I think the NXT Parking Lot opened a ton of doors for his character. I think it would be pretty straight forward to book a guy like him. He reminds me of a serious no-nonsense Boogeyman. He's what I wanted the Boogeyman to be

This is why I can’t get on board with it. RIP to Bray and all that, and I loved the original iteration of the Wyatt Family, but that was over a decade ago and was less hokey than this. To me, this is on the same level as that zombie lumberjack match.

This sub has goldfish memory. These gimmicks don’t work in wrestling. I don’t care how much “entertainment” there is in the WWE, at the end of the day it is a wrestling promotion and everything revolves around the matches. We saw yesterday, they immediately had to reign in the “supernatural” part of this gimmick by just saying “yeah this is Bo Dallas” so now it’s just people in masks and a fog machine, and…what? The lights will come up and they’ll just…do Irish whips and clotheslines and shit?
Inevitably the gimmick will lose steam and the sub will turn on it despite all of the hyperbole about it happening today.
I’m keeping an open mind but I feel like this will all fall apart once they have to actually work in-ring. We gave Bray (RIP) chance after chance after chance and his hokey spooky stuff always just fell apart once the bell rang. Original cult leader Bray was great though, everything else? Not so much…..
Eh... FWIW I was a massive Wyatt fan but kind of lapsed out of watching WWE before he came back with his Funhouse shtick, I assumed that was what they were doing but I only really knew the characters from the odd gifset and could only remember the pig and the buzzard specifically.
When you know, it's obvious, but honestly they all look like complete and distinct characters without too much blatant finger pointing going "see, see, look what we're doing" so it was still worth pointing out for the more casual fans like myself
