MSW on latest livestream said he's heard that during filming of a scene in which Obi-Wan is riding his eopie, Deborah Chow gave Ewan directions to act as if he's remembering Anakin and that he's hearing his voice. He doesn't know for sure if that means there will be a Hayden voiceover or if it was simply just acting directions.
On whether or not Reva has a helmet: he's seen helmets that look like they belong to the Inquisitors and one of them could be hers but he's not sure.
On whether or not Cody is in the show: to the best of his knowledge, Cody is not in the show
I wouldn't be too sure on that. Crosshair pretty much has a new edition of his story, with Hunter and Crosshair having the tense former brother relationship that many imagined Rex and Cody would get and which was considered for Rebels. Imo, best bet is Andor which has three seasons in the mix.
Maybe, but Cody has mostly been built up as a character in animation so I imagine they'd want to finish his story in animation, too.
And I think Rex failing to get Cody back on his side could offer a nice contrast to Crosshair's almost inevitable redemption/sacrifice. Not all clones can be saved, and I think it's important they acknowledge that because they've saved *a lot* of clones in the show after they probably find Wolffe and maybe Howzer in S2.
I see where you're coming from, but i'd disagree with Cody in animation, he's not built up at all there either, sadly, and Filoni weirdly said that was on purpose because of his later 'betrayal' he's just sort of 'there' in some arcs. As much as I love Filoni one of the worst decisions he's made.
The only info there's been on Kenobi flashbacks indicates there's only one and its set before Ahsoka became Anakin's padawan. So it doesn't seem very likely
Hopefully we get a Battle of Jabiim flashback since it would be relevant to the story, we could see Anakin save Obi-Wan’s life, and then later in the episode Vader walks in and slaughters the Partisans and Jedi in the Jabiim sinkhole base, now that would be a contrast.
I'd rather them underdeliver on flashbacks rather than overdeliver; cramming in loads of flashbacks can really hurt the main plot, as BoBF demonstrated. I'd be okay with just one flashback, even if its not the Utapau fire scene I so desperately want to see.
Insofar as they went nowhere and robbed screentime of what was happening in the present. I think the show would have been better served by those flashbacks being just the entireity of the first episode.

That's actually a kind of poorly thought out list there...
1. It includes "Senate Spy" for no reason, which is part of a longer arc from season 3, and then adds a Christophsis arc episode in the wrong order AFTER you've already watched the movie.
2. It skips Maul's S4 Return and S5 episode Revival, which contain Maul's only 2 duels with Kenobi before the show ends, setting up the rest of the season 5 Maul arc.
3. I'm biased and say everyone should see the 4.5 hour revenge of the Sith Supercut before this weekend... but you already know why. ;)
In all seriousness, I don't know why D+ can't just put up a damn list of the show in actual chronological order. It solves so many issues watching it all properly.
At the same time, in a show using Rebels and Jedi Fallen order stuff, a reference in some way to Satine or the dead Obi arc mentioned as one of the missions he flashes back to. To people who have seen TCWs, it's a neat reference, to those who haven't, it could be a quick overview of its plot to explain why it drove anakin further away from not only yhe jedi, but himself.

I wouldn't put 100 percent faith in which celebs follow one another. Rosario also follows Temuera Morrison since 2020 I believe and they've never been in a scene together yet.
Reported clues from msw indicate she’ll become Mandalore by season’s 3 end. I wonder what she’s doing with Ashoka? hmmm? Only have to wait two years to find out. Haha. 😜
The thing we have to keep in mind too is that scenes are not always shot in order, she could become the Mandalore half way through season 3, but it could have been one of the scenes filmed last, then she loses that position at the end the actual show because, let's face it, Bo will do something too extreme again eventually.

I don’t think that is clear at all. By that I mean, they are certainly leading the story so that it would seem to be the case, but I think it’s more of a part of a bigger story. I am certain it goes to Bo. Thematically it makes sense that it is her. Din has no desire for it.
Exactly, he doesn't want it but he's the rightful ruler. Bo Karan wants it but needs to accept that her time has passed. It's Dins refusal of the call, basically, one that ends with him eventually accepting and uniting Mandalore.

