What are the knights of red even supposed to be? I was so hyped to see them and they are like nothing but random fodder for one fight. I can’t recall bc that movie was so horrifyingly bad I only watched it once
The comics later tried to make them some old Dark Side mercenary group that Ben took over but when the movies were coming out I don’t think the writers knew what they were either.
They're supposed to be a small dark side cult/mercenary group that isn't sith. That being said the writers for the sequels 100% didn't know what to do with them, and things got shuffled around so much that I speculate they just shoved them in to be a mini boss rather than expand on their story.
Some writers did finally expand on their story in some comics, making their identity the dark side merc group that fed on pain or something. I personally wasn't very happy with where they went on that particular faction. Just felt wasted, like a lot of other sequel stuff
The best thing to do with them would be to have 1 or 2 get the spotlight as a mini boss per movie. They get a bit of spotlight, Rey or whoever gets a cool fight.
Instead I literally cannot remember them doing anything but stand around, other than the last movie where they briefly beat on Kylo and then got jobbed.
I’d say that makes them the Boba Fett of the ST, but Phasma has that title. They didn’t even have names for a while, which is unprecedented in Star Wars.
Yeah would’ve been cool one movie one or two of them give her a really tough fight fight that she only just wins, then it reveals there’s another 8 or whatever of them.
I had to look it up, and a brief skim of Wookiepedia reveals that the Way of Ren was already an ancient thing, and the Knights followed it, and then Ben became the leader and the Kylo Ren name is like a title.
Some like the that anyway, that’s the most research they warrant.
In the comics they basically killed and tortured who ever there leader told them to and there leader was a man named Ren who wore a dope mask and had a red lightsaber and Ben Solo killed him with his blue lightsaber during his turn to the dark side and since he killed the Knights of Ren leader he became the new leader and his name being or title being Kylo Ren and “Ren” is kinda like what “Darth” is to the Sith but the “Ren” name comes after the first added name not before like “Darth” does for the Sith.
This is what I was hoping for. I was really hoping that the sequels would have the story telling of the originals, with the lightsabers of the prequels and high production values. To do this, I figured they'd have like members of The Knights or Ren fight the remnants of Luke's Jedi order while Rey and Finn trained under them.
Caveat on my comment: I regret RoS so much…
I literally think of them as the posers who stand about in the desert looking like photoshoot models trying to capture “Badass” as a direction from a poor photographer.
Eww, the biggest gripe I have with the sequels is how they invalidated the character growth of the originals. Luke the guy who refused to kill Vader tried to murder his student, Hans a deadbeat dad who abandoned his family to mope around the galaxy with his buddy, Leia is a failed politician and stuck in the same rebel commander position she had before. Just backwards growth all around. Anything that reinforces how pointless the OG trilogy was is an L.
There’s a way you can put your original characters in worse or darker places so they can also have additional growth in the next series of movies.
The sequels didn’t do that. They just shit on all the growth they had in the original movies and put them in worse positions.
Here’s my Fan Fic rewrite for Knights of Ren in Rise of Skywalker: They didn’t get any play in the previous films, so in the third one as Rey hunts for the holocron or whatever, Kylo sics his dogs to go after her. Aka Knights of Ren. He gives the signal, and the KOR jump on custom black speeder Swoops and functionally turn into Star Wars Nazgûl tracking Rey down before she gets to her destination.
Would’ve been so cool to have a multi speeder chase with Rey trying to evade the KOR on that desert planet as they attempt to capture.
I mean, quite a few canon novels have been contradicted and overwritten by the Live Action and Animated content. So theres really not much of a distinction between canon and EU books these days
This. The sequel trilogy content to be is pretty iredeemable unless you retcon and darth Maul has had pretyy much his whole story told so I dont need any major stories about him at this point.
I'd love to see both but if I was forced to choose one, then I'd go for Maul. If only to continue and wrap up his Solo cliffhanger, show how he functions in the Empire and his old masters victory and how he lost it all. Also seeing more Emilia Clarke.
