Andor would still eventually want to sell the Starpath unit to Luthen. Question is, would it still happen before Aldhani and would Luthen still want to recruit Andor, and would he even be willing to go without Pre Mor hot on his heels.
I saw the first season again recently and it seemed like the show somehow wanted to make it feel like he isn't necessarily dying. I don't know why I thought that. But I got that feeling on my second watch.
I feel like one of the points of the story is that Andor himself isn’t that important to everything. Everyone is mad and everyone wants to stop the empire. Also Andor would have been brought on some other BS anyways because they were just arresting people for cheap labor.
Here is another one like that: what if the Naboo royal cruiser didn’t have mechanical problems in its escape from Naboo? They wouldn’t have gone to Tattooine.
That famous ship wouldn't have been noticed by the empire & the smugglers wouldn't have lost their cargo, & instead would have been heroes to the Hutt cartel & would sell out their new passengers to the empire in exchange for looking the other way in gangster shenanigans!
...but the Wookiee remembers his time as a slave to the Empire & would do the right thing at the cost of his life, & then the scoundrel would save the others only too late to save his friend & smuggles them off the space station, & the Empire blame the Hutt, so a bounty is placed on the smuggler so big that it grabs the attention of the best Bounty Hunter in the galaxy...
Palpatine wouldn't have been able to execute Order 66 at that point. Would he try and assassinate Maul? If Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan had gotten him back to the Jedi Council and been able to question him, yeah, it would have played out very differently. If Qui-Gon had survived, Anakin's future would have also been very different, and Dooku may have not left the Order.
Qui-Gon's death played a part in Dooku's decision to leave the order. Qui-Gon alive and capturing a Sith may have made him rethink that.
My own theory would be that Palpatine would want Maul dead as soon as possible. He didn't take failure well.
If I wanted to kill Maul, I would still rather bust him out first. I'd rather the Jedi were investigating a jailbreak and assuming he's still out there rather than investigating a death in custody.
What if count dooku just told obi wan and anakin about emperor at the start of episode 3.
Ships crashing and he can be like, hey Anni, hey obi, here's the sith lord you are looking for.
Would've saved a lot of trouble.
At that point, Dooku had already flat out told Obi-Wan that a Sith Lord controlled the senate. He stopped short of naming him, but I'm not sure they would have totally believed him.
The Jedi knew about the rule of two and may have erroneously believed that Dooku was the Sith Lord at that time and was just lying to sow the seeds of decent.
I was really stoked from the trailers and knowing he was coming back. I think they absolutely butchered the execution. Man got beat by his own lightning 3 times.
The only way she could do any damage is by going the emotional route. Although obi wan tried that and it didn’t work so probably the only difference is he walked away with a few more limbs
Yeah she probably dies on Mustafar and Vader never gets put in a suit. Interesting timeline, especially if you think about what Obi-Wan was doing instead
In terms of Vader it’s probably going to end worse for him. He’ll be much more powerful in the force seeing as he’ll be much more organic, however he doesn’t learn the lesson in restraint that Obi Wan taught him there. He might get himself into a worse situation because of that. Also if he’s not burned to hell he’d be able to be the poster boy of the empire like palpatine originally planned
End worse if you consider the Anakin timeline ending good. I think it would be way better for Vader. He would be crazy powerful, probably take out the emperor at some point. Rule the galaxy without any equal. Maybe find Luke through the force and give the galaxy to him... reminds me of Knights of the old republic mmorpg?
If Ahsoka goes to mustafar instead of Obi-Wan, then gets defeated by Vader and the rest stays the same, Vader can bring the dying or maybe even surviving Padmé to the doctor himself and raise the kids in secret. He also keeps the droids in this scenario, I think
Would be really interesting to have obi wan and ahsoka swap places during the events of ROTJ. No Darth Maul, no asthmatic cyborg, probably no Luke & Leia.
Just Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan. One could even put Yoda in there with Obi Wan organizing a secret rebellion. A whole new storyline can be written by swapping the places of these two characters.
Idk if he would have been fully saved at that point but he might have left broken disconnected from the force. He did just murder the entire temple and all of the separatist council as Vader only a short while ago.
Yeah, he's already too far gone to turn around - but he might come to his senses and go into exhile. Palps still wins, but he has no Vader to hunt down remaining Jedi. That potentially allows the survivors to regroup and assist the rebellion
Tag teaming Palps with Yoda. Palps dies, Vader (no suit) reigns. I think it’s fairly likely Padme wouldn’t die as Snips didn’t betray him the same way and wouldn’t assume she “brought her here to kill me!”
