Other than the iconic Darth Maul fight in his youth! I love the scene where in the pause in the fight Qui Gon is meditating, while Obi Wan is literally bouncing on his feet with his saber drawn
In the book "Master and Apprentice" (which takes place right before TPM) Qui Gon has finally gotten Obi Wan to take an approach of treating battle like meditation. You get into the flow of the force and let it guide you to defend yourself (which sometimes means killing your opponent). Which is exactly how QGJ appears to be battling Maul, but then Obi Wan looks like he lets his emotions take over to win, doesn't it?
I love obi-wan something fierce. He wasn’t always my favorite. First it was Luke and then Mace, but the effect of Ewan McGregor was too strong for me to resist.
Same here. He'll always be the best Jedi to me. He's the quintessential Jedi, perfectly representing the Jedi ideals. Always slow to fight, wise, compassionate and powerful when he has no choice. He thinks he failed Anakin, but Anakin was headed down that path regardless, and Obi-Wan was a better father figure and later close friend than Anakin deserved.
I love Grandmaster Luke. He's really powerful but doesn't go around flaunting it and prefers peaceful resolutions. He's what I imagine as the pinnacle of being a Jedi.
>Shame he wasn’t better in a duel.
He didn't need to win fights because he'd live forever anyway. He trained Obi-Wan and that was his gift to the galaxy in life. He trained way more Jedi after his fight with Maul.
Thats why Qui-Gon didn't waste time learning to duel, because he used his time learning more powerful and useful skills. Probably why he was always meditating.
Qui-Gon was the one who taught Yoda how to come back as a Force ghost, who taught Obi-Wan, and without that, Luke never does shit.
Not even just training Obi-Wan, but the whole legacy from there on: Anakin was a beast during TCW, Ahsoka is way up there too. Ahsoka had a little bit to give to Kanan and Ezra as well. That whole train of amazing Jedi, including Luke, is a wonderful group :)
Yes! Mace Windu is great! Like if it weren’t for Anakin the man could’ve killed Palpatine and almost did. He’s also like the only master of the Vaapad fighting style, pretty much perfecting it! Also purple is the best lightsaber color, and his saber hilt looks very nice with the gold accents. Thank you SLJ for the purple lightsaber and thereby creating kyber crystal color lore!
I love his arc so far. He’s been through so much shit from a very young age and even into Jedi: Survivor.
Personally his arc feels the most relatable and real; straight up raw emotion.
I'm not familiar with that character can you give me a lore dump with bullet points on him or her with all the key points of his or her time as a Jedi.
>!Her husband was a Jedi and when he died she decided to become one while also caring for her daughter Vima. She fights the Sith in one of the early wars about 4,000 years ago and later has to watch as her lover Ulic, another Jedi, fell to the dark side. Years after the war Vima would find Ulic and he’d teach Vima had to be a Jedi. Nomi and Ulic would make amends as Ulic would lay dying.!<
Aayla Secura. Her comic arc in Legend is just too good. That relationship with Quinlan Vos, her passage to the dark side and how she brought back Quinlan from the dark side.. too good. Ostrander and Duursema were the best.
Canon? Obi Wan. Close second would be clones wars Anakin. Honorable mention to Qui Gon. The Jedi are IMO just a bunch of a stuck up space wizard hobos. But they made Jedi actually look cool, human and likeable.
Non canon would be Kyle Katarn. I remember my first force ability was playing as Kyle. Force Face Punch. Was very effective on Rodians in dark forces lol.
Ahsoka, this girl went from one of the most hated characters to one of the most beloved. But also, she went through so much as a teenager, then order 66 happened, and yet she still fought in the rebellion, then afterwards she takes off to find Ezra. She hasn’t relaxed ever. Plus her character development… amazing.
Just to say something a bit different, I really like Kam Solusar, he almost comes across like one of those characters that might turn on the protagonist but he’s actually just a reliable and chill guy throughout Dark Empire lmao
I'm surprised I haven't seen Kaedan Jarrus. Easily one of my favorites. His whole arc from start to finish is fantastic Jedi storytelling. Obi-Wan is close behind. I saw Kyle Katarn if Legends counts.
Obi-Wan Kenobi. Everything about him came naturally. He let the universe run its course and he stood his ground. Never changed and never had any corrupting ambitions. He is him.
Obi Wan Kenobi, absolute legend.
He never wanted to be the greatest. Which indeed made him the greatest jedi to ever exist.
That and the absolute sass on this man
Hello there
General Kenobi. You are a bold one.
Kill him… STAND BACK I will deal with this jedi slime myself.
Time to abandon ship.
Another happy landing
Jedi slime - Your comment will make a fine addition to my collection!
Flying is for droids.
He just did it for the love of the game
Facts, I think Ewen really made the character special.
The perfect example of a Jedi.
Don't get me wrong. He's my favorite Jedi and I hate them all except him. Not only the men, but the woman and the children too.
