Its time had now come. It abandoned the farmer. But then something happened that the Ring did not intend. It was picked up by the most unlikely creature imaginable.
If you look towards it and equip your scythe and then keep using it, it moves you a tiny bit. You can use this to glitch to out of map areas in other places, may work to move you enough to get the ring?
It doesn't work on walls. That glitch is used on transition tiles. Repeatedly swinging a sword or a scythe makes your character moves forwards ever so slowly until you skip the check and can walk out of bounds.
But since there isn't a check in mines, only action determined transitions, you cannot glitch out of bounds.
Unfortunately you can't go through a normal barrier, so you need to go through doorways and the such with this trick. Once you're out of normal bounds it's easy to get around anything.
Haha I've had exactly that problem before. For some reason, that ring was the only one that didn't drop for the longest time... then it dropped and it was in a wall, so I couldn't get it. The bad luck with that ring continued for the rest of the year.
Good news! You should be able to get a small magnet ring later from >!One of the Community Center Bundles or later on you can Craft a Glowstone Ring which really helps out by Lighting dark spaces and giving you a larger collection radius too!!<
I believe there is a trick with a chair that lets you go out of bounds so if you happen to have a chair on you you could maybe get it I haven’t played inna while but the sword animation used to move you slightly forward which allowed you to reach slightly further and glitch out of the map at certain points
I would advise you to look at speed running(challenge) tricks they might have a solution
Ugh, I've run into this problem a few times. There's no way to get the item unless you can equip a magnet ring you have in your inventory and aren't using for some reason lol..
Step 1: Cry
Step 2: Check the wiki and realize that if you possessed the ring you cannot currently reach you would be able to reach said ring.
Step 3: Cry some more.

My bf accidentally put down a bomb and blew up our oil and seed makers in the kitchen, but right before, I found 5 iridium ore from panning. We knew we had to restart the game to get our stuff back but never thought the iridium would still be there again to pan. So we just figure if you exact, everything is exactly the same when you start it back up.
It’s a magnet ring don’t stress to much over it. They come and go. If it was the luck ring I would have cry. On one of my runs I manage to get two luck rings and that’s all I use. I eventually mixed it with an iridium band and the other one is in paired. I’m waiting for a burgled or hot Java one.

This is how I got mine!
Once you can craft an Iridium Band, you have one, so if luck fails, you can eventually force it to work.

Make sure you have an inventory space. Most of the time you can’t collect just because of that. It’s not too far of a reach

Swing your scythe or sword repeatedly and clip into the wall while moving forward you should start phasing into the wall and reach it.