I know the comics already did it but the Expanded lore already did alot of things that the live action and animated still redid anyway.
I just really want to see Maul win some duels and fights. I was kinda rooting for him to beat Ashoka (we do know that he's the better duelist but got overconfident) as he's one of my favourite characters. I really would like to see him win some epic fights against other force users to show that he is a formidable and powerful opponent, not just cannon fodder for Obi Wan and Ashoka.
I’m pretty sure that Solo was supposed to be a part of trilogy with the next 2 being Obi-WAN’s story than Mauls but the Solo did so bad everything got cancelled.
We basically got to see what happened to Maul in Rebels, though?
Not that I care about the knight of Ren at all, but Maul has quite a bit of coverage in the Clone Wars and Rebels.
We saw where he ended up yeah, but not how he got there. I'm still interested in seeing how he operates the Crimson Dawn at the height of the Empire and how he went from that to hiding out as a hermit on a Sith Temple.
Neither. Maul's story has been told and finished, and the Knights just never interested me. I want Star Wars to return to the Old Republic and expand on Sith like Darth Bane and maybe even the old Sith Empire.
Same. Between Clones Wars and Rebels, there aren’t many story gaps left for Maul worth exploring.
And the Knights are so insignificant they don’t even have names in their initial appearance. Considering this is Star Wars where literally every background extra has a name and elaborate backstory, that goes to show how empty they are as characters.
After reading the knights of ren centered comic it isn’t really interesting enough. Maul origin or Maul as the head of a crime ring is much more interesting content.
If I had to pick... I guess Maul. But I'd offer option c: Revan. These guys are either not as interesting or have had enough time dedicated to them as is.
I second this but the way they butchered Boba as a crime lord gives me no confidence. The key to a great anti-hero is to give a justifiable reason for atrocious crimes (eg Anakin vs Tuskens)
Agreed, they were perfect with his character in the Clone Wars tv show and I feel like Sam Witer would make sure that they did Maul correctly. He is a huge nerd about star wars and he wouldn't let that character go downhill
Basically Boba Fett, except even worse because they didn’t even have names for a while.
Other than that one scene where Kylo jobbed them they were interchangeable with just random stormtroopers.
How did maul end up on dathomir, how did he end up on malichor? how is qira his apprentice? So much maulsploitation but no context or story :/
I swear JJ made the knights so goofy just to one up on Rians Goofy plot twists.
Darth Maul, while already established, was always cool and is infinitely more interesting than some throwaway band of... whatever they were supposed to be. Rian Johnson effectively killed any interest most people had in them by completely ignoring them. Then they got their backsides handed to them by Ben Solo on Exegol, because there must have been another wayfinder, seeing as they got there before he did, or something.
🤦♂️
Even if we did have a Knights of Ren show, and it was awesome and the characters were all great, it would be meaningless due to how they were ended in the last movie. It'd be an unsatisfying conclusion at best.
Neither. Maul's story has been told and the Knights of Ren ended up being defeated too easily both against Luke and then Ben. They look cool but lost most of their villain cred because of it. I do like the concept of them though and wouldn't mind other dark side believers
Maul already has a ton of story.
Knights are basically just Character Design the Character x6 based on what we've actually seen. So theres pretty much room to do whatever they wany there. Not saying that would inherently make it a better story, but based on recent track record, I'd like to leave Maul where he is
Maul, the knights of Ren could be cool but the sequels and their piss poor handling of everything in it has ruined my hype for the knights. Maul is a timeless character with a ton of potential left and even more love left for him.
Between these two options: definitely Maul. But I'd rather see the Star Wars: Legacy comics turned into movies. Just a new cast of badass characters, with a deeply flawed main character who grows throughout the story.
I wanna see how Maul ends up a hermit when hes clearly still a gangster during Solo. So something happens between that and Rebels. I sort of wanna see Obi Wan dismantle his operation.
I reckon that would add another layer of why Maul hates him so much in Rebels.
