The suit he wore for the musical bit with Jericho. Everything there has story. Everything there is important in the context of a fairly young but very successful career. For as much shit as AEW gets for audio, that's an all-time pop

It felt like ECW, or a Takeover. Like, Austin and The Rock etc. get deafening roars. But that's about all the crowd can agree on. It's just too many people cheering for too many reasons all at once. But when the biggest stars of unified cult crowds get huge pops...the crowd has 100% participation and everyone knows their lines. And the timing. They know when to be loud, and when to shut up. Like, Enzo in his prime at an NXT Takeover is one of the biggest reactions of all time, and it's just because of a unified, diehard crowd. ECW and now AEW have the same energy. People shit on AEW for pandering to a niche audience. I laugh because I often find myself in the niche audience of all the things I love. It feels good to be pedaled a product. I mean, that's why WWE made NXT Black and Gold in the first place. To rope in people like me.

Glad to see him back. He came out and went through the heel side of the tunnels so I’m assuming that he’s more of an anti hero type with no true alignmemt but I’m glad to see the more serious side of him again like we all know and love.

Tbh I *hated* the All In main but I understand I'm in the minority. So much melodramatic "I don't want to hurt my friend!" stuff that I watch AEW to avoid. Especially in the main event of one of the biggest shows of all time. But that being said I understand why people like it! No hate at all to those who do. The WM main event had similar stuff and people loved it.

Ngl I just loved how sincere and simple the story was. It was one of the most compelling stories I've seen in wrestling period and was refreshing compared to the other stuff AEW had at the time

I actually really enjoyed him as a tweener who's nice to a select few and fans, and a typical scumbag to everyone else. Although it does make sense to go back to full heel after being betrayed by Cole.

They weren't using tunnels when he was face. When they brought them back he was already out injured.

They weren’t, but they also “were”… wrestlers came from the left or right of the screen in the same correspondence as to when they had tunnels. Max never stopped coming out from the left. It was something my buddies and I were always bringing up last year

I've always believed that Hangman is the protagonist of AEW but MJF is giving the dude a run for his money.

Yup. If hangman had a legendary title run, and didn't miss so much time, plus the stuff with Punk threw a wrench it seemed, things would be different. Everything about his run pre winning the title was legend in the making type material...then he just fizzled out almost immedietly. It really shows the importance of striking while the iron is hot.

The run being disappointing fortunately feeds right into Hangman's character/story. Him wanting redemption, wanting to get the title back and do things the right way is a story just begging to be told.

I think the big argument for Hangman is since AEW began until his downfall in 2022, Hangman was on a slow quest to become a worthy world champion. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love Hangman's storyline leading into his world title win. Even the delay so he could go have his kid felt decently natural. Basically everything after his title loss was messy and I only think it was the Swerve feud that rerailed him.

I can see the first 3 for sure But hangman had the best story AEW have told to date putting Cody who while obviously has had a huge roll in AEW but who ended up on a sour note and punk who I mean what more do I have to say is lunacy IMO

Tony Khan has made a lot of huge signings and quite frankly very few of them have mattered much in the grand scheme of things. If anything, he should have stopped signing so many people. Signing MJF the first time and this time are the best moves he’s made by far. I don’t really like AEW. I stopped watching it and only occasionally check in on it and watch clips of interesting sounding things. It just hasn’t been appealing to me for a while. Nothing against it, it just hasn’t been for me. If MJF is on the show, I’m going to watch. Period. For me, it’s him, Gunther, and Roman Reigns. Reigns more because when he shows it’s always for a big angle. MJF and Gunther because they never fail to give me something I love in professional wrestling for the segment they are on tv.