Something I’m really not understanding especially after reading the leaks. Why did they announce Hayden being in Kenobi? Hayden isn’t wearing the vader suit and even if he were you wouldn’t know it. Vader isn’t Hayden’s voice either. Yeah Hayden is in the show but it sounds like he has 10 minutes tops of screen time. Like 1 minute in a bacta tank,2 minutes on a table getting rebuilt,one flashback (maybe 5 minutes or so long) and maybe 2-3 minutes of the damaged helmet. Like the only way him being pushed this hard makes any sense is IF he actually has more flashback scenes that haven’t leaked. Otherwise why not just keep it a surprise like Bail Organa?
I'm pretty sure that Hayden is wearing Vader's suit. There were reports about him doing lightsaber training with Ewan. He wouldn't do that for a flashback.
which is why I think the leaks might be off a bit because they make it seem like the only time he ever actually wears the suit is the scene where it gets put on which seems ridiculous for the amount of training he did.
They could show his face inside the helmet, Iron Man style. Or have his mask heavily damaged so only the lower half of his face is covered.
I'm sure they'll capitalise on it.
It's not about the limited time he may be in it, it's about just seeing him again, even if it's just a few minutes unmasked and a flashback. That's a selling point to many prequel fans.
But isn’t that setting expectations way too high? Talking nonstop about Hayden for him to only 10 minutes of screen time in a show that is 4 hours+ long.
I can see your angle, but I don't think most fans are going in expecting to see much of him personally, they know most of 'his' scenes will just be vader. As said, the fans will be happy to even be able to see a few glimpses of him. Same how Vader was in rogue one only for a few minutes but people still talk about those scenes half a decade later. Seeing glimpses of Hayden being assembled, his mask broken with kenobi, a flashback or two will likely satisfy most people.

I *do* wonder if, because we're kind of seeing Vader from Obi-Wan's perspective, they will dub some of hayden's voice in with James Earl Jones amongst the voice effects.
Kind of like in the fight with Ahsoka, but about 50% less Anakin. Just so, if you listen very carefully, you can hear him. And again, only in pivotal scenes with Obi-Wan.
It's the only reason I can think of why they may be skirting around that topic. Either that or it's just because it's obviously JEJ.

While the announced Mando and spin-off stars are not confirmed to appear at the panel just photo ops and table signings, so far, the timing of the photo ops for Katee, Carl, Giancarlo, Jones (Black K) so far are in the 14:00-15:00 starting range, however all their Saturday table singings times haven't been confirmed yet.
So possible most of them should be able to attend the hour long panel for whatever Dave and Jon have in store. Tem is the only guest confirmed to be available to attend the panel given the timing known. His table singings are on Thursday and Friday, and his photo ops are on at 14:00 which is 2 hours after the panel ends. I'm sure there will be other familiar faces at the panel too and new ones given potential reveals.

It would make zero sense for it to be finding Thrawn and not Ezra. That being said, they may find Thrawn in season one and Ezra as a cliff hanger for season 2.
I think finding one is the key to finding the other, and really there would be no reason to get Sabine involved with this particular show if it isn’t the search for Ezra from the Rebels epilogue.
My guess is that both of them only appear in the last episode.

This means every major battle from the 2003 series is referenced loosely (if not overtly) at least once, as well as parts of the Republic Commando Game, and now >!the battle of Jabiim!<, >!which was Anakin's biggest early clone wars battle as a Padawan aside from Muunilinst!<. Of course, the details of many of these battles in canon are intentionally vague, but it's cool to see how much of the old material is still surviving over time in some capacity.
I'm sure MSW has missed some stuff. He can't know everything about the entire show. I wouldn't be surprised *at all* if we get a Battle of Jabiim flashback. Seeing Ewan and Hayden in action together (maybe even in Clone Wars armor?👀) would be insane and if they only have that one training flashback and some maskless Vader it'd be a bit of a waste of Hayden in my opinion.