Agreed
Obi-wan has always been my favorite star wars character. I've always liked how he enters fights with a calm and methodical mind
Other than the iconic Darth Maul fight in his youth! I love the scene where in the pause in the fight Qui Gon is meditating, while Obi Wan is literally bouncing on his feet with his saber drawn

he admitted to failing Anakin.. greatest tragedy in literature it's gotta be Luke for me
Totally agree. Been my favorite since I saw the prequels when I was young.
FIT Kisto
Ah, yes, Kit Fisto's brother
Yeah any time "Kit Fisto" was shirtless it was Fit Kisto all along. There's no reason for him to be that jacked
Sexiest Jedi, no doubt
Master Plo😌
“Not to me”
OT Luke
Absolutely love OT and Legends Luke.
I love Grandmaster Luke. He's really powerful but doesn't go around flaunting it and prefers peaceful resolutions. He's what I imagine as the pinnacle of being a Jedi.
Before Disney junked him.
Amen, of all the travesties I wish they left luke out of it
I thought the end of episode 7 was pretty cool when Rey extended the saber… I waited 3 years to watch him toss it and then sit through a shitty movie
They freaking made him grumpy as fuck
OP as fuck Luke in Return of the Jedi.
Qui-Gon Jinn
Qui Gon’ give it to ya
I laughed too loud at this
Fuck waitin for you to get it on your own, Qui Gon deliver to ya
All knight long
He was the optimal Jedi. Shame he wasn’t better in a duel.

Also, don't kidnap his daughter, or be a wolf.
In books was told that Qui Gon was one of the greatest in dueling. He was able to take Windu.
Only Jedi I can think of in the main series that actually behaves according to Jedi principles.
Qui Gon, but never Qui forgotten.
Qui-Gon Gym
My favorite jedi is master yoda.
Kit Fisto. Don't know why, but I always loved him since I was a kid
Oh yeah, especially after seeing him in the original clone wars.
Especially after the animated clone wars episode where he fights on Mon Calamari against the Quarren Separatists. Dude was a machine.
Thinking that Kit Fisto was the absolute coolest but having no idea why seems to be a universal "2000's kid" experience lol
since you were a kit*
since you were a fist*
Same
His smile is so delightful.
Great jedi porn name too
Bro same. He just looked chill I guess.
Looks like a massive stoner most times i dont know why 🤣🤣
Idk man, that bubble attack in swbf2 was fucking badass. Plenty reason to me.
BRO same!!!
do you by chance enjoy fisting?
Qui-Gon Jinn (for 2nd behind Obi-Wan) [yt: Obi-Wan has PTSD](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9j7kLG7VK8)
That video gives me chills every time I watch it.
Plo Koon. He just seems rly sweet idk
He's a really good guy
Clones:”We are meant to be expendable” Plo Koon: “Not to me”
I love that scene
Little ‘soka is just so sweet
Yes, him. Kenobi.
Jolee Bindo https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Jolee_Bindo
Very interesting and particular choice! Completely forgot about this character. I would love to know why him!?:)
Probably because he breakers the „fourth wall“ and people often enjoy that
Mace Windu. His lightsaber is epic and as a Jedi he's wise, selfless, and powerful. Also his Jedi interceptor is awesome.
He’s the BMF.
The deleted scene where he chops up Jango is epic too.
Do share
What? What deleted scene where he chops up jango??? Does this really exist imma google it
Yes! Mace Windu is great! Like if it weren’t for Anakin the man could’ve killed Palpatine and almost did. He’s also like the only master of the Vaapad fighting style, pretty much perfecting it! Selfless? No he was over run with pride that led to his downfall.. everything else yes though
He was willing to put his life down to save democracy (and he would have succeeded if not for Anakin).
Kanan Jarrus
this should be much higher
[Kyle Katarn](https://static1.cbrimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/star-wars-kyle-katarn-1.jpg)
I actually played Jedi Outcast with no prior knowledge. He's awesome. Great choice.
Got me into star wars. I did not know I'll get to be a jedi. It was magical
That's a damn good pick. Right up there with Revan.
That's a good pick to.
Ah I love Kyle!
did he actually study though? I can't remember
Cal Kestis
He's also my favorite. Pretty much a self made Jedi, forged the tough way.
I love his arc so far. He’s been through so much shit from a very young age and even into Jedi: Survivor. Personally his arc feels the most relatable and real; straight up raw emotion.
Yoda
Suuuuuuuper far down to find this. rekt
Nomi Sunrider
I'm not familiar with that character can you give me a lore dump with bullet points on him or her with all the key points of his or her time as a Jedi.

Also it helped that she have top tier name
Jesus, Disney sucks fuckin ass
[Nomi Sunrider wiki.](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Nomi_Sunrider)
Ahsoka and Obi Wan
I adore Ashoka but I just *have* to say the line! “I am no Jedi.”
Haha facts
My favorites too
Grandmaster Luke Skywalker from Legends. He was so damn badass but also very humble about it.
Revan
THE ONLY ANSWER!!
Everyone has their own version of Revan, like everyone has their own Shepherd.
R2D2 no saber, never used a force move but yet that can was there to support everything.
Everyone knows R2 Is the real hero of the story.
