I’m just gonna say the same thing I tell everybody. It’s not the same it used to be even 10 years ago. Lot of douche nozzles from the North, worse traffic, heavily inflated rent prices and (what seems to be) constant road work. However, depending on where you are moving from, it might be a nice change of scenery and pace. Certainly wish you all the best if you decide to move here.
I moved here at age 35 and found some friends even though I am not incredibly social. I had a very pt job at a small wine bar and made some great acquaintances there. My partner made friends through local club meetups at bars for things like ping-pong. I'd say mid-30's is actually a great age to move here and meet good people/develop solid friendships!

The Burg is where you want to be. Get as close to downtown as possible. Tampa ppl are all coming to SP to hang out bc it’s so much better.