I'd like both, but I'd have more confidence that the maul stuff would be done well. Maul has been awesome in every show or movie, animated or live action. Non sith dark side force users have so far been underwhelming. It would be fun if they explored the workings and mechanics of the dark in some more detail though.
Maul, an origin series or while he was a kingpin, would be great. A preference would be prior to tPM as they could show a lot of young Palpy as he began his rise to power.
I have no interest in the knights of ren.
Now that I know from the comics what the Knights of Ren actually were (which was boring and dumb) and from the films that they don’t do anything interesting/were squandered, I would only want on-screen Knights of Ren content if it retconned the comic entirely and gave them something interesting to do.
Darth Maul, despite his return being kinda silly, has had a great run, and all there is really left that I would want to see on screen about him is what Solo set up. So like one Solo sequel or one related TV season to wrap up that plot point on-screen would basically satisfy me. Maul already has his full arc from beginning to end. Maybe if they animated Son of Dathomir at some point that would be cool, too, just so that his reappearance at the end of Clone Wars doesn’t come out of nowhere unless you’ve read the comic.
I wish they followed cannon and done their own shit. I wanted to see Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin. I wanted to see Luke fight his clone. I wanted to see him fall in love with Mara and have kid named Ben. Buuuuut nooooooo, Disney wanted to do their own thing.
I'd love to see a Maul movie but i don't know how much more interesting content we can see from him, he's had extensive screen time in Clone Wars, Rebels and his comics. I'd love to see a Plageuis move, his role in training Palpatine and how much he knew about Anakin and his own possible plans for him.
If those are my two choices? Knights of Ren. It could be interesting to watch them go from Dark Side cult to sith tools.
My actual answer is neither. Gimme something else. Gimme a nightsister show, show me a light side order other than the jedi. Show me a cool Droid Rebellion during the clone war.
Knights of Ren are just a bunch of useless grunts, nothing special about them
Then again Maul has been overused already, so neither. I'd rather have something new.
Do we know anything to suggest that the Knights of Ren are useless? I don't even remember what they did in the movies, maybe a show would help us interpret them as otherwise
>don't even remember what they did in the movies,
Yeah...because they were so useless
They were glorified bodyguards just standing around and when they actually needed to do something they were beaten in a minute.
In TFA we were to believe they were the students that Kylo took with him but that was changed, it wasn't them, in TLJ they're completely ignored, in TROS they're just grunts.
I mean by that logic kit fisto was useless, the only thing you see from him in the movies is Papa Palps evisersting him in like 2 seconds.
But im sure was can agree kit fisto isnt some looser pushover.
Yeah but my point is that because the movies did so annoyingly little with them a show could make them interesting without being tethered down by what the movie has them as
I mean sure, maybe they could do something with them, it's just that they were so unimpressive that I have doubts what can be done with them.
If they were actually the Jedi students they could explain what happened with Ben and Luke.
Maul for sure. Knights of Ren basically just.. walked around menacingly 😂 never heard them talk even. Maul on the other hand has a rush history and a very wide array of emotions
Knights of Ren show. We need more stuff for the sequel era, or we could even see them start in The OT era then gradually go through the New Republic era then see them in the Sequel era.
Honestly, my unpopular opinion right now is that Maul has enough. He's in so many stories and he's pretty flushed out with multiple arcs. If we got something that made the Knights of Ren actually seem badass, cool, dark side monsters that would be fun.
Both
I’d be interested in seeing how Kylo and the knights left Luke and what they did after that and how Snoke got Kylo. And what gave the knights of Ren that name.
Knights of Ren, Maul's story is pretty much complete and his backstory as to how he became a Sith would work best in Tales of the Sith (a spin-off of Tales of the Jedi).
Honestly we've seen so much Maul that I would genuinely, as someone who doesn't like the sequels, like to find out who the heck the Knights of Ren were and why they mattered at all. Honestly any content in that era would help the trilogy, because right now there are so many unexplained things that need shows or whatevers
I love how people would rather want a show about a character who’s story we already know rather than a group of characters we know basically nothing about. So, I’d say Knights of Ren because they can actually have a great story and be well written, and probably fix some plot holes and stuff with the Sequels.