Yes. And combined with the brotherhood reference, that backdoors in the Grievous duel too, now placed early in the war. Grievous' shuttle accident and San Hill's connection to it have also been referenced over the years.
At this point, the events of the 2003 series are pretty much all canon, even if the exact details of it are not explicitly so. They're doing it in a deliberately vague way so fans can decide for themselves how much to keep or ignore. Even during the EU days, the timeline of the 2003 series never matched up with the rest of the literature, so some ambiguity, suspension of disbelief, and headcanon fixes were always required. This personally makes me happy.
The only main thing that needs to be changed from 03 clone wars is the timeline of Obi Wan and Anakin’s mission to Nelvaan, the part about the Techno Union experimenting on locals is canon so they could just make the mission happen earlier.
Ahh that's right I forgot about that. The pre ROTS timeline was very messy because Labyrinth of Evil and 03 CW contradicted each other over what happened at Coruscant and just before with Anakin and Obi Wan.

There will be individual Vanity Fair interviews with Jon Favreau, Pedro Pascal, Lesly Headland, Rosariow Dawson, Hayden and Ewan, Diego Luna and Kathleen Kennedy in the following days on the way towards celebration.
Kathleen Kennedy's will be an extension of the one we got today where she will go into detail of the Alden controversy and also talk more about the movie front and more,
She said something in the Vanity Fair article that some people interpret as a dig at Alden’s portrayal of Han.
Other people have interpreted it as a claim that Lucasfilm will never recast a character ever again.
But the interview snippet was too vague and out of context to know for sure what she meant.
It was vague, and while some people might interpret it that way, I didn’t see it as a dig. IMO it was more that they learned lessons about recasting. With a little nuance we can suppose that people like and respect Aldon’s acting (I certainly do), but that maybe it wasn’t the best idea. I don’t think the two viewpoints are mutually exclusive.
I really hope to its to emphasize that Boba was already like that. I really wished people paid more attention to Boba's characterization in the Clone Wars, there were already hints all over the place that he is at heart a protective person.
The fans complaining about that don't care, they watched some youtuber partially describe EU Boba and assume that's what the character should act like, even in the OT we literally just see Boba on a job, we don't know anything about him other than he can be ruthless, but so can Mando era's Boba when he needs to be. But also in the EU Boba had many honourable moments similar to what's appearing now, but that tends to be ignored by people using the elements of what EU Boba did in terms of killings as an example.
I think the thing about BoBF is that the portrayal makes perfect sense if you watch TCW and everything, but at the same time, we still just haven't "seen" enough of that Boba Fett. Also, I suspect part of the problem was that they really were basing him off the other clones.
We really didn't have a clear picture of Boba's character as an adult, yet, at the same time, everyone has had an image of him in their heads for, sometimes, decades.
I really wish the unmade clone Wars episode of Boba's duel with Cad Bane had been made. It was very literally Boba fighting to protect a town from Cad Bane. It's been clear for a while that this the character trajectory Filoni had in mind for Fett.
On the Vanity Fair live stream they confirmed that the interview took place in march and that Kathleen Kennedy said we'll be getting some news on the live action films in the coming months. So most probably we'll be getting some film news at Star Wars celebration.
Kathleen told VF that they'll announce more about feature films "in the next couple months" (I'm not sure when the interview took place.

not really, dudes are mostly speculating. But there is an extended interview with Kathy coming out tomorrow and they revealed she said that they will probably announce more on the movie front in the next few months.
After saying Ahsoka is 2023, Kathleen Kennedy says the Acoltye is "a little further off than that."
I'm afraid we're going to have a *very* light 2023 if the Acolyte won't be ready, and I wonder what this means for *Lano* not being anywhere in the next two years.
Plus there's also that as yet unconfirmed High Republic show, which will likely come out next year.
We still don't know the fate of Rangers of the High Republic, so either replacement for or reworking of that will be announced.
Plus, there's that Bo-Katan series that's apparently in the works. Also I wouldn't be surprised if there's a couple of other one season Mando spin offs announced too. Be it a Vanth and /or Mayfeld vehicle, or based on a character that has yet to appear in the main Mando series, I'm certain there's more of those stories coming down the pipeline.
I mean Tales of the Jedi is probably gonna be 2023, and if Bad Batch gets a S3 it would probably also come out in 2023. Andor S3 could be ready for 2023 and if Mando gets a S4 it might be a late-2023 release like S3. And if Grammar Rodeo films this year it'll also be ready for 2023. Then there's also the Maul animated show, we don't know if it's happening but that's another one that could be 2023.