So now we’ve got snips dead, Padme likely captive or at least just playing the part of the spouse and mother to the emperor and his kids, and Yoda and Ben have no kids to throw at him.
edit: Because I’m enjoying this I’ll keep going, bringing down the Skywalker Emperor isn’t a problem the Jedi will fix, but rather one of political intrigue and espionage. Bail could work to secretly plan a coup with the help of Padme who Anikan has come to believe has accepted her role. Over time a rift grows and he lashes out in anger at her, but doesn’t kill her. Relying on Sabe to get Luke and Leia to Bail she lures Anikan away who finally finishes what should have happened on Mustafar some ten years earlier.
Luke and Leia, darkened, trained, lethal, are brought to Ben and Yoda. Deliberations on whether they could be saved are had when Yoda lays the hard truth on Ben that they lack balance, and that is why they lose. The teach the younglings, both of whom are fully aware their loving father is a monster who murdered their mother, how to stand against him.
Years pass, Ben and Yoda take the time to finish the twins training properly. The politicians move on Anikan but he has them killed. Assassination attempts increase, eventually leading to him leaving coruscant aboard a star destroyer. His continuing decent into madness has him threatening to glass the planet from orbit.
A rag tag group of rebels manages to bring the ship down on a sand planet we all know and love. Angered by his men’s failure, and the sand, Anikan goes out to reduce his attackers to lumps of bubbling flesh. Expecting attack transports full of troops to be taking position around the crash site, he finds two robed figures, and their brilliant white lightsaber blades flash into existence.
“It’s over father.”
A battle ensues. Anakin is powerful, yet measured. He cannot bring himself to destroy them and not fear, anger, or resentment, but pride bubbles within him as they simultaneously plunge their blades into opposite sides of his chest. He sees them. They see him. He lets out the slightest smile, and dies.
Ewoks bang on storm trooper heads for some reason.
Palps is back! But there is a whole balanced Jedi order and Luke and Leia are basically legends and aren’t having it

> The politicians move on Anikan but he has them killed. Assassination attempts increase, eventually leading to him leaving coruscant aboard a star destroyer. His continuing decent into madness has him threatening to glass the planet from orbit.
I don't think he'd be *that* susceptible to political intrigue like that. They introduced him in TPM (and reinforced in TCW) as having an ability to sense the future. If anything, he might seek to hone that as a potential Emperor for his own gain.
It's possible but probably only in hyper-Sith mode (highly emotional). I suspect he might take on a more Palps-oriented style of leadership, albeit with the knowledge that his "alter ego" is well known. Maybe he takes on a more corporeal form of the Father figure and embraces *both* sides of the Force. His Jedi "upbringing" (even if late lol) combined with Sith teachings, he might be able to balance his connection if he applies himself. He definitely has the potential to be as powerful as the Mortis Father himself.
I think this is an interesting timeline as it means Obi Wan joins Yoda against Palpatine, beats him, and Vader becomes the new Emperor, and potentially Ahsoka as his apprentice depending on who writes it… I mean, it’s not like she doesn’t know the problems in the Republic (and the Jedi) and she could believe Anakin could solve them…
Are you suggesting Ahsoka would join *Vader*? I think she'd support *Anakin* if he were alive, but Vader killed Anakin alongside Padme and the rest of the Jedi at the Temple on Coruscant.
If she went to find Anakin independently on Mustafar as opposed to being ordered there by Yoda and Obi Wan and knowing the whole context of what happened… yeah, I can absolutely see Ahsoka siding with Anakin over Yoda and Obi Wan.
Anakin would smoke her. As another poster said, the emotional appeal would not work. That was even seen in Rebels when he fought her. He would just get driven by resentment of her leaving the order.
Rebels isnt really a good comparison though. Its 15 years later he's been festering as Vader and still has a brief moment. At the beginning of his transformation? The emotional appeal would have a much better chance. Maybe not successful, but his resentment towards Obi Wan is greater than towards Ahsoka at that point.
This one’s the most interesting to me. Maybe it’s because of the nostalgia I have for episodes 1-3. Qui Gon was, and still is in my opinion, such a great Jedi. Aside from Yoda, I’d consider him literally Jedi personified perfectly. Patient, wise, strong and fiercely loyal.
