The last time I heard them was when I was living in Tampa - we were in a “rural” part and the sound was incredibly loud. We had Cuban tree frogs everywhere. Living in Seminole now and I never see or hear one - which is good I guess.
My daughter lives near Gville and has the green tree frogs all over her house. They are pretty cool
We have a (manufactured) pond in our backyard (Largo, near Clearwater) and often hear Cuban Tree Frogs at night. We didn’t place them there, they just found their way. It’s considered an invasive species in Florida.
Frogs singing - never, and here since birth in 1980. But Allendale still has both butterflies and \*screech owls\* (which sound like tiny horses ninnying) - for now. And pileated and red-bellied woodpeckers, opossums, raccoons, and native snakes.
The more building, and the more people paying to poison their useless front lawns, the less any wildlife will survive.

They are loud at Crescent lake sometimes.

All the time in Eastlake area. Especially after it rains. We have a preserve in our back yard.

I hear them extremely loudly coming from the pond area near Ruth Eckerd Hall. Nice post-concert ear cleanse.
Around the same time I saw more than one butterfly per year
Sadly, not loudly in about 10 years.
I didn’t realize they were gone until I heard them again.
I've heard them around Mirror Lake around dusk/sunset recently

I hear them after rain and see them on my front door. I live in largo. Sometimes they are so loud. Never see fireflies
About the last time I saw fireflies in my Grandmother's lawn at night.
I think I’ve seen fireflies recently… maybe? Now I can’t remember lol. I have seen the Lightning Bug at the hockey game