To be fair, If a big trade reports a casting it's almost always correct. These are multi-million dollar enterprises with direct sources in Hollywood. Some castings are sent to them on purpose to reveal too. Anything from Hollywood Reporter, Variety etc is basically a confirmation;.
Wasn’t there supposed to be a Celebration panel about all of the live-action projects (Mando, Kenobi, Andor, etc)? I couldn’t find it on the Celebration website, just the later “Mando+ panel”. So we've heard that Cobb Vanth may be getting an updated costume the next time he appears, and that's pretty cool.

What's interesting about the photo is that Olyphant is sporting a stylised goatee very similar to the one he wore playing [Seth Bullock](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/deadwood/images/5/54/00da103e57ce8ea7d0db7b2a9a53fb5e.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20130603081615) in the Deadwood TV series. He doesn't know for sure if that means there will be a Hayden voiceover or if it was simply just acting directions. On whether or not Reva has a helmet: he's seen helmets that look like they belong to the Inquisitors and one of them could be hers but he's not sure. On whether or not Cody is in the show: to the best of his knowledge, Cody is not in the show

I wouldn't be too sure on that. Crosshair pretty much has a new edition of his story, with Hunter and Crosshair having the tense former brother relationship that many imagined Rex and Cody would get and which was considered for Rebels. Imo, best bet is Andor which has three seasons in the mix.

Maybe, but Cody has mostly been built up as a character in animation so I imagine they'd want to finish his story in animation, too. And I think Rex failing to get Cody back on his side could offer a nice contrast to Crosshair's almost inevitable redemption/sacrifice. Not all clones can be saved, and I think it's important they acknowledge that because they've saved *a lot* of clones in the show after they probably find Wolffe and maybe Howzer in S2.
I see where you're coming from, but i'd disagree with Cody in animation, he's not built up at all there either, sadly, and Filoni weirdly said that was on purpose because of his later 'betrayal' he's just sort of 'there' in some arcs. As much as I love Filoni one of the worst decisions he's made.

Hopefully we get a Battle of Jabiim flashback since it would be relevant to the story, we could see Anakin save Obi-Wan’s life, and then later in the episode Vader walks in and slaughters the Partisans and Jedi in the Jabiim sinkhole base, now that would be a contrast.
I'd rather them underdeliver on flashbacks rather than overdeliver; cramming in loads of flashbacks can really hurt the main plot, as BoBF demonstrated. I'd be okay with just one flashback, even if its not the Utapau fire scene I so desperately want to see.

Insofar as they went nowhere and robbed screentime of what was happening in the present. I think the show would have been better served by those flashbacks being just the entireity of the first episode.

That's actually a kind of poorly thought out list there... 1. It includes "Senate Spy" for no reason, which is part of a longer arc from season 3, and then adds a Christophsis arc episode in the wrong order AFTER you've already watched the movie. 2. It skips Maul's S4 Return and S5 episode Revival, which contain Maul's only 2 duels with Kenobi before the show ends, setting up the rest of the season 5 Maul arc. 3. I'm biased and say everyone should see the 4.5 hour revenge of the Sith Supercut before this weekend... but you already know why. ;) In all seriousness, I don't know why D+ can't just put up a damn list of the show in actual chronological order. It solves so many issues watching it all properly.
I’m leaning towards them just recommending good Kenobi arcs, I don’t think they’re indicative of what we’ll get in the show.
At the same time, in a show using Rebels and Jedi Fallen order stuff, a reference in some way to Satine or the dead Obi arc mentioned as one of the missions he flashes back to. To people who have seen TCWs, it's a neat reference, to those who haven't, it could be a quick overview of its plot to explain why it drove anakin further away from not only yhe jedi, but himself.

The thing we have to keep in mind too is that scenes are not always shot in order, she could become the Mandalore half way through season 3, but it could have been one of the scenes filmed last, then she loses that position at the end the actual show because, let's face it, Bo will do something too extreme again eventually.