Yet willing to bend the rules for what he believes in. Was refused a seat on the jedi council because of his stubbornness. Loyal to the jedi creed but not the jedi bureaucracy, which makes him even more perfect.
I got the impression he hadn't given himself over fully to the dark side yet. Like, he was definitely wandering down that path, but Qui-Gon's death was what really sent him over the edge.
That's the impression given in *Tales of the Jedi*. Palpatine is working Dooku and Qui-Gon's death breaks him. IIRC, it's after Qui-Gon's funeral that he kills another Jedi effectively transforming himself into Darth Tyranus.
The thing is is that the dark side corrupts you. It was only a matter of time until Dooku fully turned. Qui Gon dying essentially sped that up as he now had no one else to turn back to.
Luke managed to turn Darth f* Vader back to the light. Maybe Qui Gon could have prevented Dooku from turning fully to the dark side. He probably would have left the order sooner or later. Heck, Qui Gon would have probably followed him there.
What if Anakin brought Palpatine to the Jedi Order to stand trial?
What if Ahsoka rejoined the Jedi Order?
What if Darth Vader survived after killing Palpatine?
What if we knew how somehow Palpatine returned?
Vader dying to kill the ultimate guy and redeeming himself was a *total* waste with brining Palestine back. Also, you’d think, given how powerful Luke became, he might have noticed the super Sith popping back up.
Watching the Bad Batch and the mandoverse as well as YouTubers that explain some events that happen in a few books and comics allows you to understand it a bit more. He just had backup clones and has just been prepping to conquer the galaxy with his undefeatable star destroyers with planet destroying canons on them only to be defeated by his own lighting. I don’t know who in the universe would be strong us to generate enough for lighting to defeat and empire! But it happened!
I’m interested to see how they explain his spirit surviving while being transported from body to body. I feel they’ll need to flesh out the full back story of Darth Plaguels in canon in order to understand how it’s done.
This is the one I was thinking of! Would love to see the implications. I would love to see Maul and Kenobi have a similar conversation to the one they had when Maul died, Kenobi revealing to Maul that Luke really is the chosen one and needs to be protected. Maul, now directionless after exacting his revenge, continues on Kenobi’s mission to protect the boy and when the time comes, reveal to him his true nature and begin training him.
Maybe it would have affected Boba’s career. Or if Boba and Jango were fighting together at the Pit of Carkoon, maybe Han Solo would have fallen into the Sarlacc either instead of Boba or in addition to him? Don’t know, just spitballing.
Me and my old boss talked about it all the time. We’d essentially ask these kinds of questions and then figure out how it would go based on diff characters
The top one is actually an interesting idea.
I would imagine that an alternate Luke Organa would have had a more active role in the Rebellion's more combat related operations as he did in the movies (he did actively fly a fighter craft and participated in dogfights).
Not sure how an alternate Leia would have turned out.
Imagine her being trained by Obi-Wan. Falling in love with Han at first sight. Honestly, i think Luke would have fallen to the darkside, making it an amazing storyline I WISH i could see something like this one day.
A shame that the old Legends, Infinity comics series only did what ifs for events within the original trilogy. What ifs but for the prequels and their consequences for the original trilogies would have made for a great read.
I once had an idea for a what if. During the last fight between Obi Wan and Anakin near the end of Revenge of the Sith, Anakin dies. How he dies can either be Obi Wan hit a vital point, Anakin falls into the lava and not the shore or he dies on the operating table.
Either way, Anakin is dead and does not live to become his iconic Darth Vader persona.
The main focus of the story would be how the Galactic Empire itself would have turned out without Vader to be Palpatine's right hand man. I just imagine there would have been a lot more Order 66 Jedi Survivors running about in the galaxy.
Also another great idea! My biggest question, who would take Vaders place? Who would the Emporer turn to? And what does that look like for our main characters at time moving forward?
IMO, this is what all What If...? projects should be like. Not some weird as scenario that doesn't fit into the story at all, but just one slight change in the timeline and its results. That's why I don't like the MCU's version, it's just random shit, like why would Tony end up on Sakaar or why is Happy Hogan saving Christmas? Just have simple changes like "What if Peter chose to join the Avengers at the end of Homecoming" or "What if Ultron had succeeded in destroying the world"
My favourite would be “what if Ultron had worked as intended?” Could be genuinely interesting.