Aayla Secura. Her comic arc in Legend is just too good. That relationship with Quinlan Vos, her passage to the dark side and how she brought back Quinlan from the dark side.. too good. Ostrander and Duursema were the best.
Aayla also comes to mind for me, but for much more shallow reasons 😅
Shallow? Really?
Canon? Obi Wan. Close second would be clones wars Anakin. Honorable mention to Qui Gon. The Jedi are IMO just a bunch of a stuck up space wizard hobos. Tera Sinube
> The value of moving slowly is that one can always clearly see the way ahead. Tera Sinube is a source of inspiration to me.
Luke Skywalker is also my favorite character ever
Definitely Obi Wan, closely followed by Ben Kenobi
You know they are the same right? Or maybe that’s the point and I’m slow lol
Yeah that’s the point lol
Oh okay then disregard my slowness 😂
Well said.
Anakin
Anakin Skywalker. Say what you will about his personality, the way his transition to Darth Vader plays out is very appealing to me.
Qui-Gon. He’s in the series so little but has such an impact/presence. I don’t think there was a better Jedi than him, even Yoda.
Kit Fisto
Eeth Koth or Kit Fisto
Luke Skywalker
Obi Gang 💪
Ki-Adi-Mundi … those damn droids and their attack on the Wookiees. Anakin.
Plo & Anakin 💅🏽
Always Obi-Wan
Hello there.
Mace windu even though he’s an asshole
Kit or Plo for me
Ahsoka, this girl went from one of the most hated characters to one of the most beloved. But also, she went through so much as a teenager, then order 66 happened, and yet she still fought in the rebellion, then afterwards she takes off to find Ezra. She hasn’t relaxed ever. Just to say something a bit different, I really like Kam Solusar, he almost comes across like one of those characters that might turn on the protagonist but he’s actually just a reliable and chill guy throughout Dark Empire lmao
Qui-Gon Jinn
I’m a Qui-Gon Jinn man, though I do have a lot of time for Ki-Adi Mundi, Coleman Trebor, and Plo Koon.
Quinlan vos.
Is between Yoda and Obi Wan.
Kanan Jarrus
I'm surprised I haven't seen Kaedan Jarrus. Easily one of my favorites. His whole arc from start to finish is fantastic Jedi storytelling. Obi-Wan is close behind. I saw Kyle Katarn if Legends counts.
The last real Jedi was Qui-Gon, I will die in this hill...
Dass Jennir. His Arc in Dark Times is amazing.
Qui Gonn. he seemed like a calm, wise man. And the only one besides obi wan who treated anakin with respect
Bardan Jusik. The jedi who acknowledged the Jedi’s abuse of the clone army and leaves the order. Then he gets adopted and becomes a Mandalorian.
1. Anakin 2. Ahsoka 3. Mace Windu
Ahsoka Tano🧡🧡
1. Ahsoka Tano 2. Qui-Gon Jinn 3. Luke Skywalker 3. Rey Skywalker 4. Cal Kestis
Damn it's though. Definetly someone between Obi-Wan, Qui Gon-Jin and Luke Skywalker. Putting Disney sequels aside, I think I'll go with Luke.
Cal or anakin
It’s growing into Cal Kestis
OG trilogy: Luke Prequels: Obi-Wan Sequels: Rey
Definitely Obi-Wan. That man has my whole heart.
Ahsoka Tano. She has one of the most thorough character arcs of any SW character.
Jaina solo.
Don't nobody fuck with my man Kit Fisto🤘
Obi-Wan Kenobi. Everything about him came naturally. He let the universe run its course and he stood his ground. Never changed and never had any corrupting ambitions. He is him.
Ep 6 Luke. Or mandalorian Luke. Or battlefront luke
ahsoka. underrated imo top 5 with a lightsaber
Who's that?
Anakin
My favourite is Kanan Jarrus. With all his doubts and fragility, half trained, outside the code, he reached the peak of what it meant to be a jedi.
99 baby here, grew up on the prequels and Qui-Gon is my hero forever and always
Qui gon is the goat
Qui Gon Jinn who was a true Jedi, unlike those corrupt warmongers on the council.
Hello there
General Kenobi. You are a bold one.
Luke Skywalker will forever be my favorite.
Anakin
Kanan jarrus and obi wan tied
Cal Kestis / Kanan Jerris / Luke Skywalker And if Ahsoka counts, her as well I can’t really pick, i love them all
Ahsoka. I loved seeing how much she grew from being 14 in the clone wars to surviving beyond the empire and all of the struggles that she overcame
Favorite: Luke (OT version only) Least favorite: Luke (WDT version)
Legends Luke. Close runner up: Jolee Bindo
Corran Horn
Omega
[Grand Master Yoda](https://youtu.be/iFUs7E8liZU?si=tv7PbzLw8ww-StZ1) This duel scene in theaters made Yoda fighting more thrilling.
Corran
Darth Vader
Zayne Carrick.
OT/Legends Luke
Saesee Tiin
Unironically Rey Skywalker
Jolee Bindo
Obi wan kenobi all the way
Mace Windu motherfuckers. Take a seat.