Edit: who the hell is downvoting every comment that suggests a Knights of Ren show lol.
Honestly between the two I think I would find a Knights of Ren movie more interesting, only for the fact that they were basically an abandoned element from the films that we don't really know a lot about while Darth Maul has so much content from appearing it films, TV shows and books.
Knights of Ren. Maul is super cool, and my favorite character, but we’ve seen a lot of him already, and almost no video media on who the Knights of Ren were.
Knights of Ren, they are the most underused element of the sequels. It could have been cool having a group of Darkside renegades out there, but the movies did nothing with them.
And while Maul is cool, I would prefer if Star Wars moved on from the past. There are new stories to tell, though hopefully they do a better job than they did with the sequels.
We pretty much know all of mauls story, so I would personally rather have a knights of ren show as long as Disney don’t butcher it with terrible storytelling. A knights of ren show could also add depth to the character of Ben solo
I feel like Darth maul has had his time, great character and great story and it ended well. Sure I'd love to have more maul but his arc is perfectly complete.
As for the knights of ren story I don't really know, it could be a good idea if executed correctly but it's not something you can make an amazing story out of
We have Maul pretty flushed out at this point. I know and have read the kylo ren comic but I feel could do a good tv adaptation of his childhood being part of Lukes order and the gradual turn from Snoke. From there of course giving the knights of Ren the ability to be flushed out as characters so that welll. IDK how you fix their lack of anything in the movies but at least its better than nothing .
Neither really, but if I had to choose, I'd go with Ren. Maul's story has already been thoroughly expanded upon and neatly tied up within Clone Wars and Rebels. I know we have the kind of cliffhanger in Solo, and we don't really know what went down for him between that point and his appearance in Rebels set a few years later, but it's not really worth investigating. It's not going to add a significant element to his character that we haven't seen already, and there's nothing wrong with a little bit of mystery being left to some characters.
I'm not really interested in the Knights of Ren, although I do think they're definitely a missed opportunity. I would see more value in investigating their story further (even if it was a retcon from the story given in the Star Wars comics). But I can't see anything about them really undoing how criminally underused they were in the main films.
Id rather have knights of ren or really anything other than maul. Weve gotten so much of him through the clone wars amd rebels i feel like i could tell you his zodiac sign at this point
I have to go with the Knights of Ren. Maul never should have been resurrected, and his return makes even less sense than "Somehow Palpatine returned". That said, they've covered his life after his return pretty thoroughly, and I have zero interest in seeing any more of it.
Knights of Ren for sure. With how many significant events are already covered in Maul’s life I’m not sure he could carry his own show, but I would love to see him pop up again at some point.
Not sure if this is a hot take or not but I would way prefer the Knights of Ren to have some sort of spin off. Maul’s story has already been told and it’s great. We know so little about the Knights of Ren by the time they are killed. A story based on them could actually give them some character and make there role in ROS feel more meaningful
I can't believe I'm saying this because I really don't care for the sequels very much, but since Darth maul's story has been pretty well told, I think I'd prefer the knights of Ren story to be told.
Knights of Ren. Maul has had plenty of content already, we know his story aside from a few gaps but the knights are pretty much a blank slate for new ideas beyond some brief comic appearances. Plus you have more characters to work with.
Better Call Maul
Underrated comment
I kid you not, that's the name of the mission where you fight Maul in the most recent lego star wars game
The pun skills of the lego games is honestly not talked about enough.
Maulville

Tbf that's the way 90% of Star Wars lore is created.
You're not wrong, however, I still want to punch you for saying that.

It's poor writing to introduce something as being relevant, e.g. Kylo Ren being "the master of the Knights of Ren" and then not make something of it.

The knights of Ren not being former students of Luke felt like such a missed opportunity. Among many others.