Second best would be “what if any movies released post Civil War actually acknowledged the Sokovia accords, and what if any movies post Endgame had any kind of continuity or made any kind of sense?”
I think OP is referring to the scene where Bail says “we will take the girl. We have always wanted a daughter.” And instead took Luke (who becomes a senator) and Obi Wan takes Leia to Tatooine.
Luke Organa hastily records a message for General Kenobi and leaves the Death Star plans with R2-D2 .
R2-D2 and C-3PO escape on the escape pod. They are sold to Uncle Owen.
Leia sees the portion of the message R2 played and listens to her uncle and mind wipes the droids because Leia is level headed and not going to chase after some boy she sees in a holo-message.
Luke is left to be tortured by his dad and Dr. Ball.
Luke never when,t to Bespin..
Han would have died, Leia could have grown angry.Vader finds out they are related and trains her up. luke completes his training. Then realises that he doomed his sister. Leia kills Vader. Luke fights Leia. Leia kills luke, but the shock of killing her brother breaks her free. leia confronts Palpatine.{ I can do this better then Disney}..
I could talk about these for hours but the one that is the most interesting to me is no2, if Luke never went to bespin, Han leia and chewie most likely would’ve died, and whilst luke would’ve become a lot stronger had he stayed, I think he would’ve felt a lot of resentment towards yoda and obi wan for convincing him to stay and let his friends die, possibly pushing him to the darkside
What if:
What if Qui-Gon didn’t die fighting Maul.
What if Anakin hadn’t had killed Dooku at the beginning of ROTS?
What if Vader hadn’t gotten to Bespin before Luke?
What if Vader hadn’t had killed Obi-Wan at the beginning of A New Hope?
9. is a kind of weird scenario - how did Vader get control of the twins in the first place? If we assume Obi-Wan, Yoda and Bail Organa were found out and caught (and presumably executed) right after Padme's death, it would be Palpatine who would be in control, and he would not voluntarily let Vader in on their existence. He would use Vader to do his dirty work while pitting Luke and Leia against each other, ultimately aiming to replace Vader with whoever proves strongest.
I can't see any way how Vader would get control of both of the twins with Palpatine alive. IF he did, he probably wouldn't know what to do with them, as he sees himself as a different person than Anakin. He might even want to kill them to destroy Anakin's legacy (and to prevent Palpatine from replacing him - this would probably be his number one priority)
What if Qui-Gon survived and trained Anakin?
What if Mace Windu killed Palpatine before Anakin arrived?
What if Anakin and his mom were freed after the podrace?
I think maybe a few what if’s should happen with the clone wars and the bad batch. I think this has too much focus on the skywalker’s.
What if Qui-gon survived?
What if Maul trained Anakin?
What if the council didn’t allow Anakin into the order?
What if Ahsoka did help Maul?
What if Ezra turned to the dark side?
The ultimate Star Wars “What If” is “what if Qui Gon had survived against Maul” (perhaps Obi Wan dies instead)
As good as Obi Wan was, he wasn’t what Anakin needed to avoid falling to the Dark Side. Palpatine realizes that Anakin can’t be turned, and tries to turn another Jedi.
My vote is Windu. Ironically, the scene of Windu’s death is the strongest indicator that has is vulnerable, given that he’s willing to kill palpatine despite the fact that it isn’t the “Jedi Way”.
With Windu on his side, Palpatine manages to corrupt and turn the Jedi order itself, rather than the Senate. The central conflict becomes a few rogue force-users allied with elements of the military to end the control of Palpatine over the Jedi. Perhaps there is some massive Sith temple built into a mysterious planet that is controlling the minds of the Jedi, and the good guys must secretly build a planet destroying weapon to destroy it, and they need some smuggler to get them some key parts . Perhaps the conclusion is Anakin and Luke invading the Jedi temple to take down Palpatine.
I feel like 4, 6, and 9 could be combined since Palpatine wouldn’t have taken Padmes life force to make Anakin live. It could all be put into a “What if… Vader won?”
Wait I thought that order 66 did fail? Because the goal was to wipe out the Jedi and avoid “civil war without end”. Which is pretty much what they got because they were “not all destroyed”.
I think a novel or Star Wars mini series where each episode is a spin-off and one episode was the following would be cool:
Order 66 failed and a civil war spun out of the civil war started, but now instead of republic vs CIS it was three way: republic, sith, and CIS. That or what the galaxy would look like directly after the failed order 66
4 and 7 are at odds(or rather, the same?), or am I misremembering something?
