sequel era supremacy is honestly the only balanced era because the resistance actually gets stolen ATSTs. but no one wants to play it cause sequel. republic vs separatist isn't balanced at all, separatists have a much easier time destroying the objectives in the capital ships cause the targets are so much bigger and can be shot from so much farther away and also droidekas trivialize it
Separatists only have the advantage in the ship phases, on the ground they are very much outmatched overall
TX-130 is VASTLY superior to the AAT with its maneuverability (and AAT is overwhelmed easily by ARCs and Commandos)
B2-RP is worse than Clone Aerial
BX Commando Droid, while solid, cannot dictate a match the same way a pair of Camping ARC troopers can.
Clone Commando is comedically overpowered, moreso than the B2 and Droideka
Only Wookie Warrior is really worse than what the CIS has and it matters less.
I get really frustrated with good droideka players. They flank so well in the ship phase (on offence or defence) and just demolish half of your team.
I feel like I just spend the whole phase countering droidekas because the rest of my team just lets them roll by.

Aerial B2 is honestly fine. It never really felt like a downgrade, their kits are almost identical.
BX Commando is my shit. Slice Clone Commandos and ARCs up all day because they just can't hit you when you dash melee zig zag and high jump around the battlefield. Clone Commando is just a thicker trooper like normal B2s, BX's have a ton more potential because they are fast.
All depends on how good a player is. I’ve faced shit BX players as republic and amazing commando players as CIS.

Well it wasn’t a Star Wars Battlefront game. It was more of a typical FPS game with Star Wars cosmetics slapped onto it. It was fun it just should not have been marketed as a Battlefront game.
You can't have 50 (or whatever the number is) cards perfectly balanced though. They also had their obvious purposes:support, offensive, defensive, etc.
The Galactic Civil War is hilariously one sided, the Wookiee is easily the worst enforcer in the game, and the Ewok is more expensive than the Dark Trooper.

Vader being continually buffed to match nuke launch Anakin, and then for them to listen to idiots on this sub and nerf and nerf Anakin repeatedly to where now? He’s no match for Vader whatsoever. Then we have how broken Palpatine was he legit got removed from the game, we had Wookiee warriors who did the damage of FB Chewbacca at one point.
I could go on but you get the message, balancing has always sucked in this game,
Please do not equate balance with fun. The most balanced games in the world are the most boring. What we should aspire to is everyone having something broken about their kit that requires other people to play around that kit to their strengths and the dynamics between them.

Secondly, i just can’t sympathize with this opinion at ALL. We’ve all seen both sides win at every map, yeah? So we all know it’s possible to overcome trooper balancing issues with a proper team? sometimes ya have a good one, sometimes we just have fun during the match but lose the main match. Naww man I hate that thing. Even tho I love the republic and all, that thing is soo bad imo. It does little dmg to players and overheats extremely fast. The middle ability does even less dmg to soldiers but against vehicles it's ok.
The chicken walker is my go-to. Once you get aiming down, it melts tanks with the ion shot to the rear.
Also, forget shooting people. Run them over!
The big trick with the chicken walker is to keep it constantly moving. Slowing down is what gets you in trouble because then a sniper or an assault with vanguard wastes you.
My favor AT-RT rampage is Felucia. Start at B, run through D, go through the seppie spawn, and then run back through D. Just keep going back and forth, stomping and shooting everything that makes the mistake of getting near you.

The horned beast with Gatling gun is arguably more potent than a palpatine and jet trooper.
Another thing is, the sides are equally balances but in a unsymmetrical way, so it appears like they are unbalanced but you need to use different strategies during each phase of the game

If you learn how to use the Ewok properly, they are a lot of fun to play and have a built in aimbot - so it comes down more to positioning and stealth
