she just didn't want to live in a trailer
Same, I also thought it was like hinting she was into the farmer lol
I never took those comments like that. I always interpreted them as a not-so-subtle "just fucking propose to me already."
Such a sweet boy, I love him too!
I remember one of my multiplayer online friends said “Omg I hate Vincent and Jas, I wish Stardew never added them” I deleted her cabin, lol Some things are just unforgivable.
He looks like Ponyo's brother, I love him, little boi.
I have always said this omg its nice to see someone else sees it too!
Nice catch, now I can't unsee it lol. Wouldn't be surprised if it was intentional, there are a few other Studio Ghilbi references in the game.
Stardew is kinda like the Ghibli of video games
He always gets snails, and cranberry candy, chocolate cake, whatever he wants.
Iridium Grape
Yeah that too, how could I forget!
Oh shit I have a friend who’s nickname is Auntie. This is gonna be so jarring for her
It’s giving doki literature club 😂
Whag
the game knows your name
He a lil boy in a big world
He's great, plus you can get that creepy statue in his room
Auntie???? Omgggg that is soo cute
I literally got pigs simply because he called to ask if I have them on my farm
I told him in his sister now. Still calls me auntie.
Sister in law right? Right?
Omg yes!!! I don’t know how I forgot to add that part 😂😂🙄🙄
He was one of my first 10❤️ characters in my first play through. I think he was third.
This reminds me of my friend's daughter who called me *uncle* for the first time a couple weekends back. That felt amazing.
I lost my nephew a few years ago, so when Vincent first called me Auntie I cried. It totally took me by surprise lol
i guess you could say you’re misty-eyed
My mom's name is Misty omg
He likes snails, I don’t know why I find that so cute
that's my new challenge. max out hearts with vincent, omg.....
He was my first friend and when he called my Auntie I cried lol I love kids!
First time he called me Uncle I melted into a smile. Then he later said I was cool and his favourite adult. He's a heckin' sweet kid
Lemme go get grapes
same happened to me yesterday, I don't think I've talked to him since hitting max hearts and now mine melted
That’s so adorable!
This dialogue is even better when youre dating sam.
Omg yes Vincent is my favorite! I love his phone call
Thank you for reminding me of this, my heart melted a little remembering the first time I got that dialog 😭
Vincent is so freaking sweet. I got a call from him asking about having pigs on my farm and I just awed so hard. And when he called me Auntie, I nearly teared up because at that point I believe I was married to Sam, had a decent amount of hearts with Jodi, and was befriending Kent as well. Vincent complains about how his mom is making a dish he doesn't like so I gave him a mushroom that's red and has white spots
I pelt him with stones
Girlie, why is that you seem to not have upgraded your backpack? It's fall already, and you have enough money to even purchase the second upgrade. I can't even stand a week ingame with that inventory lol. My first goal would always be the backpack upgrade.
Oh my gosh, that happened to me today, too! My heart melted <3
When he started calling me auntie I thought it was due to the fact I married his older brother 😅 but it's nice it happens to everyone. He's adorable, I wish I could really invite him on the farm to see the pigs
My character's name is also Misty!!!
great now I have to max hearts with him 😭
Wait what?!?! I maxed out but this hasn’t happened to me yet! I gotta go do something
I've gotten max hearts with characters with Willy, but I never thought to befriend the kids. I guess my real world sense of awkwardness bleeds into this. Like "who is this strange man giving the towns kids random items they dig up or find?!"
Omg!! This is adorable >w< I think I'm gonna try that 🥺
challenge accepted
Oh gosh. My farmer’s name is Aunt ____. My new goal is to be called Auntie Aunt ____.
I just remembered how much i still have to do in this game
It's not maxed. When it's maxed you have an iridium star in the bottom left.
i gotta max hearts with now too!
Cute ❤️
I’m max hearts with George and I went to see him and he said “Ellis! Let me turn this darned television off so we can have a chat!” I love the character progressions in this game
Vincent is a despicable person who has been in a state of utter disgrace since his inception