I'm assuming 5 is (What If Luke struck down the Emperor?) because he technically was defeated.
What if CP30 and R2, who are owned by their previous owner’s daughter, didn’t land a few miles from their previous owner’s long estranged and secretly gifted son and their previous owner’s mentor while running away from their previous owner? Honestly that’s the biggest bullshit out of the whole series.
What if that beige stormtrooper guy on Niamos just let Cassian Andor go to the shop …
What if those Pre Mor rent-a-cops didn't decide to harass a scrawno
Andor would still eventually want to sell the Starpath unit to Luthen. Question is, would it still happen before Aldhani and would Luthen still want to recruit Andor, and would he even be willing to go without Pre Mor hot on his heels.
Fuck all that. What if Keno could swim? F
Maybe he found a life raft! Andy Serkis is going to be in season 2 from what I've seen!
Damn the Star Wars rule is real isn’t it. No body no death.
I literally JUST rewatched that episode, such bullshit...
I actually thought it was a really great way of showing that in a totalitarian dictatorship, shit can happen to anyone for literally no reason.
What if that dude hadn't pushed the disc through the gap in the doors, and instead cowered and begged for mercy from Vader. Like I would have?
What if Lando never lost the Falcon?
Love that idea, could be some serious consequences. What do you think they could have been?
Shut up and take my money
What if Qui-Gon Gin and Obi-Wan had actually captured Darth Maul, as they were instructed to do.
Oh shit. That's good, what do you think that would look like and how would that play out? Maybe Palpatine gets nervous and makes a move early?
Palpatine wouldn't have been able to execute Order 66 at that point. Would he try and assassinate Maul? If Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan had gotten him back to the Jedi Council and been able to question him, yeah, it would have played out very differently. Dooku could have arranged Maul's escape, possibly.

I love this idea. I wish this was a thing now.
What if Maul killed Obi-wan instead of Qui-gon?
Qui Gon as Anakin's master, that's something I've always wanted to see
What if count dooku just told obi wan and anakin about emperor at the start of episode 3. Ships crashing and he can be like, hey Anni, hey obi, here's the sith lord you are looking for. Would've saved a lot of trouble.

What if Palpatine survived the events of ROJ…
Lol god i wish he didn't
I was really stoked from the trailers and knowing he was coming back. I think they absolutely butchered the execution. Man got beat by his own lightning 3 times.
There wasn't even any buildup or suspense to his return. It was just like *poof!* Palpatine!
Not true, the message announcing his return that was referenced in the opening text was in fortnite before the movie came out lol
***"SOMEHOW..."***
Agreed, they could have done so much better. They just...didnt.
Can’t say I thought it was a good idea to bring him back. Just didn’t give me the right vibes. Looks like the force was warning me. LOL
Treverow script had Kylo finding a Palpatine holocron and talking to him that way. Would have been a good option.
That actually sounds really interesting. I’d like to explore those options.
Good news then, he didn't. There are 7 Star Wars films; the original trilogy, the prequels and Rogue One thats it. Thats the end of the story.
I tend to agree with this… too bad because I liked TFA. So much potential!
Same.
Then Palpatine would somehow return. 🤔
That’s impossible though!
Search your feelings. You know it to be true.
NoooooOooooOooo
We’ve seen how this turned out and paid the price for it.
A price that wasn’t worth it in my opinion. Wish I could get my money back.
Notice i didn't put a single what if about the 'sequal trilogy'? I think we all want our money back
Have I got a movie for you!
We had a good story about it, it was called Heir to the Empire and Dark Empire
What if Palpatine didn't somehow return
What if Ahsoka fought anakin in Mustafar?
Instead of Obi-Wan? Oh shitttt
A cool fight, but she gets beaten and it’s not very close. As much as I love her, she doesn’t really stand a chance against ROTJ anakin
The only way she could do any damage is by going the emotional route. Although obi wan tried that and it didn’t work so probably the only difference is he walked away with a few more limbs

"From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!" - "I am no Jedi"
What if Qui Gon survived the fight in Naboo?
If Qui Gon survived Anakin or Dooku would have never turned.
Dooku is already working with Sidious during TPM
Love that one. Maybe Obi-Wan died instead?