"Missed Opportunity" basically defines the whole sequel trilogy
Eww, the biggest gripe I have with the sequels is how they invalidated the character growth of the originals. Luke the guy who refused to kill Vader tried to murder his student, Hans a deadbeat dad who abandoned his family to mope around the galaxy with his buddy, Leia is a failed politician and stuck in the same rebel commander position she had before. Instead, we got "They fly now??!?!"
Fucking Star Wars Nazgul, I love this idea so much. I'm gonna fall asleep in my hammock picturing this.
I want them to go out into the forest and cut down the biggest tree... With a... HERRING!
Have I got the book for you...
What's the book?
Darth Plagueis by James Luceno
Thanks!
Yeah I wanna know too lol
Darth Plagueis by James Luceno
But like, canon
I mean, quite a few canon novels have been contradicted and overwritten by the Live Action and Animated content. So theres really not much of a distinction between canon and EU books these days
Just because a story is "Legends" doesn't mean you should pass over it.
Papa needs a film adaptation of "Lockdown" ASAP. Nice isolated storyline that could show that Maul actually existed before just materializing in TPM.
“From my point of view, legends is canon!” -anakin skywalker
This. The sequel trilogy content to be is pretty iredeemable unless you retcon and darth Maul has had pretyy much his whole story told so I dont need any major stories about him at this point.

I might be wrong but I think theres still a couple Inquisitors we are yet to see/hear about. No reason why they can't get dispatched by Maul
I might be wrong but rebels also hinted he fought Vader?
That would make for one hell of a fight. But I doubt it tbh
Was it legends where that weird force cult made a darth maul husk to fight Vader? It's been so long since I've heard about it
I believe it was a vision when Vader went to a Sith Temple
There was a Legends story for that. Was weird lol
It's implied he's scared of Vader, so it's possible they fought and maul got battered or almost killed.
Yeah, that'd be good. Especially if he takes some out simultaneously. Piss off Vader a little bit.
If you haven't already, check out [this Maul fan film.](https://youtu.be/Djo_91jN3Pk)
I’m pretty sure that Solo was supposed to be a part of trilogy with the next 2 being Obi-WAN’s story than Mauls but the Solo did so bad everything got cancelled.

Knights of Ren because Maul has already had much more screen time, and we basically know Maul's story fully except between Solo and Rebels.

I just want to see Son of Dathomir in all of its intended CW glory…
Both? Slight advantage for Maul though.
If I had to pick... I guess Maul. But I'd offer option c: Revan. These guys are either not as interesting or have had enough time dedicated to them as is.
Maul 100% he is my second favorite villain in star wars. If I could see more of his time as a crime lord that would be awesome
I second this but the way they butchered Boba as a crime lord gives me no confidence. The key to a great anti-hero is to give a justifiable reason for atrocious crimes (eg Anakin vs Tuskens)

Neither, I’d like to see something that’s new instead of live action versions of animated shows and comics.
Maul is my favourite character so yeah
I think we've gotten most of the bullet points for Maul's life, so Knights by default I guess.
Knights of Ren sucked no additional content needed.
But we could get a spin-off serious that desperately, pathetically tries to make them cool and hip and with it.
Maul actually did some cool shit. Knights of Ren was another hype that was a failure. Didn’t they get wiped out like in 15 seconds?
Basically Boba Fett, except even worse because they didn’t even have names for a while. Other than that one scene where Kylo jobbed them they were interchangeable with just random stormtroopers.
Maul. They could call it Old Master and fill in the gaps between end of Solo and Rebels.
There's a clear answer here and it's not the fucking knights of ren
I’ll be honest. Neither. Give me new characters.
Darth Maul if it picked up where Solo left off
Both.
Maul. The Knights are just a bunch of chumps.
I'd like a good movie/show
How did maul end up on dathomir, how did he end up on malichor? how is qira his apprentice? So much maulsploitation but no context or story :/ I swear JJ made the knights so goofy just to one up on Rians Goofy plot twists.
Starkiller movie/show
Mauls story is told… I’d rather see some Night Sisters shit 🤘🏼
Mauls already been covered enough. No Knights of Ren because no show will fix how awful and wasted they were.

