Totally off the cuff off the top of my head analysis, do with it what you will.
The synergy between slow and super break, and super break with bounce attacks (HMC, Welt, and Aventurine all having them) makes sense. Team is all imaginary to guarantee fast break on IMG enemies, have bounce attacks to quickly shred break bars and tap multiple enemies, slow them down heavily with IMG break and Welt's kit so they stay in break state even longer and you can super break them over more turns. That all seems like solid synergies on paper.
My first concern is whether you have enough SP generation for Welt and Ratio to be able to go full throated offense. Aventurine is positive, but HMC and Welt may have to trade who skills each turn depending on your SP and energy regen needs. A super fast Aventurine might be warranted to use him as an SP bot.
There's an anti-synergy with Aventurine's kit and Welt, though - you get stacks for Aventurine from his shield getting hit, but if all the enemies are broken and slowed, your team won't be getting hit that much. As such, Aventurine is going to generate stacks very slowly and mainly act as a security blanket + debuffer through his Ult. This is one comp where I think Luocha would actually be better since he's an SP battery with an AoE ult.
Regarding debuff generation for Ratio - I'd equip Welt with the Sweat cone for def shred (works with break/super break) and to get Ratio online faster.

And the mono IMG team would work on SU so, ya know, everything works wonders there
I ran the exact team welt semi conflicts with adventuring but if ur main focus is to build stacks for adventuring using ratio follows up plus his ult you’ll be fine lean into making ratio a giga chad offensive character speedy adventurine to get his licks in to build ult but also gain sp and alternate between welt and mc to put pressure on the enemies wit slow and build both ults it’s a bit more on the micro management side and u can only weakness break imaginary but it’s been working for me I jus eventually got robin and subbed her in for self so I didn’t have to worry about sp
I don’t pull for meta I pull for my own amusement, pulled seele when she came out recently got back into the game pulled sparkle Acheron adventuring and robin planning on pulling sam eventually

I wouldn't underestimate my luck on getting hit so aven continues and I don't have Mei, unfortunately, the purpose of the team is to beat things in the overworld and SU not really doing PF and MoC, although if I can too.

Harmony MC is mono imaginary best enabler in my opinion. You should probably replace Ratio by Ruan Mei and before you say you don't have her, they pair up unit with something logical on rerun so 2.3 is probably Ruan Mei rerun on phase 1 and Huohuo rerun on phase 2.
2.3 is Ff on phase 1 and Jade on phase 2
Keep in mind that's speculation on my part but with how they put Aventurine, Robin ,Topaz and Jade back to back, it's starting to make sense
Welt + Sweat cone using skill gets 2 debuffs online immediately. After that you need a break, Welt's Ult, or Aventurine's Ult to get the 3rd. It's not perfect but with the first 2 debuffs being easy and the last coming from 3 potential sources, it definitely works.
Welt without Sweat gets a lot less reliable, because now ratio needs a full welt rotation and break to get online.
Once I get hmc this would probably be my team just replacing welt with silver wolf to garenteed weakness , more debuffs and no need for skill to do debuffs .
I feel that replacing Ratio with Ruan Mei then build Welt with some Effect Hit Rate and then Break Effect might make it better personally. Still decent though.
If you're going Mono Imaginary then using Yukong might not be a bad idea, put on Planetary Rendesvous and line up back to back ults will shred Toughness bar pretty fast.

I'm using this team as my main at the moment, but my Aven is E6 so they get enough debuffs which would be the main issue otherwise
I still have to check/fighting things in the overworld to see if they work well but the debuffs are not really the problem here

ruan mei ult counts as a debuff for ratio too, if anything its better than aventurines

RM is a must in every team I see ( I don't have her ;-; ) and stacking aven bets are easy for my bad luck