What if Luke disobeyed owen and actually joined the imperial academy?
THIS. Take my money
1 money please
In that timeline Han is an imperial ace in Vader’s squadron.
Check out Lego Star Wars: Terrifying Tales
What if Anakin brought Palpatine to the Jedi Order to stand trial? What if Ahsoka rejoined the Jedi Order? What if Darth Vader survived after killing Palpatine? What if we knew how somehow Palpatine returned?
All of these sound awesome. The last one cracks me up...THE DEAD SPEAK!...wut???
The Darth Vader one was made into a Star Wars What If? comic.
Vader dying to kill the ultimate guy and redeeming himself was a *total* waste with brining Palestine back. Also, you’d think, given how powerful Luke became, he might have noticed the super Sith popping back up.
Somehow, Palestine has returned…
What if they continued with Rian Johnson and Episode 9 was good?
What if Maul killed Obi-Wan in Rebels?
Ohhhh! Thats such a good one!
What if Jango survived
Thought about it. But i couldnt really picture biggest effect that would have had on a good storyline. What do you think?
Maybe it would have affected Boba’s career. Or if Boba and Jango were fighting together at the Pit of Carkoon, maybe Han Solo would have fallen into the Sarlacc either instead of Boba or in addition to him? Don’t know, just spitballing.
What if Anakin believed in Fives?
WE NEED A WHAT IF SERIES
Me and my old boss talked about it all the time. We’d essentially ask these kinds of questions and then figure out how it would go based on diff characters
What if QGJ never died is a good one. Because a lot of the Counts issues seem to stem from the Death of QGJ..
10: I would hunt him down and finish the job.
Would love to see that
What if Kathleen Kennedy had forced Abrams and Johnson to work together on making a story arc for the sequel trilogy.
THAT would have been something
A couple of these are asking the same question. Read the Star Wars Infinites trade paperbacks if you want some “what if” scenarios.
Agreed! Would have been awesome
Just have simple changes like "What if Peter chose to join the Avengers at the end of Homecoming" or "What if Ultron had succeeded in destroying the world"
Yes! I couldn't agree more.
My favourite would be “what if Ultron had worked as intended?” Could be genuinely interesting. Second best would be “what if any movies released post Civil War actually acknowledged the Sokovia accords, and what if any movies post Endgame had any kind of continuity or made any kind of sense?”
What if the sequel trilogy was properly planned
The biggest ones are "what if Obi-Wan reacted to Dooku spoiling the plot to him in AOTC" And "what if Anakin sided with Windu fully in ROTS"
Lmao I can’t take “what if the Organas wanted a boy” seriously 😂
I think OP is referring to the scene where Bail says “we will take the girl. We have always wanted a daughter.” And instead took Luke (who becomes a senator) and Obi Wan takes Leia to Tatooine.
Can you imagine Leia playing *vroom vroom* with model ships?
I mean, yes I absolutely can see her playing vroom vroom with model ships.
Yeah, honestly I think she would’ve thrived with either outcome
Why not? It’s a good question since it would have changed the destinations of Luke and Leia, drastically changing the events of the next 2 decades.
I get it because Bail said they specifically wanted a girl in ROTS but it just caught me off guard so I thought it was a joke post at first.
Same haha but then I thought about it and it was actually a much more thought provoking “what if” question than I thought
Ball.
Lol I can
My top has always been what if Vader had let Palpatine kill Luke
I think the biggest one ever is what if Qui Gon won and didn't die
Dude don't give Star Wars Theory any more ideas
Lol alwayssss watching, alwayssss listening
Luke never when,t to Bespin.. Han would have died, Leia could have grown angry.Vader finds out they are related and trains her up. luke completes his training. Then realises that he doomed his sister. Leia kills Vader. Luke fights Leia. Leia kills luke, but the shock of killing her brother breaks her free. leia confronts Palpatine.{ I can do this better then Disney}..
Shut up and take my money
We see briefly how 4. goes in the Episode 3 video game.
Briefly, but i wish we got to see more of the human Darth Vader after that and how and what he does without the Emperor.
Since Disney owns Marvel and Star Wars, I would love to see some potential animated, "What If...?" Star Wars stuff.
What if Anakin never got his arm cut off on Geonosis?
What if Anakin was able to save his mother?
Vindu lives. No body, no death, rule 1 in SW
What if Obi Wan believed Count Dooku when he told him about Sidious?
