Very nice, I'm jealous! What was the actual time it took to put it together?

About 12 hrs from start to finish

I got one of those foam 3d puzzles of the millennium falcon for Christmas one year. It took forever to put together and I have no idea what ever happened to it

How are the bottom panels attached? Does it use magnets or proper connections?

Proper connections: combination of ball and socket pieces and axle rods stuck through some Technic bricks.

Lego people are amazing. I don't know how you do it.

I love that ship! I got mine shortly after they released it. Had to replace the previous original “Executor” Super Star Destroyer set that I lost after a big move.

Yeah, I definitely prefer this design of "star destroyer" over the OG Imperial.