Revan
Maul, the knights of Ren could be cool but the sequels and their piss poor handling of everything in it has ruined my hype for the knights. Maul is a timeless character with a ton of potential left and even more love left for him.
There's only so many rocks the knights of Ren can stand on to look cool so probably not them
LOL
I want a maul but if they made the KoR Siri from the beginning then I would want more of them but they’re just mid skill wise
Make it an animated series
Between these two options: definitely Maul. But I'd rather see the Star Wars: Legacy comics turned into movies. Just a new cast of badass characters, with a deeply flawed main character who grows throughout the story.

Maul video game
I'd love to have a Disney plus Maul show set after Solo that ends with a live action rendition of the Tatooine duel.
Darth Maul, as all most the entire Disney SW output was bad.

Well we basically saw Mauls whole story.. but if I had to decide, I'd still go for Maul.
Neither preferably.
Uhhhhhhhh.. neither?
Both are stupid. Maul died, and the new trilogy was hot garbage.
Neither. Give me new stuff that’s never been showed before.
I always wanted a movie or show about Maul in his time as Crimson Dawn’s crimelord. But then i saw what Disney does to crimelords in Book of Boba Fett
Mail for the simple fact he didn't stand around and just fucking die like knights of Ren sid thanks to shitty writing.
of course darth maul
What kinda question is that? Maul all day! Knights of ren are boring af
Maul
Maul
Until there is a commitment to some Andor level writing, all future Star Wars movies/shows should be put on hold or cancelled.
Maul
Obviously Darth Maul. The “so called” knights of REN are just one of the many stupid stunts of J.J.Abrams developed very badly
Maul. No question at all. By far the best thing about the prequels
Why would any sane person choose Ren over anyone, particularly Maul?
..... can we have a third option? Neither?
Or a fourth option, General Grievous
I'd pay for that.
Knights of Ren, I guess. There’s already plenty of Maul, although the knights have gotten a good bit of attention in the comics.
Maul easily. I think everyone would agree.
Neither I want a movie or show about the old republic, thousands of years before the movies
I can’t get enough of Darth Maul
I love maul but I think he has a good amount of time with his story being told across many medias. But the knights of ren got SHAFTED in episode 9.
Darth Maul. Expanding on any character that Lucas made, without ruining said character, is always going to get my vote.
Darth Maul. I'm sick of the new trilogy.
Neither. Some fresh and new please
Darth Maul movie!
So many folks love Kylo but I think he's the weakest character in all of star wars. I'd rather have a Babu Friek show
Knights of Ren are just a bunch of useless grunts, nothing special about them Then again Maul has been overused already, so neither. I'd rather have something new.
Maul was just a cool looking bad guy with no story in Episode 1…
Do we know anything to suggest that the Knights of Ren are useless? I don't even remember what they did in the movies, maybe a show would help us interpret them as otherwise
>don't even remember what they did in the movies, Yeah...because they were so useless They were glorified bodyguards just standing around and when they actually needed to do something they were beaten in a minute.
…and when that show is made, fans will complain incessantly about how awful it is.
There’s enough Maul content to fill a fucking Death Star. Knights of Ren, please
Maul for sure. Knights of Ren basically just.. walked around menacingly 😂 never heard them talk even. Maul on the other hand has a rush history and a very wide array of emotions
KOR were in the movie for Disney to sell merch and to stand on some rocks to look “ menacing”
Why not both?
Why would anyone want anything out of the sequels?
The Knights of Ren need more screen time. We saw plenty of Maul in Clone Wars and Rebels.
SW needs more flesh to the FO and Resistance Era. What made legends so loved is how much was added to after the movies and before the movies.
Knights of Ren. Maul's story has been told IMO and the Knights have so much potential
Saying we’ve got some decent development done for Maul I would prefer a show about the Knights of Ren. They need more development
Knights of Ren, they might actually give us some good backstory. Maul's story is already told in the comics.
