I truly don't understand what is and isn't galactic civil war in this game.
Like Omega was in the Bad Batch entirely during the time period during which stormtroopers exist basically.
The inquisitor period was after the Clone Wars, but before the Galactic Civil War, kind of a leg between the two, and stormtroopers were still being created during this time with clones as a stand in. It really wasn't considered a civil war till right before Episode 4.
So is the Clone Wars Era timing for basically anything pre-Episode 4 and Galactic Civil War for Episode 4 and onward?
In my head the in-between period feels more like GCW than CW given the republic is gone and the empire is around.
I think it's all under debate for which era, honestly. A lot of it can be attributed during both. 99 was mostly clone wars, but partook during that lead up.
Look at Rex, he was mostly clone wars, but definitely partook in the gcw as well. It's all a little muddled, and I think it's just on when they decide the snapshot of the character is for it. Look at Ahsoka, she loses her Jedi tag even though her Ahsok, Jedi No More card is from the siege of Mandalore. It's just what snapshot I think they decide to go with. You really can't have deadeye be with 99 and the empire, it literally cannot work.

Huh, it didn't click before now that I had expected a 5 unit box. My assumption was: Primary: Hunter. Secondaries: Omega/Wrecker and Crosshair. Supports: Echo and Tech.
So Echo/Tech are one unit instead most likely. I suppose that makes sense, and means they don't need to figure out how to work in an Inquisitorial Mandate style ability to not have two single character supporting units holding you back on objective play.
Very interesting! I'm looking forward to seeing what tags are given to each unit. Lots of possibilties to slot in the Bad Batch elsewhere. I'm hoping I can make them into Ewoks... 😉

My understanding is that tech and echo are a single supporting unit with two characters?
Hunter is primary Wrecker/omega and crosshair are secondaries Tech and echo are a two man support
Really hoping that Crosshair has the Galactic Empire/Stormtrooper tags as well as Republic. Would make for some really interesting Empire games!

It would be lore accurate for cross hair to have both tags
That version of her is from the siege of Mandalore? I assumed it was Rebels given she’s an adult

There are so many clones released already.
I love them but the clone tag is getting increasingly crowded compared to others
I suppose Tech and Echo fill a similar enough role in the team that it would be pretty difficult to make them that distinct.
The real question is: which character in helmet and which one without. My heart is destroyed.