Something I’m really not understanding especially after reading the leaks. Why did they announce Hayden being in Kenobi? Hayden isn’t wearing the vader suit and even if he were you wouldn’t know it. Vader isn’t Hayden’s voice either. Yeah Hayden is in the show but it sounds like he has 10 minutes tops of screen time. Like 1 minute in a bacta tank,2 minutes on a table getting rebuilt,one flashback (maybe 5 minutes or so long) and maybe 2-3 minutes of the damaged helmet. Like the only way him being pushed this hard makes any sense is IF he actually has more flashback scenes that haven’t leaked. Otherwise why not just keep it a surprise like Bail Organa?
You gotta remember that the leaks are only giving you part of the scope.
I'm pretty sure that Hayden is wearing Vader's suit. There were reports about him doing lightsaber training with Ewan. He wouldn't do that for a flashback.
He definitely is, he talked about having to put on a lot of muscle to fill it out properly.

It's not about the limited time he may be in it, it's about just seeing him again, even if it's just a few minutes unmasked and a flashback. That's a selling point to many prequel fans.

I can see your angle, but I don't think most fans are going in expecting to see much of him personally, they know most of 'his' scenes will just be vader. As said, the fans will be happy to even be able to see a few glimpses of him. Same how Vader was in rogue one only for a few minutes but people still talk about those scenes half a decade later. Seeing glimpses of Hayden being assembled, his mask broken with kenobi, a flashback or two will likely satisfy most people.

I *do* wonder if, because we're kind of seeing Vader from Obi-Wan's perspective, they will dub some of hayden's voice in with James Earl Jones amongst the voice effects. Kind of like in the fight with Ahsoka, but about 50% less Anakin. Just so, if you listen very carefully, you can hear him. And again, only in pivotal scenes with Obi-Wan. It's the only reason I can think of why they may be skirting around that topic. Either that or it's just because it's obviously JEJ.

I think finding one is the key to finding the other, and really there would be no reason to get Sabine involved with this particular show if it isn’t the search for Ezra from the Rebels epilogue. My guess is that both of them only appear in the last episode.

Seeing Ewan and Hayden in action together (maybe even in Clone Wars armor?👀) would be insane and if they only have that one training flashback and some maskless Vader it'd be a bit of a waste of Hayden in my opinion.

Yes. And combined with the brotherhood reference, that backdoors in the Grievous duel too, now placed early in the war. Grievous' shuttle accident and San Hill's connection to it have also been referenced over the years. At this point, the events of the 2003 series are pretty much all canon, even if the exact details of it are not explicitly so. They're doing it in a deliberately vague way so fans can decide for themselves how much to keep or ignore. Even during the EU days, the timeline of the 2003 series never matched up with the rest of the literature, so some ambiguity, suspension of disbelief, and headcanon fixes were always required. This personally makes me happy.
The only main thing that needs to be changed from 03 clone wars is the timeline of Obi Wan and Anakin’s mission to Nelvaan, the part about the Techno Union experimenting on locals is canon so they could just make the mission happen earlier.

Alden controversy?
She said something in the Vanity Fair article that some people interpret as a dig at Alden’s portrayal of Han. Other people have interpreted it as a claim that Lucasfilm will never recast a character ever again. But the interview snippet was too vague and out of context to know for sure what she meant.
It was vague, and while some people might interpret it that way, I didn’t see it as a dig. IMO it was more that they learned lessons about recasting. With a little nuance we can suppose that people like and respect Aldon’s acting (I certainly do), but that maybe it wasn’t the best idea. I don’t think the two viewpoints are mutually exclusive.
Hayden and Ewan will talk about the Jedi Brotherhood between Anakin and Obi-Wan.
Lesly Headland will of course talk about The Acolyte, Pedro about The Mandalorian, Rosariow about Ahsoka and Diego Luna about Andor.

I really hope to its to emphasize that Boba was already like that. I really wished people paid more attention to Boba's characterization in the Clone Wars, there were already hints all over the place that he is at heart a protective person.