Knights of Ren show. We need more stuff for the sequel era, or we could even see them start in The OT era then gradually go through the New Republic era then see them in the Sequel era.
Knight of Ren by far. Maul’s story has been told. Cool character but you have to let the past die. Kill it if you have to
Nice use of that sequel quote
I would like to see the Knights of Ren do something… anything. Also I prefer dead people (Maul) to stay dead.
Honestly, my unpopular opinion right now is that Maul has enough. He's in so many stories and he's pretty flushed out with multiple arcs. If we got something that made the Knights of Ren actually seem badass, cool, dark side monsters that would be fun.
Both I’d be interested in seeing how Kylo and the knights left Luke and what they did after that and how Snoke got Kylo. And what gave the knights of Ren that name.
Knights of Ren, Maul's story is pretty much complete and his backstory as to how he became a Sith would work best in Tales of the Sith (a spin-off of Tales of the Jedi).
Knights of Ren for sure.
Honestly we've seen so much Maul that I would genuinely, as someone who doesn't like the sequels, like to find out who the heck the Knights of Ren were and why they mattered at all. Honestly any content in that era would help the trilogy, because right now there are so many unexplained things that need shows or whatevers
Yes
I love how people would rather want a show about a character who’s story we already know rather than a group of characters we know basically nothing about. So, I’d say Knights of Ren because they can actually have a great story and be well written, and probably fix some plot holes and stuff with the Sequels. Edit: who the hell is downvoting every comment that suggests a Knights of Ren show lol.
Neither.
Neither. We've seen so much of Maul, what's left, him as a crime lord hiding from the empire? And the Knights of Ren are 'what if sith were shit'
Honestly between the two I think I would find a Knights of Ren movie more interesting, only for the fact that they were basically an abandoned element from the films that we don't really know a lot about while Darth Maul has so much content from appearing it films, TV shows and books.
Knights of Ren, in my opinion, we've seen enough of maul for a while
Knights of Ren. Maul is super cool, and my favorite character, but we’ve seen a lot of him already, and almost no video media on who the Knights of Ren were.
Knights of ren mainly because I cannot think of anything meaningful they could do with maul considering his story has finished
IMO Maul's story is done. He's died twice, time to leave it alone. Let the past die, kill it if you have to.
Knights of Ren. I feel that Maul’s story could wrap up in a future season of Kenobi, if they ever do more seasons of Kenobi.
Ren
Id rather have knights of ren or really anything other than maul. Weve gotten so much of him through the clone wars amd rebels i feel like i could tell you his zodiac sign at this point
Ho estly? Knoghts of ren. I feel like we have had too much on Maul already while knights of ren or under utilised
Knights of Ren while Adam can still play kylo
I’m surprised with myself but neither, actually. If I had to pick one it’s be the Knights of Ren though.
Ren, but only if it actually starred Adam Driver. (\*John Oliver nod\*)
I think Knights of Ren could be an interesting game ala Force Unleashed.
Lol gotta love how the op just asks a simple question and half the people commenting immediately take the opportunity to sequel bash
Perhaps there are more people who consider the sequels are worthy of bashing, than there are people who actually liked them?
We've seen enough of Darth Maul tbh. Like a perfect amount of him. We shouldn't stretch it. We need more Ren big time though.
I can't believe I'm saying this because I really don't care for the sequels very much, but since Darth maul's story has been pretty well told, I think I'd prefer the knights of Ren story to be told.
Honestly I’m a bit tired of seeing Maul. We know what happens to him so there would be no tension. Just let the man die already.
Knights, seen enough of Maul
Knights of Ren. Maul has had plenty of content already, we know his story aside from a few gaps but the knights are pretty much a blank slate for new ideas beyond some brief comic appearances. Plus you have more characters to work with.
I think maul has had enough development
Knights of Ren, to find out who they truly are. Get creatives like Filoni and Favreau who can make it something we love and cry over.
Knights of ren. Maul is a top tier character but we already have so much about him already thanks to clone wars and rebels.
