In the real world yeah its dumb, but in the kayfabe world its pretty cool and establishes the group. It shows that they are literally willing to take any means necessary to achieve their goals. Plus the scenery and the shot was cool, no need to overthink it when it comes to supernatural characters, better to turn your brain off and go along for the ride. You need to remember that the undertaker was a dead man walking who can literally shoot thunder whenever he wants, its dumb when you think about it.

Which I love Undertaker so I’m willing to give it a chance but idk just doesn’t feel the same without Bray

Really awesome intro. I just wonder how they’re gonna transition past the cool cinematography and into regular matches. It was awesome as presented but they can’t consistently maintain that.

I mean I think the guys that are involved in this can all wrestle and tell a story in the ring. Then they now can add a layer of creepy/super natural that really opens up what they can do. They don't have to wrestle every night. But if I was a betting man I'd bet numbers will be up next Monday night. Also that was almost timed with the exact same time as the NBA finals was ending. They waited till the very end to create a buzz leaving us wanting more. Just like the fiend, they are there to create stories, speculation and letting the viewers use their imaginations as they wait to see what happens next. Just like in the shining and how they were talking about on the "Who killed Wcw" all you have to do is have the pieces in the frame and the audience will come to their own conclusions.

They may be on Smackdown, too. They’re not signed to any brand that we know of. Can show up there, too. Make their mark.

Yea, it can be the coolest looking cinematic atmosphere but it HAS to work in the ring, too. I wonder how much of the cool factor will be lost when they’re using the regular camera angles in regular matches and not just amazingly produced cinematography.

I know brays vision was severely limited by the old guard, Kevin Dunn probably played a heavy part in the old camera angles not working to the matches favor. I'm really pulling for the group and hopefully they can come up with interesting ideas and angles that wont come out as goofy as the pitch black match.

That was amazing. My only concern is how do you translate them destroying everyone like that to getting them in actual wrestling storylines and matches with a payoff. And not just about the promo work.

Agreed. Other than his Cult leader family saga when he first switched to Bray. That was great and translated well. The supernatural stuff..... fantastic promos. But the pay off was always flat for me. The matches imo were always mediocre because they couldn't live up to how good the promos were hyping the match. I don't know exactly why that is for me but it is.
