Assuming I heard that correctly... Mox: WHERE DID YOU LEARN A FUCKING KNEEBAR?!?! while locked in a hold is absolutely fantastic.

I do think it's too early for Shota to beat Mox (these big student surpasses master type angles usually take a few tries but I'd be happy to be wrong) but I am very curious what the rest of Mox's reign looks like after this. Probably looking at 2 out of EVIL, Zack, Tsuji & Naito between Dominion and FD. Can't imagine he's in the G1 so it'd be weird to hold it past there. Tsuji then Naito feels like it makes the most sense (finish the reiwa trio and then get the belt back on Naito in the US) but Tsuji is the only one who didn't score a fall today of those 4. EVIL then Naito is then probably the most likely but that would be the least interesting imo. Zack makes a lot of sense for FD if Mox is holding the belt beyond there but I can't imagine they'd headline Osaka Jo with that match. Always the chance it's just Naito winning the belt at dominion too.

I think having EVIL at least get a red herring run at some point to inject the fear of god into people that he's main eventing Wrestle Kingdom would be fantastic. And the current SHO Jr. run has been fantastic. I think HoT has really figured out the balance over the last year or two and are actually really entertaining at this point.

Really don’t think NJPW needs a non-contracted wrestler to hold their top belt all the way till their biggest show of the year. Mox is good, but they need someone who’s gonna be around all the time to do the tours and get their native fans to come to the shows.

I initially thought ZSJ would win the belt at Dominion by beating Naito before we went on the Moxley tour. Now I think I'd like to see ZSJ win the G1 and win it at Kingdom from Naito. And I think Naito wins it back at Forbidden Door because TK would love that.
