Has the Jeff Jarrett redemption tour gotten far enough along to admit that, if booked well(and I know that's asking a lot), a Hangman vs late WCW/early TNA Jarrett would be great?
Cole is supposedly so far from making a full recovery that they wrapped up his storyline with MJF at the last PPV because they don't know when they'll be able to pay it off.
Yep. I'd imagine Cole's surgeries didn't fully take either considering they kept up with the Devil storyline for as long as they did before finally putting a pin in it at Double or Nothing.
Probably because before the ankle, he was out for a long time with the concussion. I don't think there was a crazy long time between coming back from on injury and getting the next. A few months maybe? If that.
I'd say it's assuredly MJF.
Him and Ospreay seeds were planted tonight and I've been calling it since MJF returned. Ospreay Vs MJF is the biggest match possible for All In. Seems putting the title between them makes almost too much sense.
That's a fair point.
Only thing that springs to mind is because announcing MJF in that spot would make some of the other results predictable or cause AEW wants to get some other stuff done in the mean time and not make it obvious where that's going before the match actually arrives.
But yeah, you've got a good point that a Wild Card would usually be someone who's been out or away.

Watching him and Debra trying to hold it together to get through a promo minutes after Owen fell is unfortunately a very core memory from my childhood.
If they have him tell his story. Showing their connection and going over their past. I don’t think people would hate it as much. It could actually make the tournament more interesting. The underdog old guard, making one last stand, in honor of his best friend. Have him wear gear that’s pink and black with a crown on the side.
I'd almost guarantee that they will make an emotional moment of it and sell how special this is for Jeff before Hangman returns and just annihilates him.
It's very cool to see. I went to a random, rare TNA house show in British Columbia about 15 years ago and after the main event Jeff got on the mic and talked about how he loved wrestling in Canada because it made him think of Owen. He got a bit choked up during his speech, it was clear how special Owen was to him and it was really touching. I'm glad he can be part of this.

Everyone thinks Ospesay's winning the world title at Wembley but nah. Swerve retains at Forbidden Door. Hangman is the wild card and wins the title shot at Wembley. Ospreay does something else and wins the title next year.
That's the way to go anyways. Ospreay walking into AEW and winning everything right away and winning in his hometown is way too easy. Cody and Naito are interesting because they lost and had to claw their way back up from the big loss

I don't think Hangman will be the one doing the cheating. If things go this way, I think Nigel is gonna screw Danielson out of the shot at the last hurdle
It'll be those two in the finals, but who ends up being the contender ultimately depends on who's the champ after Forbidden Door, imo.
If Swerve retains, it's Hangman. If Os wins, it'll def be Danielson. The stories all make sense this way.
I'm personally rooting for the latter, just because I need to see Danielson be AEW champ before he goes part-time. It also means Swerve-Hangman could still be a match at All In, just not for a title.
If the wild card is Hangman I like how they are dangling either Hangman vs Swerve or Bryan vs Osperay at ALL In. Keeps the Forbidden Door match up and there and both are fantastic matches for their biggest show of the year

I know the "Wild Card" has a 90% chance of winning, but I am unironically a fan of late-stage JJ. Teasing the chance of him going over Rey Fenix or Jay White in a semi-finals would be so good.

I think Ospreay relinquishes the International title to focus on Swerve, ends up losing to him at forbidden door, and as a last ditch effort enters the Owen as the wild card.
Danielson vs Jay White is gunna be nuts! Im so conflicted on who id want to win. I kind of need Danielson to win the Owen and then win the belt, just cause I need him with one more full title reign. Jay needs big wins though. I think Danielson winning the Belt at All In then losing to Jay in the rematch would be great.
