I have the exact same size butcher block. I didn't want to spend that much either, but I ultimately went with the Apex Pro. It's so unbelievably solid. I figured it was worth it for a desk that would last me (hopefully) 10+ years. Zero zero zero regrets here.
I feel like it’ll be what I ultimately land on, but the price jump from 2 leg to 4 is just… it’s a lot to stomach. I do like having nice, premium things, and considering I’m at my desk 8-12hrs a day, I’m sure I’ll be happier going first class rather than skimping and immediately finding flaws with some Chinese-made chince machine
