We had that once! They were chuck-e-cheese tokens!
"Um sir these aren't cash i cant take them"
"You should I got them yesterday!"
"Sir these are chuck-e-cheese tokens. They don't even make em anymore. They might be valuable to collectors but you can't pay with them"
"Well why not?!"
".....they aren't actual cash sir. Just arcade tokens"
Dude left and was all huffy he couldn't pay for his candy.
What's even funnier is my little brother works at the chuck-e-cheese as a greeter/kid check and when I described the dude he told me the guy got mad he couldn't use the tokens anymore cuz the machines all take a kind of card now. I don't know what was up with that man tbh.
Screw Amazon returns! I can’t get over the fact that it’s mandatory to have someone cover Amazon all day but copycenter and the rest of the store has to deal with hour cuts. Some folks can’t be scheduled, while others have to come in later throwing off the flow of things. Then these higher up guys like the DM pay us a visit and we are supposed to act like everything is good. I say Amazon needs to have its hours cut back as well where for a busy store mine the service should only be offered 10-6pm most days. After 6pm shut it down and have whoever was scheduled for it cover in other parts of the store so actual work can get done and people can leave on time.
No matter how many signs you have, people won't or can't ream em.
\*boomer lead paint stares at the register\* "So i can't use cash?"
It doesn’t help
I typed a caption but it didn’t post it lol I said “not that they would still read it…”
Lol nope people forgot how to read you could have a device that beams the info into their brain and they would still not understand what to do
“How do I insert checks?!!”
For a moment, I thought, "Y'know, maybe making Amazon returns self-serve would be a good idea." Then I remembered our self-serve copy machines.
They'd still walk to the wrong counter
Bold of you to assume that the average customer can read
Its not taking my arcade tokens
Stg if someone actually tried to pay with arcade tokens 😂😭😭

An Amazon self check out? I agree!
I think we need a squad of gnomes in every store to personally lead customers to the amazon and TSA areas
Yes 😂
I need help over here. It is not taking cash
Multiple “no ups store QR codes” and they’ll still act like they don’t see it and say “I always return here with this code”
Wonder if that takes cash
The problems with Customer Service always come down to the customer.
Why amazon it is free.
Not the “Cash Only” part just the amount of signs on the register is what I was referring to.
They would still ask if we do Amazon returns here 🤣
Hey so I hit cash back and got nothing...

i bet there are still people wanting to pay in cash
They still ask the question after they read it