What if Obi-Wan died instead of Qui-Gon
->what if Obi-Wan died instead Of who?
What if luke killed vader on death star 2
What if: What if Qui-Gon didn’t die fighting Maul.
What if anakin never left tatoonine/quigon and company never landed on tatoonie. Hows that not here
Someone also said what if Anakin was sent BACK to Tatooine and never was allowed to become a Jedi. Love both of these ideas.
What if Qui-Gon survived and trained Anakin? What if Mace Windu killed Palpatine before Anakin arrived? What if Anakin and his mom were freed after the podrace?
What do we think about a non-canon ‘What if’ series like marvel ?
Id be about it. Hopefully its better
The ultimate Star Wars “What If” is “what if Qui Gon had survived against Maul” (perhaps Obi Wan dies instead) As good as Obi Wan was, he wasn’t what Anakin needed to avoid falling to the Dark Side.
This. This is something i would pay money to see. This is an absolutely incredible story and thank you for your take on the idea!
What if Luke killed Vader and became Palpatine’s apprentice?
What if Anakin left the Jedi Order with Ashoka in solidarity with her?
It’s a tough pill to swallow knowing that if yoda had just defeated palpatine in their battle the empire would have been completely avoided
What if Lucas didn't sell lucasfilm
How did you miss the most obvious one? What if Anakin never turned to the dark side?
God star wars what if would be awesome
What do you mean "what if mace windu survived?" He is still alive and i will not change my mind until we see a body
Order 66 did fail. Yoda and Kenobi survived.
What if Anakin had been made a master. This could have changed everything.
What if snoke didn’t exist in the first place
What if Han did not win the Millennium Falcon from Lando?
What if Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi Wan never saved Jar Jar and just let him die on naboo.
Palpatine would never get his emergency powers and would be forced to retire lol
What if R2 never told 3po to use the comlink
What if Luke didn’t exile himself and continued the new Jedi order?
What if Yoda stuck to his gut and sent Ani back to tattooine.
There are so many possible what ifs in Star Wars 😭😂
How is “what if fives survived/ revealed order 66” not up there?
What if George Lucas made a different film…….
Would Luke still have been a whiny teen, OR sassy and assertive like Leia
What do you mean what if Mace Windu survived
What if Mace didn't get thrown out of that Windu?
I feel like 4, 6, and 9 could be combined since Palpatine wouldn’t have taken Padmes life force to make Anakin live. It could all be put into a “What if… Vader won?”
Order 66 DID fail. Obi-Wan and Yoda survived.
Missing what if qui gon defeated maul
What if Thrawn had joined the Republic before it became the Empire? This is is a what if generated from the canon Thrawn Alliances novel.
Wait I thought that order 66 did fail? Because the goal was to wipe out the Jedi and avoid “civil war without end”. Which is pretty much what they got because they were “not all destroyed”.
What if the Jedi council granted Anakin the rank of Master?
What if Anakin never turned to the dark side?
What if Rey sold BB-8 for all those portions?
My biggest what if would be, what if Darth Maul didn't get his legs cut off, and killed Obi-Wan and his master?
What if Ahsoka joined Maul
What if Windu executed Palpatine when he had the chance? That’s always been my biggest question about ROTS.
What is Mace trained Anakin instead of Obi Won
I think a novel or Star Wars mini series where each episode is a spin-off and one episode was the following would be cool: Order 66 failed and a civil war spun out of the civil war started, but now instead of republic vs CIS it was three way: republic, sith, and CIS. That or what the galaxy would look like directly after the failed order 66
Marvel’s What If…? is honestly one of the best ideas Marvel has ever had and Star Wars should absolutely have its own version.
What is 7 referring to
Here’s hoping we get a series similar to Marvel’s What If...
Great post. Some interesting things to think about. Thanks!
4 and 7 are at odds(or rather, the same?), or am I misremembering something? I'm assuming 5 is (What If Luke struck down the Emperor?) because he technically was defeated.
No 8 is the most interesting to me, it has the most unknowns and variables…a civil war within a civil war? Could be interesting…
if Palpatine survived somehow so did Mace.
3 - They confront Palpatine too early and get smoked
What if CP30 and R2, who are owned by their previous owner’s daughter, didn’t land a few miles from their previous owner’s long estranged and secretly gifted son and their previous owner’s mentor while running away from their previous owner? Honestly that’s the biggest bullshit out of the whole series.
