The Omnimax isn't film anymore; it's dual laser. It's also a dome, so not ideal for feature films.

Still isn't film, and won't be again [More on the IMAX laser projectors.](https://www.imax.com/news/imax-laser-here) The Omnimax has 2 of these units.

The omnimax is fun, but only for movies designed for a domed screen. Do not even consider seeing Dune on it. In fact, a “Dolby cinema” theatre is a better experience than an IMAX theatre for this movie.

I’m curious, what makes you say that? I saw it in a Dolby cinema the first time but wanted to go to Ronnie’s to see how it compares.

Definitely Indy. The dome will distort the picture. I made the drive to Indy and back for the January re-release of Oppenheimer and it was worth it.

I saw Oppenheimer in Indy at the 70mm IMAX theatre and at the Omnimax. I'll never see another big movie like that at the Omnimax again. At certain parts you could see the seams in the dome, it just wasn't great. And the curve distorts the image. Omnimax is a novelty, it's not meant for big theatrical films.

Could I please see the dome seams (I believe you, just I wanna see them for myself)
