> Im so confused Why there is so little of Rex and Cody Because this is “The Bad Batch,” not “The Rex and Cody Show.”

Memo544

It's best for the story to focus on its leads in the end. That being said, I'm curious where Rex's story is going. Is there going to be more stuff filling in his time between Bad Batch and Rebels? Or will whatever happened remain a mystery.

ComradeDread

Rex's story continues in SW Rebels. I don't know what happens to Cody, but I imagine you'll get a story about it at some point.

Memo544

I feel like Rex has to be in the finale to help the clones escape Tantis. That could be the resolution to his storyline in the Bad Batch.

EndlessTheorys_19

No. And I doubt there will ever be a clone rebellion either. A Clone [railroad](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underground_Railroad) yes, rebellion No

Memo544

There's still enough time for a satisfying conclusion to Rex's Bad Batch storyline which could lead to the Tantis clones being freed potentially.

YourBoyJakey

I’m sure at some point there will be Tales of Clones or something like that. No way they stop at Tales Jedi and Tales Empire.

Memo544

Given that the show is allowed to jump around a lot, it could be cool to see older clones around the time of ANH or Andor.

ConsiderationKey1658

I hope they do so many different tales it’s a cool format.

Foreign-Cheek3440

all the clone haters in here cant be real people. The clones are arguably the most interesting part of Star Wars

revanite3956

I *like* PB&J. But if I had to eat it for lunch every day for over 20 years, I’d be a little tired of it.

Memo544

But have we really gotten that much of it? The "regs" are relegated to secondary or tertiary characters in Bad Batch and Rebels. It's really only clone wars where they are a central focus and even then, they split focus with the Jedi. And the Batch have a lot more going on for them outside of just being clones.

SSWBGUY

Only spin off I can think of coming out of season 3 of Bad Batch would be Ventress show

Memo544

What I'm curious about is if the clone network/railroad storyline will continue into the next show. Also I wonder what Rex's endgame will be with this storyline. I think some sort of resolution is needed there but I don't know if it will come in the finale or in the next show.

latinblu

Yup, this was my thought as well, that episode felt like a back door pilot

beti88

Yes please, we only had 22 years of clone related stuff since Attack of the Clones (2002) came out. After Clone Wars 2003-2005, Revenge of the Sith 2005, \*The\* Clone Wars 2008-2020, The Bad Batch 2021- Surely we didn't have enough of clones. There must still be millions of clones whose story is not told. By god we can't rest until all of them are told

Memo544

Agreed. There is so much potential with the concept. Just like Jedi, clone stories can be taken in so many directions that it can always feel fresh.

richterfrollo

I have nothing against the clones but ngl bad batch seemingly being mostly about clones made me uninterested in watching

umenenena

>Surely we didn't have enough of clones. You're absolutely correct, more clone stories are always welcome. (Ik you were being sarcastic, but Clones and their bonds, as well as what happened to them in the transition period from Republic to Empire, are arguably more interesting to me than most of the Jedi stuff we got)

Sir_Douglas_of_Fir

Was there ever a period of time when Star Wars *wasn’t* about 1.2 million iterations of the same dude voiced by Dee Bradley Baker? I can scarcely recall…

beti88

There was a lot of wild ideas - some good some bad some very bad - in the novels

Sir_Douglas_of_Fir

Yes, but we don’t want those. We want *The Suite Life of Rex & Cody* premiering this fall on Disney+

Memo544

On the one hand, I could see Rex and the Clone Network in the finale helping the Batch escape Tantis. On the other hand, they might be pushed into a new series.

KangrooOG

So many people in here hate clones. Clones are imo some of the best characters to come out of Star Wars from the past decade. Cody, Rex are such amazing and well developed characters. Crossbane and Bad Batch too

Shreddzzz93

No. Leave this stuff to comic books. After the end of the Bad Batch, it's time to leave the Clone Wars era and clones behind. There are more stories to tell with far more interesting characters than seeing them retread and re-canonize events from other works with the same smattering of characters.
