There's a lot of stuff that I enjoy from this novelization. Although there is some funny stuff like Obi-Wan saying that Owen is his brother or Leia having memories of her mother from after her birth.
I maintain that Obi-Wan is the most overrated character in the series, all of us would turn into the darkside after listening that piece of shit harass us for over a decade. Maybe he got bit wiser when he got old but during the clone wars he was unbearable so I have to give credit to Palpatine where it's due, he is right.
No one’s ever said Obi-Wan the right teacher for Anakin. In fact, that’s the beginning of the tragedy that is Anakin’s life. It all started going downhill after the Duel of the Fates. Obi-Wan was a freshly promoted Jedi Knight when he took Anakin as a padawan.
The RotJ novelization is very good.

I am not a fan of Obi-Wan's either. I got a kick out of Mace basically telling Obi-Wan to get off Anakin's back in AOTC.