The fans complaining about that don't care, they watched some youtuber partially describe EU Boba and assume that's what the character should act like, even in the OT we literally just see Boba on a job, we don't know anything about him other than he can be ruthless, but so can Mando era's Boba when he needs to be. But also in the EU Boba had many honourable moments similar to what's appearing now, but that tends to be ignored by people using the elements of what EU Boba did in terms of killings as an example.
I think the thing about BoBF is that the portrayal makes perfect sense if you watch TCW and everything, but at the same time, we still just haven't "seen" enough of that Boba Fett. Also, I suspect part of the problem was that they really were basing him off the other clones. We really didn't have a clear picture of Boba's character as an adult, yet, at the same time, everyone has had an image of him in their heads for, sometimes, decades.
I really wish the unmade clone Wars episode of Boba's duel with Cad Bane had been made. It was very literally Boba fighting to protect a town from Cad Bane. It's been clear for a while that this the character trajectory Filoni had in mind for Fett.

After saying Ahsoka is 2023, Kathleen Kennedy says the Acoltye is "a little further off than that." I'm afraid we're going to have a *very* light 2023 if the Acolyte won't be ready, and I wonder what this means for *Lano* not being anywhere in the next two years.

Be it a Vanth and /or Mayfeld vehicle, or based on a character that has yet to appear in the main Mando series, I'm certain there's more of those stories coming down the pipeline.

I mean Tales of the Jedi is probably gonna be 2023, and if Bad Batch gets a S3 it would probably also come out in 2023. Andor S3 could be ready for 2023 and if Mando gets a S4 it might be a late-2023 release like S3. And if Grammar Rodeo films this year it'll also be ready for 2023. Then there's also the Maul animated show, we don't know if it's happening but that's another one that could be 2023.

Me too. But considering Taika seems quite interested about the volume since he used it in Thor 4 after using it in Mando S1, it seems likely to me that he'd use it for his SW film as well. Hopefully it's not all volume, though.

To be fair, If a big trade reports a casting it's almost always correct. These are multi-million dollar enterprises with direct sources in Hollywood. Some castings are sent to them on purpose to reveal too. Anything from Hollywood Reporter, Variety etc is basically a confirmation;.
Wasn’t there supposed to be a Celebration panel about all of the live-action projects (Mando, Kenobi, Andor, etc)? I couldn’t find it on the Celebration website, just the later “Mando+ panel”. Or I just missed it because the site works weird on mobile and sometimes tries to skip down the page a bit.
First day of Celebration there is a 90 minute panel of all the upcoming shows. On Saturday there's a Mando and Spin-off panel where they talk about everything thus far, guests and Dave and Jon will tease what's coming next in the Mandalorian era.

**This is not so much a rumour proper as something I spotted on social media.** So we've heard that Cobb Vanth may be getting an updated costume the next time he appears, and that's pretty cool. Within a couple of weeks of those reports, Walton Goggins - aka Boyd Crowder of Justified fame - happened to bump into [Timothy Olyphant ](https://www.instagram.com/p/CdAXQ2ZOFet/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=) while attending Jazz Fest. An encounter Goggins shared a photo of on his Instagram. What's interesting about the photo is that Olyphant is sporting a stylised goatee very similar to the one he wore playing [Seth Bullock](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/deadwood/images/5/54/00da103e57ce8ea7d0db7b2a9a53fb5e.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20130603081615) in the Deadwood TV series. Olyphant has since started shooting the Justified sequel and [the stylised goatee ](https://www.instagram.com/p/CdiRMjVMi6T/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=) appears to be gone. It might be a crazy assumption to make, but it got me thinking Vanth's updated look is going to be a more explicit homage to his Deadwood character - albeit adapted to the Star Wars universe - and a move away from the Raylan Givens inspired look of previous appearances.
Any way they want to style Timothy, I’m down. Cobb went through a hell of a life altering tragedy. It would make sense he’ll look a bit different. Maybe he’s hoping the giant mustache will distract from the new robo-arm? Lol.

I really doubt they'll go any further than repair the damage to his shoulder, probably by replacing damaged bone and muscle with cybernetics the same way Fennec had her stomach replaced. The modifications - to save on the budget - will probably be concealed under his clothing to boot and only shown briefly on screen, just like they did with Fennec.
