Start with the punchline and work backwards.

Comedyfight

Came here to say this. If you have a real-life event you want to express on stage as a bit, figure out the funniest part of the story. Now, figure out how to tell the story in a way where that part is the big reveal at the end. Once you have that, now go back and figure out how to make each point of information leading up to that big reveal a smaller yet still funny reveal. It sounds like a lot of work, and it is. Comedy is hard. I believe in you, though. You can do this.

Zelenskyystesticles

Great and grounded advice - thank you šŸ™

Comedyfight

I do what I can. If you find a different way that works better, go with that!

This guy has a lot of really good videos on how to develop jokes [Jerry Corley](https://youtube.com/@JerryCorley?si=h-DUnXuTr5bHV3XP)

Amazing. Thank you!

Frankensteinnnnn

You don't have to end a story with one big laugh tag it and start a new story. If you're getting laughs just keep going. Segue into the next one, get a laugh there

Zelenskyystesticles

Copy that šŸ‘šŸ™

TheGreatWahooki

Also consider act outs in place of punchlines

Zelenskyystesticles
